Utilised Switalskis Solictors as recommend by Miller homes. Due to the positive feedback and better prices compared to other services; we went with Switalskis and since day one, we were looked after and had our questions answered. They were very insightful and rich full of knowledge regarding what next steps to take and about new built properties. They managed to sort out all the paper work side of things and kept us up to date regarding any other information or documentations that needed actioning. We are really pleased that they looked after us during the stress and happiness of buying a new home and stepping onto the property ladder.

While the service was great, there were times when confusion occurred and struggled to process such information that needed more clarifying. Unfortunately, due to the Government Help to Buy ISA only giving you a bonus money for houses that cost less than 250k (which is arguably with house prices more likely being above this threshold) we weren’t able to claim the Government scheme, losing out on profit and earnings that would have been useful towards the house and the cost of living. Despite this, they did a really good job and are happy with the services they provided.

I cannot recommend Briony Ely from Switalskis highly enough. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. Briony was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire property transaction process; despite other less able and responsive solicitors in the chain.
Every stage was explained clearly, and any questions or concerns were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Her attention to detail gave me complete confidence that everything was being handled correctly, and she consistently kept me updated on progress without me having to chase for information.
What really stood out was her dedication to making what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward, even working out of hours to help. Her expertise, proactive communication, and commitment to client care were exceptional. Thanks to her hard work and professionalism, our transaction was completed successfully.
