I went to Surge Bikes with a view of looking into upgrading my e-bike. I had good communication from Matt prior to my visit and he was very knowledgeable about the recommendations that would suit my needs. A number of bikes were available for me to try. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole operation was very professional. I made a purchase and the bike was delivered to me ready to use later the same day. Having decided I wanted to purchase a e-cargo bike as a car replacement for my wife & myself to share; we were provided advice on options based on our intended needs with ‘no pressure’ to buy. Importantly, we were advised to both test ride various demo models to check suitability. My wife wasn’t initially as confident as I was, but never felt under any pressure. In fact, we were encouraged to wait for a slightly smaller model to tryout - which we did, and was absolutely the right choice for both of us…. the specification knowledge and personal ride-experience provided by the demonstrator at Surge Bikes was excellent and really helped us to make an informed decision about a important ‘life-changing’ purchase. I bought my first eMTB from them - Orbea Rise m20. It's always stressful making such an expensive purchase. By the end of the in-store process, which involved lots of decision making and coffee drinking, I felt like they were friends. When I collected the bike a few weeks later, they spent time helping get it set-up and made sure I was totally happy before I left. I even gave them option of potential upgrades, which they told me I probably didn't need - not many companies as honest as that! Couldn't recommend higher.

I had done some research on e bikes and had an idea of what I wanted. As soon I made contact with Surge bikes, they were very informative and knowledgeable. As soon I visited the shop, I knew I had come to the right place. All the staff were friendly and at no time did I think I was rushed. I placed an order 2 days which went very smoothly. Delivery was exactly like the website stated, plenty of packaging and everything as described.

Patience is what was needed for my order!
I realised that despite all Surge Bikes was doing regarding my order, I had to wait for it to arrive from Spain.
So they were patient with me ringing each month to see how the order was coming along.
A great company to deal with. The packing of my bike was second to none. It came on a pallet with secure packing, delivered by a friendly guy.
