I have been ordering from Pinetree Garden Seeds for years, and appreciate the great selection, prices, and friendly voice on the phone when I call with a question. Shipping is prompt, especially if you get your order in BEFORE planting season!

They are my favorite seed vendor. I have used Pinetree for many years and have recommended them to my friends. I love the smaller seed packets which give me an opportunity to try more varieties.

The quality is excellent, just the right amount of seeds for the home gardener and the prices are reasonable. I especially like the broccoli, cabbage, lettuce mixes. The seeds arrive "untreated" and I use them for micro greens in the winter with confidence. It is the only place I can find my "best of show" sunflowers!

Most of your garden seeds are germinated and growing healthy in my small back yard gardening. I would give you a 5 stars, but few of seeds (Watercress)didn't germinated.
All my herbs are thriving in my garden and harvested bunch of them for winter cooking and Petunia(red, white, purple) looks awesome in my giant tub container at front yard.

I have always had a good experience with Pinetree Garden Seeds. I love the ever-expanding selection of seeds available and am happy to see old, familiar varieties that I've come to love remain in your collection.

My only "surprise" came from growing banana peppers from your seeds one year. Though they were supposed to be sweet with a bit of peppery taste, most (though not all!) were nearly as hot as habañeros! I simply used them as I would hot peppers.

Service is very good, ordering on line is simple and the information on each variety is helpful.

I love the selection of varieties Pinetree supplies for all their vegetables and herbs. They provide more unique varieties than most other companies and their diversity isn't reliant on a bunch of hybrids either: many are open-pollinated. I was very happy to have found Pinetree and now consider it my primary source for seeds. I like that their seed packets are straightforward, (20 seeds for $1.50) instead of listed as 3oz for $5.55, for example, as you find in other catalogs. You know what you are getting right off the bat. My order arrived in two shipments, and my invoice was very well marked so I knew what would be arriving at a later date. I am very happy with my purchase from Pinetree and expect to always reach for their catalog first from here on out. Thank you!

Pinetree Seeds is a good company, they ship fast. One thing I like about them is not having to purchase large quantities, so many times seed companies will offer only large quantities, I mean, who needs enough lettuce to plant a 1/4 acre? Mt garden is large enough but I only have two ocra plants. Many seed stores have 600 seeds as the smallest quantity. They are easy to deal with and send out a nice catalog with growing information included. When looking up seeds you can use the number or search by type or name.

I receive many, many seed catalogs in winter. I review them all, make lists, and dream of the coming summer. What I have found, year after year, is that the only catalog I end up ordering out of is Pinetree. I guess they just have the best prices and selection out there.

I have used this company for many years now with excellent results. The orders have been timely and correct and they let me know if there are seeds they are out of and if asked,will offer substitutes.
One nice thing is the seeds are packaged for home gardens. If you don't need a hundred seeds of something this is a company that packaged your seeds in a reasonable amount for small plot gardens.
I've also had growing success. I live in a State with a extremely variable growing season. They offer seeds for short growing seasons. They also offer a wide variety of vegetables.

Love being able to purchase small quantities so don't have to save seed so for next year; had problem past year when I was ready to plant and you were snowbound and couldn't ship

I discovered Pinetree a few years ago, after I got fed up with the prices and exorbitant shipping charges at the other organic/heritage seed company in Maine. Why should it cost $4 to ship one $3.95 envelope of seeds from Albion to Eastport? Pinetree's service is quick, dependable, and reasonably priced. I have found several favorite seed varieties, including the best tomatoes I have ever grown (Climbing Triple Crop). Pinetree has become my go-to source for seeds.

I love that they are in Maine, so I know everything I buy will grow here! Never had a bad experience. This year my order took, I think, a week or two. Totally reasonable, but they sent me a coupon since it was so "late!"
