Personal opinion on TW
Personal opinion here, but I’d almost never do business with anyone but Tackle Warehouse at this point (on a national scale, not talking about local guys). Without fail, any time there’s an issue, TW fixes it. Shockingly, GLS lost yet another 300+ dollar rod in shipment. I called TW and they immediately sent me a new one, and even made sure it still arrives by the weekend. Good old Johnny Morris can’t touch that level of customer service with a ten foot pole…
Horrible Customer Service
Told me I would receive merch in 7 days so I ordered. Then I got an email adding 5 days to the order so I called customer service. I was told too bad they had shipped so I just needed to call UPS. VERY VERY RUDE and offered no help. Never use these jerks again for any product
Difficulty in trying to order
Difficulty in trying to order. Sent an email telling them if the issue but received no response. Their Customer Service is as poor as it gets.
They resent me a package after UPS…
They resent me a package after UPS delivered it to the wrong house and it was then stolen off my porch. No charge except shipping. Also the only issue that I had at all was they accidentally shipped the new package to the neighboring state that had almost the same house address so I called them and they resent it again
Takes weeks or months to get what you ordered.
I love tackle warehouses selection and their website works great and is easy to navigate, but until they make changes to improve their order fulfillment, I will not buy from them again. I ordered some swim baits and jerk baits the first week of march and they haven’t shipped out yet, everything I ordered said it was in stock. They need to make major changes to their order fulfillment/ distribution systems before they start losing business.
Good Experience, Good Customer Service
Purchased $300+ dollars in baits and rods from tackle warehouse to date, across 4 orders. Their customer service rep Laden was helpful and professional. When they have what I'm looking for in stock, I know where to go.
Terrible customer service
I submitted two orders on 2/14/2023.The first was shipped right away by GLS.I received it the next day.The second order (basically the same stuff)was submitted about an hour later.They shipped it with UPS.This is almost always a bad idea!
I live less than 6 hours away from Tackle Warehouse.To date I have not received this order.UPS has just informed me the order has been delayed,This means next week."MAYBE"TW used to have the best customer service in the industry.It is now the worst!!I get tackle from midwest & east coast websites faster than I do from TW.
PS This is not the first bad experience I've had with Tackle Warehouse.It will be the last
They say they offer military discount
They say they offer military discount, but they really don’t want to give it. You have to pay in full, then email to ask for discount. My wife ordered for me, the veteran, but they wouldn’t give the discount because the credit card wasn’t in MY name. Even though the order was going to MY address. They were non-responsive on email, then rude on the phone with my wife. I canceled the order.

