Firat, als erfahrener Bergführer und Inhaber von TAF Travel, führte uns mit großer Leidenschaft und Fachkenntnis durch die gesamte Tour. Die atemberaubenden Landschaften, die einzigartigen historischen Stätten und die herausfordernden Aufstiege machten diese Reise zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Ich habe an der 7-tägigen Ararat-Tour mit TAF Travel teilgenommen, und es war eine der besten Entscheidungen, die ich je getroffen habe. Vom ersten Moment an war die Professionalität des Teams spürbar. Unsere Guides waren nicht nur erfahrene Bergsteiger, sondern auch unglaublich hilfsbereit und motivierend. Besonders Firat, mit seiner ruhigen Art und seinem umfangreichen Wissen, sorgte dafür, dass wir uns immer sicher fühlten, auch in herausfordernden Momenten. Die Landschaft war einfach spektakulär, und der Sonnenaufgang am Gipfel war einer der schönsten Anblicke meines Lebens. Diese Tour ist ein Muss für jeden, der den Ararat erklimmen möchte – mit einem Team, das weiß, was es tut!

Ich habe die 6-tägige Ararat-Tour mit TAF Travel gemacht und bin mehr als begeistert. Von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zum letzten Tag der Reise war die Betreuung exzellent. Das gesamte Team war professionell, freundlich und hatte immer ein offenes Ohr für Fragen oder Anliegen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sicherheitsplanung – es wurde immer darauf geachtet, dass wir uns in einem sicheren Umfeld bewegen. Die Guides kannten jede Route und jedes Detail des Berges. Der Gipfeltag war anstrengend, aber mit der richtigen Unterstützung und Motivatton haben wir es alle geschafft. Diese Tour ist ein absolutes Muss für alle Bergbegeisterten!

Die 7-tägige Ararat-Tour war eine unglaubliche Erfahrung! Ich wusste, dass es eine Herausforderung werden würde, aber dank der großartigen Unterstützung von Firat und seinem Team fühlte ich mich jederzeit sicher und gut aufgehoben. Firat ist nicht nur ein hervorragender Bergführer, sondern auch jemand, der sich wirklich um seine Gäste kümmert. Er nahm sich die Zeit, jeden einzelnen Teilnehmer individuell zu betreuen und motivierte uns auf dem Weg zum Gipfel. Die Organisation der Tour war erstklassig, von der Ausrüstung bis zur Verpflegung. Der Moment, als wir den Gipfel erreichten, war einfach unbeschreiblich! Ich würde diese Tour sofort wieder machen!

Die 6-tägige Ararat-Tour mit TAF Travel war mit Abstand eine der besten Reisen meines Lebens! Von Anfang bis Ende war alles perfekt organisiert – Unterkünfte, Mahlzeiten und die gesamte Logistik waren hervorragend. Die Guides waren äußerst professionell und haben sich mit großem Engagement um unsere Sicherheit und unser Wohlbefinden gekümmert. Besonders beeindruckend war, wie gut die gesamte Tour durchgeplant war, sodass wir uns ganz auf das Erlebnis konzentrieren konnten. Der Gipfelmoment war atemberaubend – ein einmaliges Gefühl von Freiheit und Erfolg! Wer auf der Suche nach einem unvergesslichen Abenteuer mit erstklassiger Betreuung ist, sollte sich diese Tour nicht entgehen lassen!

Organisation/Ablauf klappte reibungslos. Wir buchten die Reise für 4 Personen auf den Ararat. Uns wurde ein Englisch oder Deutsch sprechender Bergführer von der Agentur versprochen. Im Basecamp angekommen war es jedoch schwer sich tu verständigen. Niemand konnte weder Englisch und schon gar nicht erst Deutsch. Im 2ten Camp angelangt erhielten wir dann unseren "professionellen" Bergführer _auch dieser konnte Werder Englisch noch Deutsch. Die Verständigung klappte somit überhaupt nicht! Letztendlich brachen wir zu 6 zum Gipfel auf Mut einem Bergführer. Somit hieß es für uns - alle rauf oder alle runter, da die gruppe zusammen bleiben sollte wenn es jemandem schlecht geht - die Agentur meinte noch "wenn es jemandem nicht gut geht, kann diese person ja Alleine wieder umkehren! Alles in allem schafften wir es alle zu Gipfel, der Bergführer scheinte jedoch sehr genervt über unser Tempo und wartete nicht auf langsamere Mitglieder der Gruppe. Verständigung war nicht möglich da einfachstes Englisch nicht verstanden wurde. Im Camp angekommen wurde uns Bier und Cola angeboten. Als wir austranken wurde pro Getränk 7€ verlangt - niemand hatte ein Geld mit, da es von der Agentur hieß "für was braucht ihr Geld am Berg"?! Verständigung war auch hier wieder sehr schwierig und das Team am Berg schien stark beleidigt und man hatte ein ungutes Gefühl.
Die zelte waren nur teilweise in Ordnung - teilweise waren es 1Mann zelte in denen man zu 2 schlafen musste und überhaupt keinen Platz für die Rucksäcke und Taschen hatte. Zudem waren 2 zelte defekt - Reißverschluss und Löcher!

It was a great trip, everything perfectly and flexible organised by TAF travel, beautiful nature, real professional guides team, both Firat and Ahmed were much supportive and cheerful companions, we enjoyed with them mountains hiking as well as Kurdish dancing. We had delicious meals either prepared by Ahmed cook in mountains or in all restarants, good accomodation in hotels as well. TAF travel is a perfect choice and we can highly recomend their service. Firat & both Ahmeds thans for all!

