My friend and I had not enjoyable experience due to the attitude of the clerk working the till at the time.

(Spar in Mullingar) Good prices but its not worth going to it when i get given out to by the cashier for putting the money on the counter on front of her instead of her hand she muttered "that f***er needs to learn some manners" and sadly this is the second time this has happened very disappointing.

I came in today from a very long trip with my mother and the only wonderful person there is Claire she was just amazing her service is on top and her chicken roll was one of the best I ever had in a while thank you Claire I will be back again just because of you .

Went to pay for a Pepsi Max, €2.80 handed the cashier 3 50c , 6 20c and a 10c and he said i need 30 more cents, i then counted them again and i was still right, but he still told me i needed to pay the 30c

Bought chocolate crossoiant in morning !! Date shows expire tomorrow but it smells so bad and i had one bite 😥 its not good!!! And i can’t go back to exchange, I could not have my morning breakfast

Cracking treck but saw a man fall to his knees and beg the deli staff for a job, Celtic tiger is back.

Lost my wallet
Someone handed it into spar on Dame Street minus money and bank cards 😔
My drivers licence was still in the wallet
Majella who works in spar went out of her way to track me down on Facebook to say she had my wallet 😊
I went In to collect it and she put a euro in my wallet to bring me luck, this woman is an absolute star
I'm very grateful 🙏 excellent customer service 👏

Went into the Spar at the end of Stoney Batter today. Guy at the till charged me 15.05 euro on cigarettes instead of 15 euro which is the price by law. Another time I had to pay a service fee of 50 cent just to top up my phone. Sick of being ripped off. Centra are an Irish business and they never charge a rubbish service me. All these City Centre Spar shops are a scandal. Total extortionists.

So sick of your self service tills. I have a job mate. I don’t wanna come into spar to do spars job for them. Mental that people can’t see that this only benefits spar and nobody else except for socially awkward feckin kids

One of your employees in Castle Street,Dublin 2, rudely rolled her eyes when I asked her for a carrier bag after purchasing my groceries. Also after I confronted her about it she then proceeded to argue with me in front of waiting customers. She was an exceptionally rude and robotic individual. Previously on the same day another member of staff attempted to charge me twice for my purchase,until I challenged the amount.

My wife recently visited Spar Newpark Kilkenny. She purchased an item priced at €1.49 only to find the item scanned at the self sevice checkout at €1.99. This REGULARLY happens at this store. BEWARE, the price advertised on items on the shelf at Spar Newpark Kilkenny isn't always the price you get charged.

The spar shop in blackrock new town park avenue co dublin is the worst I am local I have to look at the manager here every day she’s ugly horrible she shouldn’t be running this store all the neighbours have the same problem as me the younger staff who are so nice In the store hate her to how anyone can let a face like that run there shop is beyond me pitbull

Overpriced, overcharging, poor quality so called fresh meats and produce is close too sell by dates on loads of items, absolute rip off and disgusting "fresh" meats and vegetables that are obviously past their best before dates. How the hell they get away with the rip off prices is beyond me. Awful shops. Go out of business please and let better people take over. This is a review of spar on Sillogue Road in Ballymun. Only saving grace is that the staff are lovely but the shop itself is outrageously overpriced and disgusting quality food.

Visited Spar shop in Tougher’s Naas today… bad experience… several people in shop not wearing masks and nothing done to challenge them… and the shop assistant’s mask was hanging around her chin… won’t be back …

Based on several experiences at the Spar store in Village Green Tallaght.

Theres one particular employee who works here, old guy with a moustache (I won't say his nationality as some might accuse me of being racist which is not true, I've meet many people of the same nationality as this guy and they are much more plesant) he has no customer/people skills at all, he will snatch cash from your hands, and slam them and your change into your hands. When deciding what to buy in this store the old guy will follow everyone around. This man does not know the words thank you, please, hello, goodday, how can I help you, in fact he will stand there and snigger at you and everyone as he serves. When reported to the owner, the owner was happy to stand by this guys actions,bad attitude and tells me he is the best worker he has. I have heard several other complaints about this same guy. As the owner is happy to stand by and allow this awful service, I do not recommned this particular store to anyone.
