I've been gardening and growing my own veg for nearly 5 years now and Spiecsontheweb are next level with quality of seeds and plug plants.

Other companies like Suttons focus purely on quantity not quality but these guys are absolutely next level compared to them.

I have found a new permanent supplier of seeds with Spicesontheweb

Having had very poor germination rates for super hot chilli varieties in 2022 I looked around for suppliers of plantlets. Most of the well known seed companies were out of stock, had very poor choice, or outrageous prices (£5 per plant - how many chillies do you think you'll get from one plant?). Spicesontheweb was new to me, but had a great choice of plants in stock and realistic prices. 6 plantlets (Carolina Reaper, Dragon's Breath, and 7-Pot Red) arrived a few days later in really good condition, and in early May are ready to go out in the unheated greenhouse. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

I have bought 12 chilli plant seedlings from Steve and I can say without reservation that it was a shopping pleasure. The seedlings were priced very reasonably, offered with plenty of useful information and delivered to me in professional containers. The seedlings were of obvious great quality and after transplanting into pots are growing well and looking great. This is the first time that I have bought from this site but I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Well impressed with these chilli plants. Never had plug plants this big and impressed with pricing. Will be coming back again. Passed on your details to my friends, expect more orders.

Plants arrived really quickly and in contrast to many plants I have received via the post they were in excellent condition, well hydrated with large healthy leaves, very pleased will definitely use this company for future orders.

Ordered a fairly good size package of spices. There was a small problem with one of the items. Dropped a note to SpicesOnTheWeb. Got an explanation and refund in 20 minutes. Incredibly good service!. They really care about what their doing. My go to place for spices, always !

I emailed to ask more information about EU regulations and laboratory controls of a specific product, since we wanted to order in bulk.
The contact person (Steve) couldn't provide the information, apparently they don't even have basic product control. It seemed like he was doing me a favor by doing his job.
Not very trustworthy and horrible customer support.

edited: I actually have all the emails Steve has sent, there is no mention of Brexit anywhere, but theres is a "hahahahah" email sent directly to me after him being offended of the bad review he got for a poor service he gave.

Fresh tasting, good prices, well measured, timely delivery, no chaff and honest about the origin of their products. Way above what you can get in most shops in terms of variety and quality. Made three orders and all consistent. I hope they live forever because I cant go back to buying overpriced glass thimbles of Mexican chilli flake from supermarkets, knowing it’s possible to buy the whole dried chillies for much less money with these chaps (especially if you look out for their coupon codes). Big up you legends.
