Product fixed my leaking tap!
Product fixed my leaking tap!
It's a little less smooth turning on an off than the original, but works fine.
Choosing the right valve was also a headache - the measurement filters on the site don't work well/accurately and the differences in some of the measurements are so small that accurate measurement against the original was nigh on impossible.

Needed a 25mm mixer tap cartridge and could not see that size in any standard physical retailers. The Tap Cartridge website has a huge range and a comprehensive measurement guide so you can order with confidence. Delivery was as promised.

Svar från Tap Cartridges
Hi Brian,
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We completely understand how frustrating it is to go through the effort of fitting a new part only for it to leak, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
While it's certainly possible the cartridges themselves are faulty, our experience shows that leaks after a replacement can sometimes be caused by other issues within the tap itself. Often, a tiny piece of grit or limescale left on the brass valve seat inside the tap body is enough to prevent the new cartridge from sealing perfectly. In older taps, the seat itself can also become worn or pitted over time, which can cause a persistent drip even with a brand new part.
This is exactly the kind of situation our support team is here to help with, and we're sorry we didn't get the chance to troubleshoot this with you. We pride ourselves on our customer support, but we can't seem to find any record of you reaching out to us.
We stand by our products 100% and would be grateful for the opportunity to resolve this. We are more than happy to send a free replacement set, but we'd also like to help you get to the bottom of the issue. Please get in touch with our team with your order details, and we can run through these possibilities and ensure you get a perfect seal.
You can reach us directly via email on info@showersealuk.com.
Kind regards,
Darren | Tap-cartridges.com
