Fragile rosary not for daily use

I purchased a saint carlo acutis rosary and this is a very fragile rosary. It has tangled and came apart multiple times. This is not a rosary you can carry in a case or pocket for daily use. I would stay away unless you want for decoration

I woudn't recommend this company

I woudn't recommend this company. I bought a pricey rosary and the chain broke literally the second time I took it out of the box. I managed to fix it myself but again the same problem persists after a couple of more uses. For reference, I always carefully store my rosaries and handle them with care. The crucifix feels cheap but the beads and the center piece are beautiful. Wouldn't purchase again.

I definitely don't recommend the company or the product.

In December, I received a rosary from my wife for my birthday. The sales service was okay, but after a few months of wearing it, the rosary became worn and the cross fell off...

Very poor quality. I emailed them asking for help and acknowledging my complaint, but unfortunately, no one responded.

I don't recommend it.
The service is outrageous.

Irritating

I feel a little guilty giving a Christian/Catholic company a bad review, but here we are. Sometimes entities need a little wake-up call in order excel at customer service. I work in a bank and have for 12 years. I know what that is. Ghirelli lacks, even when I offer apologies for things I shouldn't be sorry for...like emailing to get status updates when none are given. Good customer service is a sun-up to sun-down response time. You always reach out before sundown (end of business) of the next day following the request.

To make a long story short, I'm still waiting for complete order fulfillment 11 calendar days after I placed an order. I've suggested solutions, alternate products, asked them to ship in-stock items separately, to which they acquiesced, but only offered on my inquiry to if it was even possible. But the crux of the issue is I don't know if they're drop shipping from Italy, but there seems to be a disconnect between the website, the USA office, and the fulfillment warehouse, and perhaps the parent offices in Italy. The whole company has a communications issue it seems.

I ordered two different Rosalets and when I didn't get any kind of order and shipping confirmation (after their promise of 48 hours following order placement - but usually same day on in-stock items), I emailed. Rodrigo replied and said he'd check and see where the order was at. After another day, and no reply, I asked if there was an update. He said "it was just discovered that one was out of stock even though Shopify said it was and we're working to get this fixed" Throughout this process, Shopify has never said my particular Rosalet was out of stock. I've checked. Not the point, but I'm not 100% confident of his answer.

Anyway, he said he'd check with Italy and see when another shipment would arrive. I've never gotten an answer on that, and I did wait a full 24 hours to ask if he had gotten a reply, to which he said it could take 48 (yes I know there's a time difference, but this is even taking that into consideration). E-mail is instant, by the way, but whatever. I really don't know what there is to figure out. Either you have stock coming or you don't. Or, at the very least, you work hard to correct the issue. Heck, ship me one from Italy direct.

So I offered "Hey, there's the exact same Rosalet, but with the Traditional crucifix as opposed to the Modern. Same size and it shows as in stock. Can you just ship that one?" To which he replied yes, they could, but the fulfillment center was closed and would ship the following day, today. As of business close, I still have not gotten a shipment email.

At no point did I feel like I wasn't pulling teeth to get simple bits of information. I practically had to problem solve issues myself, and I STILL don't have complete resolution. I ultimately do want these Rosalets which is primarily why I haven't gone to PayPal and put in a dispute. One is on the way and part of my anniversary gift to my wife and even that one is arriving much later than needed as the order was inexplicably tied up for days before I asked if they could just ship the in-stock one.

This entire process has been one big headache and I WANT to support them, I just feel like after this experience, I don't think I'll be able to unless things change drastically. I am saddened by this immensely. And now I still have to email customer service to figure out why my Rosalet didn't ship. Fun.

Quality but Customer Service Lacking

I’ll be honest—the Rosalet is a beautiful piece. But is it worth the price? I’m not entirely convinced.
The biggest disappointment, however, is the customer service. Before placing my order, I reached out to ask if the traditional crucifix could be added, as I had seen in other reviews. I was told they would get back to me within 24 hours after speaking with their team. After 48 hours with no response, I followed up but never received an answer.
I decided to take a chance and placed my order, leaving a note in the order requesting the traditional crucifix. Unfortunately, when it arrived today, it had the modern one instead.
At the very least, I should have been informed before shipment whether my request was possible. Given this experience, I’ll likely be returning the Rosalet.

**UPDATE**
I was initially hopeful when the owner of Ghirelli, Alessandro, personally reached out to me after my negative review and assured me that fixing my Rosalet would be their top priority. I sent it back in February as instructed. However, by April 29th, I still had not received the corrected product. Communication with customer service, particularly Rodrigo, was still extremely poor. I often had to send multiple follow-up emails just to get a vague response days later, with no clear update or shipping information. Ultimately, I had to file a claim with my credit card company in order to receive a refund. Very disappointing experience.