Unbelievable Worst Service
Unbelievable worst customer service ever. Waited on hold for 30 minutes to find out why I received an email telling me my order was on the way when I didn’t place an order. Turns out it was a back ordered item that I ordered over four months ago. They went ahead and charged my credit card and said it’s on the way. It was actually a Christmas gift when I placed the order 4 months ago. I certainly don’t want this item now. He told me it couldn’t be canceled because the order was already headed for shipment. Then he threatened me that if I disputed the charge I could never order from them again! THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME! No problem Tackle Warehouse. Go elsewhere.
Do not buy anything from Tackle…
Do not buy anything from Tackle Warehouse. They recently got hacked. They sent me a letter and 2 days later my credit card got hacked and my e mail got comprimised. They take no blame for it and no help as other companies have in the past. I wrote them and got ho reply.
International orders discrimination..
First before making order contacted them and asked about shipping to Russia. They answered that they can't ship to my country. Ok, i found logistic company with shipping adress in US and made an order using Paypal, pointed the US adress where they should make a shipment. But Tackle Warehouse refunded payment(without sending email notification). After I asked why they cancelled order could get answer only in instagram. They said "For security reasons, Tackle Warehouse does not ship to freight forwarding locations.."
So I would not recommend to cooperate with that company until management resolve customer-orientation problems..
Weird shipping policy!
First of all I’m a US citizen living abroad on work assignment. Tried my first order to ship it to a freight forwarding company, they cancelled the order because apparently they don’t do that. Fine. But at least send an email or call me to let me know instead of me having to login to their crappy website and find out there was a note left in the order that it was cancelled. Ordered second time but now ship it to a friend’s address but still they wouldn’t ship it because it’s different from billing address. Seriously? Then why do you even have a field on the order for shipping and billing address? I’ve not had any issues doing it this way with many other online merchant. Even after callin to verify who I am (if they’re so concerned about fraud) still they wouldn’t ship it to an address different from billing address.
Please take your business local and close down your website. You’re a disgrace to e-commerce!
5 months to receive my order
I placed an order on September 18, 2020. When I placed the order, I was not informed that some items were out of stock. I received an email after I placed the order informing me of this. A month and a half later on November 2, 2020, I reached out asking the status. They told me the remaining items would be in stock November 13, 2020 and would ship then. It’s February 13, 2021 and I just received my items in the mail. Ridiculous customer service.
Cheated me out of my money
I am only giving a one star since I cannot put this on without it. I meant to order an actual gift card. They said it was emailed to me. They also said it was used. I found this email with numbers and password to redeem.
It showed no money on this gift card. It was emailed to me so who else would use it but me.
I don't fish. I'm 72 years old. I did not use this.
They have cheated me out of my money.
Tackle Warehouse total disappointment
I'm a bass fisherman from Spain and after reading a lot of good comments about Tackle Warehouse online shop so I decided to create an account and place two orders primarily for crankbaits and jerkbaits. The first one received on the expected delivery time with no issues, the second one still waiting and .....a complete disaster!
During the second purchase something happened, maybe a bug in the TW security system, maybe not, but the fact is that my c.card data was stolen! After placing the 2 order, after 2 weeks, I saw a fraudulent transaction in my bank app.
Now, please read really carefully that:
I blocked the c.card and asked to my bank for a refund since the fraud transaction was made in Amazon US and since I never had an A. account I also informed Amazon to check, they confirmed that was a fraud since they found the transaction and the guy or account who made it.
Now, the strange thing begins... the place where the fraud purchase was made (I mean the address where it was made) is the exactly the same address of Tackle Warehouse bank or office, I double checked and verified the two orders I've made and the fraud one, all the 3 ones were made in the same location/address!!! Strange? Maybe TW is owned by Amazon now? They are sharing customers personal infos? After that I tried to contact TW attaching the 3 screenshots of the transactions, asking to check what happened and never said they stolen to me, NEVER asking for a refund. I sent 2 mails just to inform them, maybe a bug in their security payment system, maybe not ...I really don't know, but they NEVER, NEVER answer to me, NEVER! What a disappointing company TW, and they supposed to be the number one and most important web shop for bass tackle in the US or even more.

I heard a lot of good things about this company and i had the worst experience. My experience was soo bad
It got me wondering about the type of people that work their.
I placed 2 orders i cancelled one of them.
(Problem1) They managed to withdraw money from my bank account for the cancelled order and not the order i actually wanted.
(Problem 2They tell me they will ship out the order i wanted yesterday but i call today and now they tell me its on back order and it wont ship till next week
( my advice) work on your online system to make sure tbe orders in stock state ( back order) to eliminate false postings and confusions.
Problem 3- the people on the phone need further training. One lady suggested i email the customer service. I emailed customer service, they called me back but i didnt answer. When i called them back they recommended i send another email about my orders?!?!?!?!
As you can see people their is a lot of unorganized business going on. From my understanding it might have something to do with the new people they hired??? I heard a lot of good things about this place but now i cancelled both of my orders and wouldn’t recommend this business that’s actually a circus. No bueno

Comme cette entreprise mais l'acheteur en garde avant l'envoie qu'il faut ouvrir le paquet avant de l'accepter vous êtes marron. 83`€.60 pour 3 bobines cela fait très cher.C'est du vol.A diffuser sans modération
