I am not a runner! I am a free man.... I run because it is good for me and as I advance into my 6th decade I need the discipline and movement to stay active.
Tape2tape events are for everybody. Yes there are some serious runners involved but I feel all of us are welcome. The team works very hard, are very professional and create a good atmosphere.
Even though I am not that keen a runner, I enjoy Tape2tape and appreciate what they do for the area and local charities.
Both the Great Grimsby and the Humber Coastal are fine events, well worth doing.

times and always enjoy running in such
a fab and exceptionally well
organised event. I’ve been running a lot of years and getting progressively slower each year ! but I still enjoy it just as much. This year I ran with my daughter in law - it’s great to see my family enjoying running too. Thank you and I hope to be back next year. Race no 2344

Well organised events, just completed the 11th Great Grimsby 10k and it was better than ever, excellent volunteers, fantastic support as Grimsby residents came out in force. We had 6 family members running this year, it was a great day topped off with meeting friends on the route and at the finish, great atmosphere, Kev 1960

I have been running Tape2tape events for many years now. My favourite is the Grimsby 10k, I have ran this for 8 years now and it's always fantastic. The route is well signposted, well marshalled and has at least 3 water stations. There is always an amazing medal and a welcome treat at the finish line.

Brilliant organisation, super friendly marshalls, wonderful atmosphere. I had a last minute glitch with my number and it was sorted out really calmly and nothing was a problem. A great flat(ish) course. Will defo do again.

This was the 1st time doing the orsted great Grimsby 10k and I love it will definitely be returning !! It was also my 1st tape to tape event, they was great information before the race and I knew all I needed to know. On the day the organisation was brilliant the marshals was lovley, the route was a nice route to run. They was great atmosphere from start to finish with music and bands around the course. Finished of with a doughnut 🍩

Tape2tape alway present well organised races that are also great value for money. Medals are always impressive and if you choose to purchase a tshirt they are great quality. Races are well supported and often with bands etc en route.

Great Grimsby Orsted 10km was my first ever race. It was well organised and informative, the volunteers and supporters were absolutely on top of their game even handing out medals and donuts at the finish line, which was a nice detail I can’t lie. Nothing about that day sucked I loved every minute of it, and I’m sure everyone else did by the looks of it.

The Ørsted Great Grimsby 10k is a flawlessly organised, high-energy race that delivers an amazing running experience from start to finish. Communication was fantastic right from booking, with crystal-clear instructions for race day, while a great PA system and an incredible "hype up" at the start line created an electric atmosphere. The route itself is a runner’s dream, featuring wide, fully-closed roads, fantastic crowd support along the course, live music from multiple bands, and three perfectly spaced water stations staffed by friendly volunteers. To top it all off, the finish area was 100% the best I have ever experienced in a 10k event - making this a highly recommended event in race organization for anyone chasing a PB or a brilliant community vibe.

Grimsby 10k super quick course. Very well organised and great support from local residents. Growing Event year on year. Lovely place to finish at People’s Park. A few of us came over from Barnsley Athletic Club. Will definitely do it next year.

Really well organised race with lots of pre race info so no surprises on the day. Centrally located with good access to facilities eg parking and cafes. Really supportive volunteers and lots of them! Great finish in the park with a lovely atmosphere. 3rd time at the event and will be back again.

I have attended these Grimsby 10km race for the second year in a row.
High energy, very well planned and run so smoothly from applying to run to race day. You can see the amount of effort that gets put in by the event organisers, the volunteers are so happy to help, they keep regular contact and you are provided with a runners guide of everything you need to know. I can’t recommend these events enough! They’re fun, and the pre event set up is great and designed to get the crowd going.