Also, Ghirelli uses Judge.me to hide negative reviews on their website. Just FYI.

Disappointed

I got the chrome finish Ghirelli x Germoglio crucifix. The shipping was very fast and I immediately fell in love with the beauty and craftsmanship. I wore my crucifix the very next day, and found a very big problem. The tiny nails used to attach the corpus to the cross are not flush with the piece, causing them to way too frequently catch on clothing or anything else I may be carrying. Two days with my crucifix and I was doing laundry, went to throw some towels in the washer, and snagged my crucifix on a towel. This caused the teeny tiny nail in the left hand to pull out slightly, as well as pushing out the little cap on the back of the cross, I guess this secures the little nail in place? Heartbroken. I took a small hammer and gently tapped the nail or whatever it is back into place, the back piece went back into place as well. The nail flattened ever so slightly when I tapped it, but I do not think it will snag as easily. I will probably have to tap the other nails to, just to stop them from snagging on things. I am extremely disappointed, because I bought this crucifix thinking it would stand up to daily wear and not be harmed by my daily tasks, and it is not doing that. I do not know if the nails were not in the whole way, or if it normal for them to stick out slightly. Either way this design, though very beautiful, and the perfect size that I wanted, is not functional as a piece of jewelry, due to those delicate nails catching on things. I have to wear it inside my shirt to protect it, and that is not what I wanted it for. I reviewed this on the actual Ghirelli website and they just will not publish the review. Weird.

Incredible customer service. Ghirelli stands behind their products!

I will be a Ghirelli customer for life. My husband bought me a Rosalet as a birthday gift and it is beautiful. I had some issues with the clasp constantly popping open (old style with no safety button) and as such couldn't wear it daily. Julie Pinccini and her team were incredible. They ensured my Rosalet was fixed and even went so far as to use the new clasp with a safety button. I wear my Rosalet daily without hesitation now and haven't had a single issue. I really appreciate the great customer service and quality from Ghirelli. They stand by their products and are invested in their relationship with their customers.

EXCELLENT Customer Service

I had a problem with a rosary I bought from Ghirelli. When I contacted them, I worked with Julie Piccinini, who was most helpful in taking care of things for me. The net result was that I was sent a new replacement rosary. I highly recommend Ghirelli for their integrity and how they stand behind their products. And I very much love my rosary.

Not a fan of this rich man company. I give it 2 stars because I did love this…

I give it 2 stars because I loved this rosalet my husband bought me in 2020. I wanted to wear it everywhere and as a hospice nurse it was so handy to pray for my patients and have it on. It kept falling off and I kept finding it over and over. I thought I wasn't clasping it right or something. Guess I'm a slow learner. Finally it was lost for good. I emailed the company and found out that they could have sent a little chain because it was defective and yet, no one emailed or told us before it was gone!! They offered to give me a 10% discount on an even more expensive rosalet. Sad that a company who makes Christian jewelry can't make good on a defect better than that. Because it was a wonderful bracelet and witness of the faith out in the real world where buying $400 bracelets are a once in a lifetime for some of us.

Chain and lock

I have just received a Rosalet from Ghirelli. I bought the silver zircon paved one for a little over 1K, and it's beautifully designed, but the chain feels very thin and weak. This is surprising. I can see why, in the comment below, the customer stated the Rosalet chain broke. It's one of my concerns too, especially since my lock was unattached when I woke this morning. Not sure if the two mix or not but that's one of the reasons why I'm giving it four stars, because of the chain's weakness and the lock coming unattached on its own. Other than that, Julie was awesome to work with! I've ordered some key chains from them, absolutely beautiful! However, with the Rosalet, I broke the bank, so my expectations are higher and I may just find a jeweler to put another chain in there because I don't want to keep sending it back to get fixed at $90 a pop if and every time it breaks apart.

Weak chain means the Rosalet will continue to break

My husband gave me a beautiful rosalet bracelet for Mother's Day 2022. When getting out of bed one morning the rosalet broke. I was able to save all the beads and wrote to the company asking if they do repairs. They wrote back that the repair would cost me $90! When I asked them to give me a breakdown of the costs, they did not and suggested I take it to a local jeweler, which I did. The jeweler would not fix the broken chain link because "the chain is made from very low quality material and will break again" and they did not have a chain small enough to fit the beads. So it seems my only choice is to send the bracelet back to Ghirelli to the tune of $90 each time it breaks, or cut my losses. I'm very disappointed to discover the low quality of the material they use for the chain, and that they do not stand by their product. Charging $90 to fix a faulty product is not standing by their work. I would also like to add that I wear many bracelets (all of which I have worn for years) and none of them have broken. This is a beautiful, but sadly sub-par product. I cannot speak for the rosaries, but when it comes to the Rosalet -Buyer Beware.
