Saw a big sandwich board sign outside the winter gardens Blackpool branch advertising a new plant based ‘meat’ sub . Went in to order it. ‘We don’t do that here. The one down the road does’ went down the road. ‘ we don’t do that here, they only do it where there is a high demand for halal ‘ wtf? Why advertise something you don’t do and why the weird illogical condition ?

Visited here with my family today, the restaurant was empty (after this service I can understand why). We ordered our sandwiches and felt rushed (as always!) came to adding salad and my husband asked for onions she said there was none ?and asked for a small amount of sweet onion sauce, well she drowned the sandwich in it. When my husband questioned her about this she mumbled something about this is how we do it? Surely it’s the customers choice of what quantity you want?
We requested meal deals each and we were waiting for our cups for the drinks machine but she rudely told us to get bottled drinks (which we didn’t want), usually you would be asked which option you wanted but we were not given a choice.
We sat down to eat and when my husband opened his sandwich it was dripping, totally inedible, I wouldn’t give it to my dog it was so disgusting, for €25 no thank you!
We went back to the counter and requested a refund which we were given, she told us to ”put the drinks back in the fridge” I was so angry I told her no I would not! - I have never ever had such bad customer service in all my life the woman was beyond rude and so argumentative. Sorry Subway but you have lost a customer here and like I say can understand why the place was empty if that is the quality of staff you are employing, very disappointing.

Zeel, always has excellent customer service and a warm approach. As a driver it is always a pleasure to be greeted by Zeel! :)

I went to the Subway in Navan and was met with a less-than-friendly staff member. I asked for gluten-free bread and requested the longest one or the biggest one she had, doing so with a smile. She looked at me like I was stupid and barked, "6 inch or foot?" I replied, "I guess the foot, since it's the biggest one."

It was clear I was annoying her by asking for anything. I remained calm and polite. She just stood there looking at me, so I continued to try to place my order. She then told me she would have to go get the bread from the back, and I said, "That's okay."

When she came back, she threw my bread onto a dirty board and asked what I wanted. I said I would like the garlic cheese steak sub for the second time—please forgive my spelling. She then bluntly told me that she had no gluten-free food to go with the sub and that everything contained gluten, stating it was not her fault.

I asked her if tomatoes were gluten-free, etc., as they are with her voicing no, everything has gluten. I asked why sell the bread, she said it was not her business, and she started laughing at me. I aked why are you laughing at me. Frustrated, I left, as I was fuming to say the least. Her personality was incredibly unpleasant, and laughing while not serving me made for the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I will be looking into this further.

Went to Subway Trim with my grandson and tried to order the €4.50 special (half sub, drink, cookie). The server struggled to say what we could have, and when my grandson ordered charged us €9.20. I complained but he did noy care. Poor service and false advertising. Pity, as the product is fine.

I visited subway Celbridge Kildare. I had a couple of vouchers. First one free cookies. Unfortunately no cookies. Second 2€ off a spud sub. Unfortunately no Spuds. Third 3€ off foot long. The cashier scam it I paid then realised he didn't scan. He said technical issues and unfortunately can't refund the 3€. Not the first time issues here.

Just went into Subway in Shannon,got 2 subs with 2 fillings and got charged €24!!!!!!!

Would like to leave a very positive feedback for 2 young employees who dealt with a very small order issue. I made an order online using Subway App, for the collection from the Subway on Main Street in Wexford. When came into the store it turned out that my order hasn`t been acknowledged, as there is a Fleadh festival in Wexford with most streets closed for cars, so online orders were being accepted. I spoken to the young, very pleasant man who apologised, explained the reason for not having my order ready and promised to promptly start on making up to me. Took a screenshot of my order and without hesitation started preparing my two subs. I didn`t have to wait long at all, all was handled with the highest standards, kindness and politeness. I was updated on the time when my order was ready, while I was waiting. Could not wish for better service. The subs were tasty and I will be back definitely for another pleasant experience. Thank you.

Subway, Trim,poor customer service, willing to pay extra for what's on offer,but no flexibility, customer service, joy or enthusiasm, had to walk out without food.Reading other reviews, with similar experiences, do the Franchises train staff?

Ik stond in de subway er kwam een man van de gemeente hij heet jesse en hij wou graag koekjes kopen ik zei niet voordringen maar hij ging door met voordringen en ik zei doe ff normaal hij zetg ga mee naar de wc en dan krijg je wat in je ik ben snel weggerend en die man kwam later bij mijn huis ik won der vlakbij en hij ging mij condooms geven niet normaal.

I’m so angry I ordered chicken. I got ham and turkey the employees are horrible I would not recommend getting a subway it’s a common thing that the employees are bad I have an allergy to bad food and bad severe I will not be back lost your self a customer 😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

Horrible experience. Fermoy Subway, Moore Park, Ireland. Soggy food with tast of rotten eggs. Rude costumer service, from staff and management from circleK, that shouldn't be legally running the all the sublets in their petrol stations. Misleading publicity of refill , that ignorant manager turned off.

Young man in Newry road subway is excellent at what he does Daniel I think his name is. Any time I've been here he's always been professional and polite and the sandwich is always done perfectly.

Was in subway Newry rd dundalk this morning was getting a subway melt but wanted to change bread before he even started making it he rudely told me he couldn't do it then ask to make the same in the bread I wanted and he wouldn't so just said ill go else where and he wasn't to bothered he shouldn't be working there I'll never buy another subway again

Took my family to subway on Saturday for a treat in wexford main street the minute we entered the staff were rude when we were starting to order the girl that was at the till kept shouting at us were all paying together they only had one kind of bread the drinks or ice machines didn't work and when I came to pay she kept shouting at me and staring it was very expensive 2 footlongs and 2x 6 inch meals were thirty five euro I watched more customers come in but she never shouted or treated them with same disrespect we were treated with i
have always been loyal subway costumer but I can say never again will.enter a subway after today

In Portlaoise center in Ireland there is always same Indian men working there and he is extremely rude with anyone, and closes 30 min early always. Last time I asked for bread with seeds as per menu , he was so rude and instead of explaining that they don’t have it, he agitated said exactly: go away, next one… honestly I’m in tears but also want to sue him at the same time. First time ever for me that a crazy worker treated me so badly. He should be fire immediately!

Come here almost everyday and it's just getting more and more expensive and very little ingredients are used on the roll. Nearly 12e for footlong without a meal avoid this one it's much better value in bawnogue.

Made a complaint at beginning of September 2024. As of 1 month later Subway have ignored me. I have had to follow up via social media multiple times, but have received no response via email.

Shocking in-store experience followed by horrendous customer service.

For the longest time, we were promised a better rewards app after our points would be nullified. But instead, they just released the same exact system, but making it literally twice as expensive to earn loyalty points.

Still love the sandwiches though
