Poor Packaging
I ordered two books which were sent loose in a box ,
both were damaged when they reached me which was very disappointing , they cost me nearly £45 .

Speedyhen redeemed themselves after poor start!
My parcel was supposed to be delivered on Friday according to the Royal Mail tracking, when I still hadn't received it on Monday afternoon (after the normal Royal Mail delivery time) I rang you to inform you of the problem. Your response was that despite the fact that it was supposed to be a 48 hour delivery, that I would have to wait until the following Tuesday to contact you again, before you would take it up with YOUR supplier as it wouldn't be considered delayed until after 10 working days. You then had the temerity to email me asking for a Trustpilot review the following evening when it still hasn't arrived. Naturally I am disappointed (more so with your response than the actual late delivery - accidents can happen)
Following my posting of this review Speedyhen contacted me and not only reimbursed me for my purchase but also contacted Royal Mail, determined that the parcel had been lost and sent me another on 24 hour delivery. This was an excellent response (over and above what I would have expected) and the only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that it shouldn't have needed my initial review as a trigger.

Excellent service
I buy the majority of my books from Speedyhen. The website is user friendly, the books are competitively priced and dispatched quickly. The books are well packed and invariably arrive in perfect condition. In this instance the book was pre-ordered and arrived within a couple of days after the publication date. Excellent service.
