Spond Omdömen 

Use Spond for my football team payments, not had any real issues to be honest, get notifications and pay when asked to, that aspect works well for me.

Just joined (and quickly unjoined) as it's the app used by the Swim company I'm holidaying with soon. ALARMED to discover that 200+ people who I do not know had access to my email address via the Spond group I was allocated to - this is an invasion of privacy and not as far as I'm concerned GDPR compliant.
Also ALARMED to discover that this also applies to parents and children who are using the app for junior sports clubs - everyone in their group (not just their team) can access their information.
This can't be right - where are the safeguards here?

I installed Spond, because I joined a team that is using it. I immediately noticed a design error that makes it more or les unusable for me: the screen is designed for a standard font ie. As low-vision person I have set my Android phone to a higher font size (not even very high), and this already messes up the Spond screen, starting with the registration procedure (two buttons become overlayed). My students would get an zero/F for this design (I have taught Web Technology at the university). Spond: even heard of Accessibility Guidelines?

Terrible app, it syncs with your calendar but instead of putting all the events you're signed up to it puts all the events available. And then it's impossible to get them off calender and their customer service couldn't help. Avoid!

Not great. Accepted an invite to join our club. When I was later sent an invite via email for our first game, I clicked "Attending" only to get an error. I ended up having to re-register my account, same email address, then when I went to click "Attending" again it said I'd been removed from the event as my email address was no longer valid, I must have signed up with a different email address! This is simple stuff, not rocket science. I don't hold out much confidence for the rest of the app if they can't even get the basics right.

Spond is the worst sports event management platform I have used. The free tools work fine and the basics are OK for small sized clubs. As soon as you do more complex acivities like managing club signups, membership renewals and Spond Club based acivities- its a complete mess. Bugs , bugs , bugs.. And a compleletely incompetent tech team which is not only incapable to solve simple bugs , but so lax and unresponsive that it takes 3 months to even respond to a bug fix request. The whole leadership team needs to be fired for this type of worst organisational performance and releasing a product like this to the market place. Never using this app again for my club. Stay AWAY !!!

Hadde det vært mulig å gi null stjerner, så hadde jeg gitt det. Mottok en gevinst i lotteri fra en klubb i form av mandelkjeks som var delvis knust når den ble levert i postkassen. Prøvd å sende bilder og reklamasjon via «kundeservice», men får ikke bekreftelse på mottak, bare spm fra en håpløs AI-assistent. Skulle tro det var et kinesisk basert selskap som prøver å gjemme seg.

Helt elendig får feil navn på sønnen min i appen, og ingen svarer på kundeservice for å rydde opp i dette

The fundraising "SPOT THE BALL" competition has been a complete nightmare and the customer service and contact are absolutely shocking. We have had people buying entries, unable to pick a spot but money coming out of their account. After hours of dealing with an AI bot I was asked for email addresses. Easy enough for the people you know directly but for others who haven't told you they've entered, hard to do and you'd never see their money again! Was told money would come back to their account but then minutes after I was told this, funds appeared in our fundraising pot. Have told spond there is clearly a software issue as it keeps happening but the advisor refuses to escalate or recognise this. It's hard enough for teams to raise money let alone when there is issues!

Vi har prøvd å melde oss ut av en klubb. Ble til slutt slettet, men de kan forsett sende oss reklame-meldinger i innboksen om sine sponsorer. Som kommer som varsling på mobilen. Dette er fordi vi ikke er slettet i denne klubbens Spond Club-system. Går ikke svare på de meldingene.
Vi er i andre klubber så er avhengig av å bruke Spond. Men med varsler om klubb-julegaver fra forrige klubb.

Klubber kan også invitere til "klubbdager" hos en restaurant, der du får tilbud på pizza. Hvis du har koblet kalenderen din til spond får du automatisk dette opp der. Uten at du trenger å godta. Feks pizza-tilbud klistret over 5 dager i kalenderen du bruker til hverdags.

Everyone still just uses whatsapp anyway it is near pointless, nicely done as it is. Seems to conduse the issue

Confusing to set up. Unreliable. Support is indifferent and getting anything rectified or cleared up takes aggggggggges

Spond is by far the best team management tool we’ve used.
We have over 60 teams in the club and we use Spond to collect fees, communicate with players, refs and managers and organise games and events.

Using the app and club tool has saved us hours of admin each week.

Overall a good thing for our club - improves loads of comms, admin and subs/ fees collection. Only concern is it is a blanket solution for sports so some specific requirements are a bit generic

SORTED once I managed to speak to a real person - Amalie was very helpful in resolving this and funds now released 😀

Spond holding on to our funds and refusing to respond -waiting 6 hours for a real person to ring me …the bot’s ‘advice’ was less than useless …

….probably useful when it’s working but when not it’s a BLACK HOLE

Spond is a solution looking for a problem. it's designed mre for the admins than the users.
Multiple e-mails clogging my inbox, when a well designed attendance page on a single point of contact club/band website would be easier and better. A web page can also deliver other information, such as which music for which rehearsal, which uniform for which gig, map to venue, who else is going, who's on the tea/cake rota, etc. Also no need for an app and non-proprietary

We’ve been using Spond to manage our football academy and it’s been a game-changer. The platform is easy to use, great for communicating with parents and players, and helps us stay organised with schedules, payments, and attendance. The automation features save loads of time, and the support team has always been helpful when we’ve needed them. Highly recommend for any sports club or team!

Spond has been a brilliant tool to align all aspects of communication across the academy at Gloucester Rugby Club.

All player and parent communications across multiple age groups are able to be confined to one platform, which has been received extremely positively by all academy stakeholders, due to ease of use and accessibility of information.

I would highly recommend the use of Spond within any sports academy setting.
