Awful guy in there soooo rude! Don’t have the yodel service if you lie every time and say it’s down what a waste of time

It has most essentials but if you want any kind of food or snack that isn't branded, you are better of getting some soil and grass from outside ant eating it 👍

Went in to spar in rayne road Braintree to put in fule I don't usually use this shop but when filling up the pump stop and the lady
Inside stoped the pump and was pointing out I had my phone in my hand ( it was not on a call ) I did point that out to her and popped in in my pocket. When I went in I said I completely understand your point and will leave it in my pocket in future her reply was so rude and was support by really aggressive and negative body language that wasn't needed at all ( all she needed to say is yes thanks phones are not aloud out at this location and there would have been no issues at all for me I'm used to using self service were I can pay Google pay at the pump so was a genuine mistake after leaving the shop after being shocked by the bad service i decided to take a picture of this member of staff as she wouldn't give a name or till receipt as I took the picture she decided to raise her middle finger to the window I was shocked that anyone with this attitude was working in retail I have called Spar to raise this but not yet had any communication back

I have internship program of 20 days in SPAR store in karachi and in these 20 days I have teached alot and have a great experance with SPAR and its freshness and cleanness.
And one of the best way to surving custmer is one of the best one as welln

Called in Spar Abersoch to collect parcel after being notified by Royal Mail my item was there. Served by young lady who appeared totally out of her depth searching through an enormous amount of parcels in no order at all. After a couple of minutes she gave up and said “it’s not here” then began serving other customers. I told her I’m not surprised with such an adhoc system. I left the shop and rang the duty manager later that day. This lady was extremely rude from the outset and continually talked over and interrupted me. I was accused of upsetting her shop assistant which I totally denied and advised her to watch and listen to the shop CCTV which she said didn’t record sound so she wasn’t going to bother (convenient). I was told my parcel was there but I was now barred. I contacted Spar head office to be told it was a franchise. I contacted the store supplier who said it’s nothing to do with them either so basically I had no way to progress my complaint. It would appear this shop is a law unto itself and can treat customers with contempt with no worry of reprimand from a head office/ area manager.

Spar belle vale has rotten fresh produce all the time and extortionate prices on simple packaged goods. Hit and miss with the staff.

Radcliffe branch , been there every day ,once cashier not asked about fuel or not put it on bill ,reported me as run off ,shame on you

Post Office service at Leegomery Spar, Telford constantly down citing technical issues. I have made so many wasted journeys. Not good enough!!!!

Re: Spar at Langho, Lancashire. A superb “community store” that sells just about as a convenience store, open long hours 7 days a week. It’s also the local post office counter, a drop off point for Evri and Amazon returns. Staffed by locals, serving locals. The staff are always very pleasant. A superb “local shop”.

I use the Spar located South Street in Greenock which has a great selection of everything and the staff are always really pleasant. The reason I have not given 5 stars is I have noticed over time that if you bring your own bag they do not pack your shopping but if you buy a bag from their store they do pack the bag.. I think this is really not good customer service as it is not treating customers fairly especially when people are being pro active in recycling and trying to help the environment by using a reusable bag. The counter tops in the shop are really badly designed that the assistants ring up the price but keep the goods beside their till that the customer needs to reach over to take their shopping back to pack. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for an elderly person. Someone may only buy 2 items and buy a carrier bag and they get packing services yet others who may buy many items and spend a lot of money are not given same service if bringing own bag. I know and appreciate large Supermarkets bags aren't packed but normally in small convenience corner shops they are. This procedure was not always the case. So reply from Spar is thanks for your review all the best. No explanation at all. Will not be using this shop ever again and will never recommend it if that's how much you care about customers. None of this is directed at any of the serving staff but obviously you have very poor Management who must make your rules.

Rude staff at Peterborough orton malbourne shop, and prrice at checkout often way more than the shelf price, this happens constantly.
Most things are insanely overpriced, it's outright price gouging.
Locally now I use nisa instead.

Their own brands are dreadful. Crisps are bland and overpriced, in their bakery section, everything is dry unless you buy something that isn't their brand.

Today my husband fell & landed in the entrance to our local Spar in Wool, Dorset. The staff took great care to keep him positioned safely until an ambulance arrived & was able to take him to hospital; turning away quite a few customers I may add. I owe them my gratitude & a very big thank you from Barbara Smith.

Pleasant staff member. The experience was a let down on this occasion due to the fruit scones being 4 days beyond best b4 date! Dry as a desert. Stock rotation needs a focus on. Please improve this. That's 1.75 p wasted on my pension. Spar greaves road lancaster lancs.

I’ve just come back from Spar Drumgelloch Airdrie where i bought a 10 pack of Kopparberg Mixed Selection.
When I opened to put in the fridge I noticed the pack had been resealed and there were only 9 cans inside.
I had noticed one of the packs at the front of the shelf had been opened but the one I bought looked ok.
When I went to phone and inform of this, of course, no telephone number for the store.
Whoever resealed this obviously knew the pack was short and put it out for sale anyway. Tomorrow I am reporting this to local Citizens Advice office.
A very disappointing experience.

Our local Spar, in Inkersall, nr., Chesterfield, has had a change of management, recently. They were lovely staff before, and we are so lucky, very lovely, kind, helpful staff now, too.
It has a good range of goods for the size of the shop, fantastic opening hours, just so lucky to have such a great shop that’s within my walking distance, and now do a delivery service too🤗👍. Jacqui Bolton, aged 80.

I offer a 5 star to Spar only because of the Post Office Facilities that after living in Barnhate , Bampton , the nastiest street in Bampton for 7 years , it's open 7 days a week.
There are a few really nice staff who tend to leave once they realise how bad the female Manager really is.
The staff are treated with no appreciation of thier underpaid jobs and often unbarable working rota .
It's clear they don't want to be there.
Most sensible employees leave within 6 months or less.
The highly inflated prices and lack of variety make this store another Rip Off Britain shop that jas no personality and doesn't bring anything positive to a small rural township.
Why there are 2 Spars in.Bampton is mind boggling and with Spar Monopolising Bampton is bad planning by the the Mid Devon District Council’s own licencing laws .
Double the trouble of 2 Bad convenience stores of the same brand and it's twice as bad.
As a member of the Bampton residents I sincerely apologise for the way you are all treated by SPAR there in Bampton and I can only hope there will be a change of Management in the near future .

An employee in Larbet spar is rasist towards Scottish people. She should not be even allowed to work there.
