This review reflects my personal experience with the StoryShort.ai affiliate program.
I joined the affiliate program in December 2024 and actively promoted the platform. According to my affiliate dashboard, I generated 38 conversions and earned a total of $1,254.96 in commissions.
As of today:
• $200.34 remains unpaid
• $1,054.62 was marked as paid but was later reversed/returned
• I have not received any successful commission payment
Over the past months, I have contacted the team multiple times seeking assistance and clarification regarding the returned payment. Unfortunately, communication has been very limited, and the issue remains unresolved.
I am sharing this experience so that other affiliates can make informed decisions. I sincerely hope StoryShort.ai will review this matter, improve communication with affiliates, and resolve outstanding payment issues fairly.
If the situation is resolved, I will gladly update this review.

Extremely disappointed with StoryShort.ai. The product does not deliver what's advertised — video quality is poor and doesn't match the examples shown on their site, and generation times are far longer than promised, often taking ages to produce a single video.
Worse, when I tried to reach out about these issues, I got no response at all. No reply to support emails, no way to raise a complaint, and no path to a refund. I've since cancelled my subscription, but given the lack of any communication, I have little confidence this will be handled properly.
If they attempt to charge me again after cancellation, I'll be back to update this review accordingly.

I don't understand why the website has over 10K traffic every month, it's just a simple shelling tools and a middleman, anyone can use nano banana & GPT 5.5 and free capcat to generate ai videos, but this tool just simply combine together to attract lazy people. I just don't understand why there are so many stupid and lazy people...

The tool is absolutely horrible. The idea is amazing, the logic makes a lot of sense - "AI for videos, with added automation on top", however the execution is so bad, makes me think majority of customers would leave the platform after a couple of days of trying it.

Support = non-existent, I have reached out multiple times and have received 0 answers back (mind you I am on influencer plan, so paying $130 per month).

Quality of the output = good as long as the platform works, which is roughly 40-50% of the times, the rest of cases something breaks and the output audio / video becomes useless. So it's a cycle of things not working and then you trying to reach out to support and then not getting an answer.

Absolute scam!

You pay for 40 videos per month (then credits for more and a series of videos... so way more than 40 in total), they tell you if you create videos, you can't create 40 videos per month because you were supposed to create images??? -actual answer from their support

WARNING DO NOT USE THESE FRAUDSTERS!! I tried to cancel my subscription TO STORYSHORT AI, 2 Weeks before via Live chat and website content absolutely zero response. They still kept charging me so I had to get the bank to intervene. So they issued a chargeback on my behalf. I've all the evidence. Guess what as soon as there was money involved they quickly contested the chargeback oh yeah. WARNING keep playing STORYSHORT ai and I'll put you on blast all over the media..Try me!

একটা শান্ত গ্রামে ছিল পুরনো একটা কবরস্থান। গ্রামের মানুষজন দিনমজুরি, কৃষিকাজ করে জীবন চালাত। দিনে সবকিছুই স্বাভাবিক থাকত, কিন্তু রাত নামলেই ভয় আর আতঙ্ক নেমে আসত।

কারণ, ওই কবরস্থানের পাশ দিয়ে গেলেই শোনা যেত এক মহিলার করুণ চিৎকার। মাঝরাতে হঠাৎ যেন কেউ বুক ফাটানো কান্না করছে—"আহ্… বাঁচাও!"—এই শব্দে গ্রাম কেঁপে উঠত।

প্রথমে গ্রামের মানুষ ভেবেছিল, এটা হয়তো কারও মায়ের কান্না, অথবা কোনো দুঃখিনী মহিলার আত্মা সেখানে আটকে আছে। অনেক সাহসী যুবক রাতে যাচাই করতে গিয়েছিল, কিন্তু প্রত্যেকেই ফিরে এসে কেবল বলেছিল—
“আমরা দেখিনি কাউকে, শুধু শুনেছি কান্না আর চিৎকার।”

একদিন গ্রামের এক বুড়ো আলেম সাহেব বললেন,
“যেখানে আল্লাহর নাম নেই, সেখানে জিন-শয়তান খেলা করে। ওই কবরস্থানে হয়তো জিন বসবাস করছে।”

তারপর গ্রামের মানুষ মিলে সেখানে কোরআন খতম করল, আযান দিল, দোয়া করল। আশ্চর্যজনকভাবে সেই রাতের পর আর কোনো চিৎকার শোনা গেল না।

কিন্তু এখনো অনেক বৃদ্ধ বলে—
“চাঁদের আলোয় যখন বাতাস নিস্তব্ধ হয়, তখনো কবরস্থান থেকে ভেসে আসে হালকা গোঙানির শব্দ…”

Disappointing Experience with StoryShort.AI

I had high hopes for StoryShort.AI, but unfortunately, it hasn’t met expectations. The support team is unresponsive, making it difficult to resolve issues or get any assistance. Additionally, I’ve faced multiple copyright issues when trying to upload the generated videos to YouTube.

Given these challenges, I would not recommend StoryShort.AI to anyone looking for a reliable video creation tool. The service fails to deliver on promises and is not worth the investment.

It doesn't worth it. Images doesn't match the words. It takes more credits to change each image. Bad customer service
