I love the yearly Christmas ornaments. They are the highlight of my year. They are high quality and always ships on time. I have never had an issue with Sporty's and return to them for all my aviation needs.

Excellent, personal customer service. If you need assistance, you can actually talk to a real person, and their English language skills do not require Google Translate.

“A Veteran’s Appeal to Restore a Cherished Flight Training Program”

About ten years ago, I purchased the “So You Want to Fly Gliders” video edition—including its companion manual—from Sporty’s Pilot Shop for $54.05. It was an outstanding resource that rekindled my lifelong passion for aviation and served as an invaluable learning tool. I have treasured it ever since.

To my disappointment, I recently discovered that the app is no longer available and that access to my original video edition has been deactivated. What was once a dynamic, inspiring program has now been reduced to the printed manual alone—the video feature that brought the material to life is no longer accessible.

As a 78‑year‑old and a proud veteran, I find this especially disheartening. Losing access to a resource I lawfully purchased and deeply valued feels both discouraging and unfair. Were it possible to repurchase or reactivate the program, I would gladly do so. I sincerely hope Sporty’s might consider restoring or reissuing this remarkable instructional series, allowing loyal customers like myself to continue learning and enjoying the spirit of flight that first inspired us.

After other purchases in the past,
I purchased a Garmin device from Sporty’s and completed the entire process—payment approved, order confirmed, and my credit card fully charged. Then, without any legitimate explanation, Sporty’s abruptly cancelled my order. Their actions make it clear that the refusal was based solely on the fact that I am a Jewish pilot living in Israel.

This conduct is outrageous, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable for any reputable business.

Customers deserve to know how Sporty’s Pilot Shop chooses to treat people on a basis of race and nationality.
