School and Trust leaders, along with office teams and administrative staff from HEARTS Academy Trust, recently took part in a full day of CPD delivered by the excellent Simon from Tablet Academy.
The training focused on Copilot and the wider Microsoft AI ecosystem, covering areas such as prompt coaching, agentic AI, and the Teach platform. The insights shared highlighted truly game-changing potential in helping our teams work smarter and more efficiently.
The session was highly engaging, interactive, and thought-provoking, delivered with both deep expertise and a personable approach. It was clear, practical, and immediately relevant to our roles.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to working with Tablet Academy again in the future.

We had an excellent Virtual Reality workshop run by TA for our Natural Disasters experience day. The session was well planned with a range of activities that really helped children deepen their understanding. The VR trip to volcanoes and earthquake-hit areas made the learning memorable and helped them empathise with the scale of devastation. The facilitator was patient, supportive, and brilliant at helping the children feel confident with the technology. Highly recommended!

Collaborating with Tablet Academy was instrumental in getting ready for our Microsoft Showcase school application. They assisted in crafting a training strategy for hundreds of our educators and executed it with utmost professionalism! We are looking forward to partnering with them again next year.

Tablet Academy provided an exceptional day of CPD for teachers, leaders and staff from our 35 schools. The content of the CPD was matched perfectly to our needs. From an initial concept meeting with Mark through to detailed planning meetings with the lead trainers and then on to delivery by the five trainers in venues across our MAT, the Tablet Academy team were knowledgeable, inspiring, creative and incredibly impressive at every stage. The full day face to face Microsoft session we had was brilliant! From the very first call we had to discuss the training, all the way to the day itself was so easy to sort and everything was tailored exactly to our business. Our trainer, Rachel was excellent and she has been happy to answer any questions following the session too. Highly recommend!

Graham was very thorough in his coverage of the agenda points we requested, and his training was very clear. We all came away with a better understanding of excel, with even the experts learning some hints and tips.

Amazing and professional delivery, with excellent feedback across the organisation. Sam delivered sessions at Newham college for both academic and business support staff, training more than 100 people. All of them were extremely enthusiastic about the quality of training, professionalism displayed, excellent knowledge and engaging attitude that Sam demonstrated. By popular demand, we now must have her back to train us and I am sure this is the beginning of a successful collaboration. There is much to learn from someone as experienced as Sam. They ran a really effective and well planned session on accessibility features for SENCOs.

This past term, our school was able to run three Microsoft training workshops with Rachel on OneNote and engagement within the Microsoft 365 suite, and a Copilot launch INSET with Sam, Emma and Ajay on our final day of term.
Both the workshops and INSET were a hit with our staff noting they left sessions with tangible outcomes they could immediately use, and that they connected with the trainers' experiences as educators.
For me, as the organiser of the training, Rachel and Sam were outstanding in providing thorough planning time and follow-up. A large part of this was differentiating for the wide range of abilities within our staff for each platform.
We will certainly be using TA in the future, and in fact are, already this term.

We had a drone workshop at our school for year 8. They loved it. The timing was good, as we had 3 groups, and the level of professionalism was amazing. Thank you. We will definitely book again next year.

The trainers were very knowledgeable and could adapt very quickly to understanding our setting and answer the wide variety of questions colleagues had.

Lego/Drone Workshop

This session was booked for 3 hours for an impact day. Jake and Reece arrived early to make sure everything was set up ready for the students to arrive. The session was well organised and the instructions were very clear for the students. There was plenty of kit to allow for paired work rather than bigger groups. The session was adapted for the needs of our students. Jake and Reece were very approachable and made the sessions fun. The students thoroughly enjoyed the morning. Thank you.

Sam the trainer, was knowledgeable and very clear and patient in the way she explained everything.

We selected the MInecraft workshop for our Enrichment day and students were delighted with the activities. It was well-organised, communication prior to the workshop was detailed and professional and made the running of day very smooth. We used our own devices and had 6 workshops running on each day. We are looking forward to booking again and this time for cyber security.
