Dear Nutmeg,
We genuinely regret to hear that your recent experience with StoryTerrace has not met your expectations. We appreciate your frustration and apologise for any distress caused during the process.
For clarity, StoryTerrace books are created through a human-led process involving professional writers and editors who conduct interviews, shape the narrative, review drafts, and refine the manuscript. We do also utilise generative technology as a supporting production tool at certain stages, including outlining, drafting support, and content refinement. This technology is intended to assist our writers rather than replace them.
However, our goal is to ensure all clients receive books that meet their expectations. We will reach out to you separately to understand the details of your experience and provide a resolution that suits your needs.
Warm regards,
StoryTerrace
Wonderful experience
Decided to write my book with references to the diaries I had been keeping for almost 60 years. Anne-Louise understood exactly what my remit was and I wanted to make my memory book light hearted amusing and maybe a bit emotional too. I love my book and the feedback I’ve had from family & friends has all been fabulous. I really enjoyed my “meetings “ with Anne-Louise and can’t thank her and the team enough.

We truly appreciate you trusting us with your journey and allowing us to help bring together almost 60 years of diaries into a beautifully crafted memory book. Stories like yours are exactly why we do what we do, they deserve to be told with care, understanding, and heart.
We’re delighted that Anne-Louise was able to understand your vision so clearly and support you in shaping a book that reflects exactly what you wanted: light-hearted, amusing, and with those more emotional moments woven in too. Your kind words regarding her professionalism and dedication are deeply appreciated, and we’re thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed your meetings with her.
We take great pride in carefully matching our clients with perfectly suited writers and guiding them through every stage of the process. Ensuring a personalised and supported storytelling experience is at the heart of what we do, and it’s wonderful to know this came through in your journey.

I am very disappointed with Story…
I am very disappointed with Story Terrace. It started out great. My interviewer was great but when it came to actually putting the book together, it seems like everything I said in the interview was how the editor put on paper no correcting no editing. No nothing I expected so much more, I ended up rewriting the book myself, sent the draft over to the editor and she uploaded into Story Terrace so, I wrote my own book. Now asking for another book to be written that there’re expense. If not I will take them to court!

Dear Serena,
We regret to hear that your experience with StoryTerrace has been negative, and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
We acknowledge your dissatisfaction with the manuscript and wanted to provide some clarity. As part of our process, we work with our customers through revision rounds to refine the manuscript until it meets their expectations. This option was available as part of your package.
We completely respect your decision to write the book independently and recognise the time and effort you invested in bringing your story to life.
This is not the experience we aim to provide, and we take your concerns seriously. We will be reaching out to you separately to discuss your experience further and find a resolution.

This company is a complete sham
This company is a complete sham. I bought the most expensive package at almost $20,000 and within days realized what a sham the company was and asked to cancel and get a refund. Denied. It is now 5 years later and I still don’t have my books. I had the company investigated by private detectives and lawyer firms in the US and Uk. The company is a totally sham. Do not do business with them in any capacity.

A Thoughtful and Well-Structured Journey to Telling My Story
Story Terrace did an excellent job helping write a book about me. What stood out most was how structured and thoughtful their process was from beginning to end. One aspect I especially appreciated was the opportunity to speak with a few different authors before making a final choice. That step made a real difference because it allowed me to select someone whose thinking, communication style, and cultural understanding felt closely aligned with mine.
This careful matching process created a strong foundation for the project and gave me confidence from the start. It made the collaboration feel natural and productive, while also ensuring that my story was captured in a way that felt authentic and meaningful. Throughout the journey, the team was professional, organized, and supportive, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, their structured approach, combined with the flexibility to choose the right author, played a major role in delivering a high-quality final product. I am very pleased with the experience and would gladly recommend Story Terrace to anyone looking for a thoughtful and personalized way to bring an important story to life.

gift of a lifetime
Wanting to make our parents’ wedding anniversary as memorable as possible, my sister and I decided to give them something truly personal — their very own biographies, bound together in a single hardback book.
What better way for future generations to understand where they came from, and the journey that shaped our family?
A biography isn’t just for the rich and famous. We felt it was a beautiful way to celebrate our parents, their lives, and the legacy they have created.
From start to finish, the entire experience with StoryTerrace was easy, professional and incredibly friendly.
This gift will last a lifetime. The memories will last forever.
