New flat, efficiently and well equipped, very comfortable and sparking clean

Everything was perfect and clean,nice and spacious,nice backyard as well..I would recommend 💯

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed great area good access to all the shops cafes . This is my personal preference no come back on the house, at all but it could do with a little TLC new mattress on double bed a lick of Paint then it would be perfect we enjoyed it

I stayed at a property in St John’s Chapel, (25 Hood Street), which was booked at the last minute as I wanted something more private and personal than a Premier inn etc.

I have to say that I was more than impressed with the interior and what it had to offer. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were very well furnished, and I enjoyed the ability to be able to cook for myself with all the required utensils that i needed.

It was perfect for my two night stay, and as an added bonus, it had a lovely little pub close-by which I used on my second night, and which seemed extremely popular with the locals.

I have already intimated to the company that I will book this again for next year, and found it excellent value for money, and very peaceful.

10/10 from me.

Accommodation excellent, very clean and had everything you would need. The Host Company are very responsive and always there to assist.

Great place and location very helpful team

Great house and great location which served all our needs whilst visiting family. We stayed here with our children and grandchildren so it was lovely to have a well equipped kitchen for cooking and space to relax.

Village location very close to barnard castle which was good. Looks very run down from outside but quite modern inside.
Unfortunately every room has cobwebs in and spiders all over both bathrooms. Not just small ones either. Probably due to exposed brickworks and gaps in fixtures.
Hot tub didn’t work. No information on description that it’s a log burner fuelled hot tub. 4 separate attempts to start it up with no luck. Kids went in first night anyway and it was very overly chlorinated.
Sofa bed downstairs in front room when collapsed to be used, had crumbs and muck inside the fold. Chest of drawers in second bedroom had hairs in it, long and short hairs.
Unfortunately I don’t think the standard of this cottage was very good.

Nice and clean apartment, fantastic and responsive host.

Communication was quick and any questions quickly answered. The apartment was clean throughout with loads of carparking available close to the door, I had been before but I recall it was slightly tricky to find the first time around. It is upstairs so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Good facilities as listed, washing machine, fridge freezer etc. decent WiFi tea, coffee and milk were provdied. Several supermarkets close bh inclidomg kne a short walk away. Overall a pleasant stay and would happily stay again.

Unfortunately on arrival to the property there was an overwhelming smell of cannabis. We were told to air the property and they would send cleaners in the following day to freshen it up for us. This did not happen and the problem continued for our stay. Far from ideal especially with a toddler.

The house was clean, tidy and well presented. Easy to find with short distance to shops and towns.
