Terrible, don't spend your money on this
Happy about the fact that I could get one of my favorite soundtracks on vinyl. This is where the positives stop. My order took forever to ship (more than a year), but it finally arrived and man, what a disappointment. The vinyls were completely unprotected and covered in all kind of debris. The cover itself is made from super flimsy, thin cardboard, nothing about this justified the price. Not buying here again.
Complete rip-off
Paid for a pre-order of a deluxe edition for Psychonauts 2. Supposed to ship early in 2023 but was pushed back to Q2, now that Q2 is over they pushed it back to Q3, I'm absolutely sure they are just kicking the can down the road in the hopes that I will forget and move on.

TERRIBLE...CAN'T EVEN GET THE BASICS RIGHT
I came across iam8bit.com and signed up for their newsletter via SMS, for which the site said I would receive a 10% discount code. The code never arrived, so I e-mailed customer services and had a quick response, giving me a code. However, when I went to order three Nintendo Switch games, the code didn't work, so I e-mailed customer services again. An agent replied and said that their supervisor had been copied in, so that the matter could be resolved. Several days later, I still hadn't heard anything, so sent them another e-mail. The same agent then replied (totally oblivious to the original e-mail chain which was included in my new e-mail) and gave me the original code that DID NOT WORK !! Honestly, if this company can't get a couple of basic and simple things right, then I seriously don't trust them to fulfill an order...or with my hard-earned money !!

Ordered stray from this company. Took forever to be shipped and when it did, it was stolen by the courier. I had shipping insurance but due to customer support assuring me it was merely delayed, I waited for a month. Now I’m told by the insurer that my claim falls outside of the compensation window. Neither company accepts liability and the customer has to pick up the bill. I feel utterly defeated

I have NEVER preordered an item and been charged immediately for products that never shipped. Ordered LE cuphead set in the beginning of OCTOBER 2022! It is the end of February 2023, they have over $200, I have nothing. This company is a FRAUD!!! They are scammers.
questionable with abysmal customer support
Tried to order the Disco Elysium CE. Shipping and taxes are outrageously high, which is not necessarily their fault, but then they also state that they send the package without tracking and if gets lost or damage, you're not eligible for any kind of reimbursement. You can choose to pay 7$ extra for tracking and insurance, but that not being baseline for international shipping is extremely customer-unfriendly. Especially regarding the overpriced items they are selling.
Tried to order it, got the order confirmation. Immediately after I got an email that the order was cancelled. Reached out to their customer support, they reply it's from their automated system. Fair enough. But now I still have the 380$ marked as "reserved" on my credit card statement, despite the order being cancelled.
Customer support is ignoring my inquiries, tried to cancel the order via Amazon Pay which I used for the transaction. Got an email from Amazon saying they could not reach the vendor under the email listed on Amazon.
Extremely sketchy and customer unfriendly, if you need anything from customer support you're straight out of luck.
Wish I had seen the reviews for the store earlier. Avoid at all costs.
I ordered Spiritfarer
I ordered Spiritfarer: Collector's Edition in Q4 2021. I got an email saying it was delayed until Q1 2022, ok fine. Then an email saying Q4 2022. It is currently 12/12/22 and I just received another email saying delivery now expected Q1 2023. Pretty resigned to never seeing my purchase. Customer care is non-existent. I will never order from them again and will make sure none of my friends do either. Just tell me you scammed me and get it over with.

