We got in right away with an emergency appt. Although they couldn't give us same day script (because her vision is poorer ) we ordered 2 pair at a great price that were ready in 10 days. They referred us to a same day place for an emergency pair. The glasses that came in from Stanton are a better made script. Ability to make them more precise .We are happy.

I had a great visit! My eye exam was thoroughly done and the customer service was amazing. I received my glasses and I was definitely not disappointed. I can see!!!!

I worked with Brie, who was an absolute delight. She knew what she was doing, explained things to me and bent over backwards to help me.

The salesperson tried to give me the wrong glasses. Again.

The staff, exam, equipment, and overall experience was euphoric!

Everyone was very polite and welcoming. The advanced technology and way they do things was impressive and they were very quick and efficient from the start to the end. Carlos was who helped us and he was very nice and helpful. He answered every question and explained everything very clearly so we didn’t walk out with any doubts. He was patient and helped make sure we walked out satisfied with our glasses and the fit of them. Overall great experience and will definitely be staying with them for all eye exams and glasses/contacts!

First off employees were very helpful. But with that being said, I did not like the lack of communication. It was very hard to find the number to the store where I could actually talk to somebody AI that I had to speak with initially kept on saying my glasses were gonna be delivered to me, which wasn’t true. It was supposed to be delivered to the store and then on top of it it wasn’t delivered on time. I had to wait a whole another week or so because they had to send my lenses off only to find out that wherever they were having my lenses made didn’t even have the frame in stock and so I’m sitting here waiting for my glasses and nobody’s telling me anything I had called to find out. They did give me a pair of loaner glasses in the meantime so I do praise them for that but the communication sucks. I wouldn’t say it was the people at the store because they probably had no way of telling it was where my glasses were being made at where the communication broke down.

They took my insurance (I’ve been turned away from multiple locations - I have Spectera)

Got me in super quick. Had a huge selection of glasses. Great customer service and such a seamless process. My glasses came in on the earlier side of the turn around time.

Will be using them again!

I had a mixed experience while getting glasses for my father. While the staff is polite, the process has been quite confusing and inconvenient.
After they were unable to complete my father’s full exam, we were referred elsewhere, but the cost was kept as a credit rather than being refunded. We returned on February 11th to apply that credit toward his glasses, but the communication from there was hit-or-miss.
I was notified the glasses were ready, but when I arrived to pick them up, only one pair was available. The team offered to ship the remaining pair to me to make up for the trip, but I still had to call a week later to confirm they were actually being sent. Instead of the promised follow-up call, I eventually just received a UPS notification.
I hope the office can improve their internal communication and billing transparency, as it took a lot of extra effort on my part to ensure the order was handled correctly.

Everything works and I am happy with my glasses!!

Our experience at Stanton Optical in Gastonia was great. We had three eye exams done and everything was fast and efficient. The exam includes a live chat with the doctor, which was different but worked really well. As a self-pay patient I liked how simple and affordable the process was. No pushy sales tactics, and Carlos did a great job walking us through all of our options.

Quick and simple

The only reason why I am putting a 5 stars is because Carlos went far and beyond and double checked me and my husband's prescriptions which the original provider that had just finished our exams there messed up so Carlos took it into his own hands and redid the exam in person for us and got it to where we will be actually able to see

Love the new technology! I got an eyeglasses exam and was also going to get a contact exam until they told me I had dry eyes and a $300 treatment plan could cure it. It seemed like a sales plot. Anyways, once they told me that I didnt get the contact exam. I did not purchase the dry eyes treatment neither. However if this sales plot about dry eyes would have never came up, I would of had the contact exam with purchase of contacts and glasses.
