Tim arranged our safari in Tanzania arranging the most amazing tour guide and varied accommodation as we toured across the country, including a light aircraft flight and then on to Zanzibar. He was always on hand responding quickly to any questions during the booking process and beyond. Outstanding.

I found Speke travel when searching for a deal to a safari and beach holiday. What a find! Tim Parry has been absolutely amazing creating a perfect holiday in Nyerere National Park Tanzania and Zanzibar. I had a fair few questions - including could we get married at the safari camp! Nothing was too much trouble for Tim and he was so prompt with replies and advice. All the flights transfers and accommodation were faultless. It really was a holiday of a lifetime! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tim and Speke Travel.

My partner and I had this trip on our wish list for a very long time. We researched and read books and talked to past travellers to the region and had almost decided what we wanted for ourselves. Along comes Tim Parry from Speke travel, who from the very first zoom call, made it all happen for us, to the last detail. His personal blog on the travel site just caught our imagination and we threw in our lot with him
His knowledge of the country and various useful contacts helped make this a dream holiday. We never felt unsupported, apart from the times when we wilfully wanted to loose ourselves in the enchanting wilderness.

My family have just returned from a very special Tanzanian safari holiday, organised by Tim at Speke Travel. I had initially asked Tim to quote for my very specific itinerary and location details and in every aspect, he totally achieved this. From choice of accommodation to expert local ground agent's, Tim's extensive personal knowledge of Tanzania along with his faultless customer service, the holiday was everything we had hoped for. We had a great experience with Tim to arrange our honeymoon safari in Tanzania and beach holiday in Zanzibar. He was always reachable and friendly and knowledgeable on the phone. He also sent us a few different itineraries so that we could choose an option which suited us best.
There was so much involved in our trip and Tim really made sure that the hotels and park trips suited us. We love food and were really up for adventure as well as a bit of luxury on our honeymoon and he really hit the nail on the head.

We stumbled across Speke Travel when we were in the initial stages of looking for a company to book a holiday to Namibia. Namibia is a place we have always wanted to travel to, but never really had the opportunity. However, we couldn’t rate Speke Travel highly enough. Tim was incredibly friendly and helpful right from the start and there was nothing that seemed to be too hard for him to resolve. He was very flexible and tailored our holiday to exactly what we were looking for and to the places we wanted to visit. It was very clear that nothing was too big or small to ask of him and he always made sure that we knew we could contact him anytime by phone or email. Communication was a strong point! Tim even made sure that the lodges we were staying in knew that one of us was (picky) vegetarian and ensured they had a list of food that he liked.

We spent about 2 weeks driving around Namibia, staying in some amazing lodges and taking part in some fantastic activities with Sandwich Harbour and self-driving in Etosha National Park definitely being the two main highlights. We felt very safe and reassured whilst travelling and we were given a phone and a number of people we could contact in Namibia and in the UK if we encountered any issues.

We were originally apprehensive about driving in Namibia, but were quickly reassured that it was very easy with wide, straight roads with few cars. We were given a brand new Nissan X-trail to drive in around the country. We did have a small problem with our 4x4 after around 10 days into the trip but this was quickly resolved and done in such a way so that it wouldn’t affect our itinerary which was perfect. Driving was easy and we were given a highlighted map of our route which was easy to follow - in fact, it was quite difficult to get lost with everywhere clearly signposted.

Our holiday ran smoothly and was an incredible adventure that we won’t forget. We would highly recommend using Speke Travel to book a holiday as it certainly took away all the stress from us!

Amazing customer service and the guy that I spoke to was very friendly and really knew his stuff. I like that I wasn’t pressured into making decisions really quickly like I have before. It’s great to deal with someone that has actually been to the places and hotels that they offer, made a huge difference that he knew exact facilities especially regarding childcare etc. Very highly recommended.
