Great Buying Experience
Excellent customer service from Catherine who was polite and attentive. She was able to answer the majority of my queries but sought assistance from her manager who kindly assisted.
No complaints at all from the store but I feel the website could do with improvement as not all options are available to configure online.
13 week delivery time which I believe is standard and I look forward to having my sofa delivered.

Exceptional service, honest advice and genuine customer care
I was absolutely delighted with my experience at Sterling Home. The offers were excellent, but what truly stood out was the quality and honesty of the advice I received.
I would particularly like to mention the team in the carpet department. They took the time to properly assess what I needed, listened carefully and gave me excellent advice without ever rushing me or making me feel pressured to buy. They were also very respectful of the timescale of my renovation and suggested ways of adapting my purchases accordingly, including options that actually saved me money rather than simply encouraging me to spend more.
That level of honesty and genuine customer care was ultimately what gave me the confidence to make my purchase.
The same high standard was evident throughout the entire store. Everyone I encountered was knowledgeable, professional and exceptionally pleasant to deal with. Good service deserves recognition, and Sterling Home certainly deserves it. A genuinely excellent experience from beginning to end.

Avoid - No interest after purchasing
Bought a very expensive sofa from Sterling Aberdeen and gave a 5 star review on the purchase process. several weeks later the sofa was delivered and assembled. The large sofa did not fit together properly and I was most unhappy with it. The delivery drivers noted my concerns and emailed the company telling me “a technician will contact you today to resolve the issue”. I also filled out the delivery notice with my concern which was going back to the company. That was three days ago and I am left with a £3000 + sofa that doesn’t fit together and no contact from anyone from Sterling. Very unhappy customer who will never buy from them again.
Update - Unfortunately despite response, no email was received. I have now received a text offering technician support.

Quality products, good customer service
We bought 2 beds. They are really good quality. The delivery was about 3 weeks after the purchase and the communication about it was accurate. I was a bit worried coz I didn't get loads of emails with updates but actually when I needed to hear, I did.
On delivery day one of the beds was the wrong colour and we didn't notice until they had built it. No issue, they unbuilt and took away the wrong bed, then the delivery of the correct one was arranged 4 days later.
We had a further issue with a mattress but it was rectified easily by their team. I'm really happy with my beds and have enjoyed the experience of dealing with this company so would definitely use them again.

My Mother has bought from Sterling for many years. Having items delivered to Skye. She is now residing in Aberdeen and has bought various items for delivery and in store over the last couple of years. We have been to many retailers and always come back to Sterling. The showroom is outstanding in its design and layout. Everything all laid out so sophisticatedly that it is impossible not to be able to create and dress an exceptional living spaces/s. Truly it's outstanding.
However, the main plus when you visit Sterling Bridge of Don, is the attentive and fun staff. They are either trained to a high standard or are just naturally perfect for the position. Elise attended to Mum and I today and she was more than enough. A credit to the store. We met Jason briefly in the passing and there is no wonder that he is a man with a beaming grin. His staff are a credit to him and Sterling as a whole. Nowhere matches the service, simplicity of service and the extra mile of attention and warmth. Truly a great experience shopping with you all.

Steve in the furniture division dealt with us and helped us make a suitable change to another product. Steve is the Man. Courteous, professional and very personable. He put my wife at ease when he realised she was upset about the situation. His care, attention and expertise was exceptional. Steve made a very uncomfortable situation easy to navigate with a happy wife leaving the store relaxed and delighted with how Steve treated her and helped her chose the perfect furniture for our home. Disappointing from a company I had previously rated positively
I previously purchased a sofa from Sterling Home and spent a considerable amount of money there. At the time of purchase, I was asked by the salesman to leave a review on Trustpilot, which I did, and my experience then was positive.
Unfortunately, my recent experience with their flooring service has been completely different.
I arranged for an estimator to visit my home to quote for click flooring in my kitchen. He arrived around 15 minutes late and spent much of the appointment humming and hawing about various things in the kitchen. However, at no point did he tell me that the job could not be done. I was left with the clear impression that a quote would be sent.
Instead, I later received an email saying they would not be able to install click flooring because of the weight of my American-style fridge/freezer, claiming that the weight could cause problems with a floating floor. I was also told that the subfloor would need screeding but that this too was somehow restricted because of the fridge/freezer, which had been sitting in exactly the same place throughout the estimator's visit and was hardly a surprise.
If this was genuinely such a fundamental issue, why was it not mentioned during the appointment? Why arrange and carry out an estimator's visit, only to send what feels like an excuse for not quoting afterwards?
I emailed Sterling Home to express how disappointed I was with the poor service and the explanation given. To date, I have not even had the courtesy of a reply.
Having previously been encouraged to leave a positive Trustpilot review after purchasing my sofa, I feel it is only fair to now share my experience of the other side of their customer service.
Very disappointing. I will not be returning for future purchases or projects, and I certainly won't be recommending their flooring service to friends or family.

Sofa Shopping
Went into to Sterling a good few months ago for a look around and was seen to straight away. Matt was very helpful and helped me when I decided on a sofa. I didn’t buy the sofa then but came back recently and was again seen to by Matt as he remembered me from my last visit and made the purchase with his help. Just told 2 months delay for delivery. Not happy.
Furniture ordered supposed to arrive in mid- late August, just had an email to say it will now be well into October before possible delivery. Very disappointing.
