Terrible service!
I'm updating this review from 1 star to 4 because my concern has been addressed.
My initial opinion from experience
Terrible service!
We signed up for this company based on a recommendation by GTCO, as the bank claimed a relationship with this company. At first, I was ecstatic, but my staff warned that we should start with a smaller payment to see how their service works.
I reluctantly agreed because I was happy that we finally have a Nigerian bank offering international payment solutions to local businesses. This turned out to be the worst service because at first they were giving different excuses, including requesting that we verify an already verified account, which we did. The next excuse was that we had to wait 10 business days. We waited. Next excuse, we received an email from Tonia stating that they need a GTCO USD bank account or we pay N6,000 for them to add correct UBA account info, and truth be told, there was nothing wrong with the UBA account.
We decided to provide them with a GTCO USD bank account, but then they went muted for two days, not responding to emails again. I finally called, and Tonia told me we were going to receive the payment within 48 hours and that she had just updated the account details to GTCO.
Long story short, it is now 3 days, and I checked my squaco.com dashboard and can see the bank name is showing UBA, not GTCO.
We sent emails and received no response. My recommendation is to just avoid the company.