Taf.Travel ist ein Familienunternehmen mit einer fünfzigjährigen Erfahrung in der Organisation der Gipfelläufe. Ich durfte einige aus der Familie kennenlernen und über ihre Geschichte erfahren. Sie kennen sich mit Ararat und der Region bestens aus und behandeln die Gäste in Ihren Touren nicht wie Touristen sondern als Gäste der Familie gehen aber auf die Bedürfnisse ein. Egal in welcher Aktivität verfügen sie über eine sehr gute Infrastruktur (von Ausrüstung bis ärztliche Versorgung sowie Sicherheit) und lassen einen zu Hause fühlen ... Für mich war s eine unglaubliche Erfahrung. Danke guys!

We went to the Nemrut and Süphan mountains before Ararat and I recommend it to everyone.
Our guide Fırat is a very experienced and careful guide. Our cook made wonderful delicious food, we are grateful to him.

Our 5 day trip to Mount Ararat was perfectly organized. From the pick up at the airport till reaching the top. We enjoyed every Moment. The team of TAF travel was very competent and we felt like a part of the mountain family. We can highly recommend TAF travel. Thanks for the awesome experience!!!

The most horrible guide I’ve ever had.

On the summit day, we had no water. Can you believe that?! We ran out of water!!! And even though the guide knew this in the evening before we climbed the summit, the guide did nothing. We were for one full day without any water, but half a bottle (250 ml) each.

The guide (Firat) showed no care for any of the hikers. One of our group fell and scraped his leg. Then it got infected and he could barely walk. The guide refused to let him take a horse, even though this only cost USD$2.

Then, the guide lied about giving us breakfast on the last day when he wanted us to leave early from the hotel.

He also lied to all of us about one of the members who was locked out of his hotel room, telling us instead that he had decided to be with his family. The guide didn’t help this member of the group (who was the injured one) get to another room so he could lie down and relax.

During the hike, the guide was grumpy and yelled at various members for little reason when they tried to walk a bit faster. The guide put the slowest people at the front, which caused frustration and delays for everyone.

There are so many other bad things with this guide and tour. Please DON’T USE this company!

Polecam TAF Travel. Grupa wesołych i profesjonalnych ludzi. Cały czas dbali, aby wyprawa przebiegła bezpiecznie i przyjemnie. Dobrze zorganizowane obozy. Jedyny minus: dają mało wody tj. butelka 0,5 l na dzień. Warto zaopatrzyć sie w zapas wody, tym bardziej, że główne bagaże pomiędzy obozami przewożą konie.

Очень хорошо прошло восхождение, успешно поднялся на вершину, огромная благодарность гидам, повару и сотрудникам отеля. Все вопросы были решены, сервис на высоком уровне. Рекомендую TAF Travel всем кто мечтает о вершине Арарат.
The ascent went very well, successfully climbed to the top, many thanks to the guides, the chef and the hotel staff. All issues were resolved, service at a high level. I recommend TAF Travel to everyone who dreams of Mount Ararat.

My daughter and I joined a party of 12 attempting to scale Mount Ararat. I had researched a number of companies who do treks up the mountain but chose TAF travel because they seemed to offer the best combination of quality, professionalism and value for money. And I am think I chose well!
Our mountain guide, driver, fluent English and German speaker (not to mention Kurdish dancer) Firat Ceven, was tireless in making sure that every part of our trip went smoothly. He was also very prompt in responding to all the questions I WhatsApped him in the weeks before our trip e.g. what type of boots we needed to take crampons (of particular importance as we were climbing in May which was likely to be icy). We didn't quite make the summit owing to the weather but it was still a life affirming experience. We will be back - with TAF travel - to complete the adventure.

Ich empfehle jedem der auf Ararat gehen möchte sich den TAF Trave als Führer zu nehmen. Ich hatte das Gefühl das ich Verwandtschaft besucht habe die mir nicht nur den Berg zeigten, sondern auch ein Teil des türkischen Leben. Wir müssten uns um nichts kümmern, top Service! Desde este momento él te acompaña/lleva a todas partes transmitiendo una confianza y sencillez que te hacen estar cómodamente como en casa.
La ascensión al Ararat perfecta, primera aproximación en furgoneta para partir andando hasta el Campo 1 con una mochila de día y con un pícnic hecho por el mejor cocinero que puede tener. Todas las comidas perfectas y excelentes, comida muy buena y Ayhan el cocinero excelente. A toda hora te ofrecen té. Ambos, Firat y Ayhan siempre brillan por su sonrisa y positivismo.
Con suerte también te deleitarán con sus típicos bailes kurdos, espectaculares.
En el Campo 1 y Campo 2 se duerme en tiendas que suben los caballos junto a tus posibles objectos personales necesarios (saco de dormir, grampones, ropa recambio...)
Firat siempre está dispuestos a ayudarte y a brindarte confort y comodidad. Su brillante actitud y atención son sus mejores aliados
Todo ha estado ámpliamente a la altura, genial y a su vez hicimos la cima 🙂🙂.
Sin duda, si tenemos la oportunidad, volveremos a disfrutar de sus servicios.

CLimbing Mount Ararat with TAF Travel has been a unique experience. It has been my first 5.000 mt mountain and it couldn’t have been better specially regarding the mountain guide and the cook, who are really nice people. Moreover, as I’m vegetarian and I have to follow a gluten-free diet, they have respected that and the food was great the whole time. Feeling grateful!
