Stayfari gives you smooth and safe ride experience. Driver and car quality is smooth. However, they charge 20% extra compared to price that you can get offline when booked directly with local car rental companies. Question is whether services are worth 20% more?:)

Overall coordination was good. The driver needed a bit less rash driving instructions and the vehicle AC vent was out of order. Had engaged a saloon car.

Stayfari showed so much promise
Stayfari showed so much promise, but ultimately disappointed.
First what was good? Their website and booking portal is very well designed from a UI/UX standpoint. So easy to add locations, remove locations, modify trip etx...and the instantaneous price quote is also useful. They do charge a premium price but when I signed up I thought their actual service will be on par with the premium pricing.
The founders of stayfari are bay area tech guys. So that background shows how good the software and the UX is.
Overall the good features of stayfari stops there.
What were the cons?
1. They assign a dedicated sales guy to ensure he closes the deal. In the process he sells tall tales. For example the one that stood out for me - he said all their vehicles are their own vehicles and their drivers are their own staff. When the driver shows up he will be in a uniform with a top hat! Makes you believe they have great people....
Reality - they outsource the trip to fleet owners who can then hire any driver from the market who can show up in any clothes...and also in our case the driver number they gave us was different than the driver number the driver called from....also the driver or the fleet owner weren't supposed to call us as stayfari was the middleman that arranged everything in a frictionless manner...NO..lots of annoying friction..as I said driver calls, then owner calls, then they give wrong driver number...and the irony is they had setup a 9 team member operations team on whatsapp to monitor our trip 24 7, but many times they responded late when all this mixup had happened. What's the point of having a 9 member monitoring team!!
Next they had mentioned that the driver will cover for his own meals. In our case the driver being outsourced at the last moment really didn't know stayfaris procedures and expected for us pay for his meals. We ended up covering for his food as the only saving grace on this trip was the driver was a nice chap and we thought instead of paying a tip let's cover his food.
The driver was a nice chap but he had a few bad habits when it came to driving. He drove with only one hand on the wheel for several hours during the trip (ours was six days of hire). He also looks at his phone a lot while driving, especially looking down and up as his phone was on his lap. Despite these, the driver was a nice chap, responsive and dependable on coming on time.
There are few other nuances but overall for the money we spent we really didn't get the perceived value.
Next time we will just sign up with the driver directly and that way it's cheaper for us and also more money in the pocket of the driver.
Hope this helps. Overall recommendation - don't pay premium pricing for value not delivered.

Driver was prompt though our flight was delayed by 1.5 hours. He was very courteous and most importantly drove safely through the hillly roads in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh. The vehicle was very good quality AC Tempo Traveler for people with luggage.

Our trip to South of India & Sri Lanka
We rented a car for our transfer between Kochi and Alleppey, then between Alleppey and Madurai for 4 days and finally another one in Sri Lanka between Anuradhapura and Galle for 5 days. All the cars corresponded to what was expected and the drivers were very professional and friendly. The price and itineraries negotiated in advance were respected. On the other hand, if you decide to change the route during your trip the fees charged are very expensive, be careful. Generally speaking, I am very satisfied with the service provided and I can recommend this company for a future trip to India or Sri Lanka.

Amazing First Rate Service
I have been booking Stayfari for Staff I currently have in India on an overseas assignment. The service has been simply amazing. The responsiveness, the driver care, the ease to make last minute changes and also find drivers at last minute for us in other states has been first rate.
