Questionable Dental Business Practices
In my opinion, the advertising practices of this dental office (which is Spiritas Ranch Dental Care, 4822 FM 720 Road, Aubrey, TX 76227) are a bait-and-switch scam. They mail out postcard offers using the U.S. postal system but when you accept their new patient offer, they refuse to honor this offer. I even double checked the offer in advance when I called in and made the initial appointment by phone. Their phone representative stated that they would provide an initial teeth cleaning, dental exam, and x-rays for a cost of $79.00 (in August, 2026). Any other or additional dental work would be offered for performance on a separate later date at additional cost. What actually happens during the appointment is that they refuse to perform any dental teeth cleaning at all, which was a part of the offer. They only offered to perform a more costly teeth cleaning procedure at a higher cost. Also, I booked the initial appointment with dentist Manasa Rao but actually had dentist Moyosola Afolabi walk in to perform the dental exam, without me being informed in advance or consenting to the substitution. In my opinion, the practices of this dental office are a clear-cut bait-and-switch scam.
