Canceled my appointment as I was…
Canceled my appointment as I was driving there. 15 minutes before. I tried to give this place another chance and this is the second time Ive tried to get an exam through them, they’ve cancelled, and I always just end up going somewhere else.

Doctor on a screen, impersonal, and rushed.
I was not told beforehand that there would be no in person doctor, instead the doctor was on a screen. It felt very impersonal and the doctor barely even looked at me and I felt rushed during the exam. I told them I had a floater and they didn’t give me any info on it, even if it was something to be worried about or not. Their frames are outrageously expensive for how they look and they can’t even fit frames to your face, mine still slide down after they adjusted them. Just an overall bad, impersonal experience and do not recommend them for an exam or glasses.

Stanton Optical on East Forest Plaza in Columbia, Sc is one of the best eye glasses place I’ve ever went to. I and my kids get our glasses from there. The staffs were all nice, respectful, and cared for your needs. One of the ladies there I wish I remembered her name is AMAZING! She helped pick out my glasses and they look amazing on me! I ABSOLUTELY love love love my new pair of glasses! I appreciate the friendly and clean environment and I highly recommend going there if you’re in need of glasses or eye contacts.

The sales associate was forth coming and professional, I got my eyes checked right away with no appointment. I needed transitional lenses 139.99+ tax n got both pair in less than two weeks. Great service.

Good experience
Good experience. Never had a virtual eye exam before. Only thing is that I was not told before going back that it would virtual. Also not the best selection of glasses. Limited large frames for women and the maybe 2 frames that were large, were very pricey. Better selection needed.

Not good…unfortunately
Not good…unfortunately Eyes are still irritated from the prescribed contacts from the rudest optometrist. She did not make me feel welcomed, heard or comfortable. She interrupted me, she made my appointment very tense like I was not telling the truth about what I was not seeing in eye exam. I want to see like a regular person…why would I not be truthful! Contacts came in 2days and I already knew from the exam and not being heard…I knew contacts were not going to be right. They were too big for my eyes, scratched my eyes and the prescription was off. The office was clean and the front lady at the counter was helpful and knowledgeable. Also the lady who did the viewing of my eyes was nice. Don’t want to go back but I need and want to see. Hopefully follow-up with another optometrist is better. If not, I will not waste my money or time again.
