Really happy with the service we received from Strata. Their teams were excellent. Very well oiled machine. They were friendly and professional and have done a beautiful job. They helped us with get the grant funding arranged to cover the insulation. They have also accommodated our special request to fit timbers under the render to eventually attach a veranda to. They weren’t really local to us but were happy to travel and I chose them from a list of Trustmark rated companies that could be used to get the eco grant mainly due to their experience and professionalism.

I used Strata to carry out external insulation on the gable wall of our house in May this year.

Strata removed my existing render, added external insulation and re-rendered - the house is transformed and the finish on the render is fantastic. The team that worked on my house were friendly and attentive. Ian (project manager) was brilliant from start to finish. He was always available via phone, email or text to answer my many questions (even before the work was confirmed), and kept in regular contact to give updates and check I was happy with everything. As with any project of this size, there were some minor mishaps along the way, but Ian ensured everything was rectified - he clearly takes pride in customer service and, for me, that's what makes Strata stand out. Looking forward to a far cosier winter in our 'new' house.

Strata have been working on my house for the last few days insulating and painting it, and they have done an incredibly good job. The whole team are very professional and so fast! The house now looks amazing.

We just had external insulation put on our house by Strata. The finish on our house is great, and the house is much warmer inside. We used to have to keep the heating on all the time and wear two jumpers to be warm. Now we are wearing t-shirts with the heating off. It's a great improvement.

I am a builder and have recently completed a bungalow extension in bar hil. I was looking for a company to do the rendering on the extension and existing property and my brother who is also a builder recommended strata. I found strata to be incredibly helpful from start to finish. Ian from strata was particularly helpful and made sure all the timings fitted in with my projects needs. My customer who owned the house was very impressed with the friendly tradesmen and how tidy they were. The finish on the rendering was fantastic. Strata insulated our four-bedroom house quickly, with minimum disruption, and under good management supervision. Most importantly the result has been amazing, particularly during this recent cold weather. The house is so much warmer and more comfortable. And the sharpness of the render and paint work has transformed the look of the property. Greatly appreciated the friendly service of this family company. Not cheap but well worth the money. I highly recommend.

We had silicone render applied last September. It is a fantastic finish and we are really pleased with it. Simon was very helpful and the teams that completed the work were very polite and efficient. We would not hesitate in using Strata again.

Someone recommended Simon when I was looking for someone to insulate and render the back wall of my son's house having been let down at the last minute by the previous chap. Simon did his best to accommodate us as we had a deadline to have the work finished by a certain date - the end result is fantastic.
As other reviews have stated Simon is an excellent project manager, we were kept informed the whole time as to what would happen when, it was all very efficient. Simon has various teams but our team of Ian, Dean, Matt and Jim were friendly, helpful and did a great job. A huge 'Thank you' to you all, including the chaps who came to put up the scaffolding at the beginning and end of the job.
Having heard the problems we had encountered over the previous 18 months, Simon said he wanted us to know there were reliable trades people around, Simon proved that this was the case. I can't recommend Simon and his team highly enough.

We decided to use this company after we saw the excellent job they did on a house in our street. We were not disapointed. We had a wall our house insulated the job was completed in a timely fashion and to a high standard.The living room feels much warmer already. Simon is an excellent project manager with good communication skills and we felt valued and well informed at every stage of the work. Simon and his team insulated the front of my house. I am very happy with the result. It's much warmer inside and it looks great on the outside of the house. The team worked quickly and were nice and polite and Simon kept me updated all the time. If I would need any more work done I wouldn't hesitate to use Strata. I give them five stars.

Simon was very communicative right from the start of the process and kept us updated on timelines, which were all met. The quality of the work is extremely high, an excellent finish to the render - it looks amazing! And of course, the main thing, the external wall insulation really does make a noticeable difference. Our north facing front room was like a fridge on cold days, now it is warm like the rest of the house. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Strata.

Thank you for your hard work we really appreciate your help for what you have done for us. Our house is so very warm now for so long without having to put the heating on for several hours. We noticed that one hour or two is enough to keep our house warm all day!
At the moment the weather is not extremely cold but the mornings are just a bit chilly!
Still it is marvellous how it remains warm all day after heating the house for a short time!

Having asked for a quote from Simon early in 2021 for silicone render, we contacted him again late Summer after we were let down by a company that had persuaded us that monocouche render was better. Simon was able to juggle their work load and managed to fit us in for a whole house silicone render and we cannot be more pleased or recommend Strata enough - the communication from Simon is superb with genuine start dates and constant updates as to the project process, stages and dates. The whole process was efficient and the finish is wonderful. All of the team, including subcontractors (scaffolders, etc) were honest and reliable, and nothing was too much for Matt and his fine detail to the finishing. We found their pricing to be fair and justified, and immediately received the guarantee paperwork on completion. I would highly recommend