After placing an order on November 21st for the Stray Collectors Edition, I emailed customer support asking if they were meeting production deadlines/would be shipped on time. I asked this because of the large amount of negative reviews online saying their products are often delayed.
I was told they do not communicate with the production company and could not tell me if they were likely to ship in time.
A week later on November 30th I got an email saying they were ready and would soon ship... six days later my bank notifies me of a reund from Iam8bit... No email/contact from them, just cancelled my preorder after it was ready to ship. Have heard nothing from customer service. Very unhappy to miss out on this limited collectors edition because Iam8bit decided they wanted to cancel my order without ever notifying me.
Do yourself a favor and read a few reviews before you buy from them, you won't find anything positive. I should've saved myself the trouble and never ordered.
I Ordered Ori (collectors Edition)
I Ordered Ori (Collectors Edition). I got the item pretty fast. The item came in perfect condition. I recommend buying from them. I have seen a lot of reviews of how an order can take awhile to receive or negative reviews about customer service. I have yet to experience that. The only customer service I experienced was them telling me that my pre-order of Stray had to be put on back order. They did however give me the option to cancel my order but I chose to keep it as a back order. I'm sure I will not be disappointed. I will continue to buy from them as they have had some incredible collector editions that you can only get from them or pay a ridiculous amout through scalpers.

I have been waiting for a game for 4 months and iam8bit does not return my money, I do not recommend anyone to buy with them.

I have been trying to purchase the Grim Fandango from their site for either the Nintendo Switch or the PS4. Every time (have tried this now 5 different times) I fill in the info (address & shipping info, card#) and proceed to try and purchase the game. I get an error message that my postal zip code doesn't match my billing address. Contacting customer service has been a waste. They claim it's an issue with my bank? I tried 3 different cards and they all caused the same error message. Those same cards work just fine on any other website. Customer service just kept saying it was an issue on my end then they just stopped replying. After reading several of the other reviews regarding this company I am now counting myself lucky the payments didn't go through. The whole thing seems shady.
Horrible FOMO practices, lying on pre-orders
Ridiculous. Persona box set went from open pre-orders to a free for all haven for scalpers on the last day. You would think for a $400 box set, they would have a better system to communicate this.
Instead, its a random tweet that suddenly changes their pre-order promise. And with a disgusting 1-2 year lead time, iam8bit proves AGAIN why they are the worst company for Videogame Vinyl.
This company is only good for taking your money years in advance, and then going silent until they get their asses out of their heads to deliver their product. (which frankly, is overpriced and doesnt sound great)

I bought the Ori collector's edition since I really love Ori and wanted to support the creators... but buying off of Iam8bit was one of the biggest regrets of my life. The first red flag is when I emailed support with questions and never got a reply. Then shipping was delayed for ages but when I finally received it the contents were way more disappointing than I expected. The included will of the wisps soundtrack download had no metadata and was much quieter than the blind forest soundtrack for some reason.. I would have been better off buying off of bandcamp and getting the FLAC downloads as well. The worst part is that the 'collectible' game covers were ruined by me just putting the games back in the case. All this for a $150 product (almost $200 including shipping)
2 stars only because the product arrived in one piece. Really no other redeeming factors. Not planning on buying anything else from them again
Might as well be a scam
As others have said here, they frequently (and silently) push back shipping dates on products, in my case nearly a year (so far.) Customer service is almost non-existent : always late, unapologetic, and either lying or very uninformed.
Even products that were 'shipping soon' suddenly got pushed out, and if I hadn't checked the product page I wouldn't have ever known. No sign of them yet.
I'm $300 in the pit and a year of waiting later the only recourse I have is to take it up with my bank. Incredibly disappointed. Don't make my mistake.
Do Not Even THINK About It
Absolutely the worst online store I've ever done business with, hands down. I will never, ever be tricked into buying something from them again, no matter how exclusive it is. This company deserves to be out of business. Abysmal customer service, support emails that go nowhere, incorrect information on email receipts, flat out lying about shipping dates and silent edits to their web page to disguise things, demeaning responses from customer service when you do get them, terrible and slow shipping, damaged products, and the whole time they don't seem to care one bit. I would rate them zero stars if I could.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs! Their customer service is non existent. I messaged them on various platforms, they messaged me back after 14 days and now it’s been five days since I replied and haven’t got a response. This company deserves no support if this is how they treat their customers.
