Richard has a fantastic amount of knowledge, is service and very quick response to both making the appointment plus we had a full report back to us within a couple of days, it is well run family business that we cannot fault, many thanks to all the team.

We used this family company to remove a large, invasive bamboo patch. Richard, Alex and Tom were friendly, optimistic and professional. They arrived on time, worked hard for 2 days, cleared up carefully and the restorative landscaping work was neatly done. I cannot recommend them highly enough to be honest. Exemplary service.

We experienced problems selling our property (for reasons completely unrelated to the knotweed issue) which took two years to resolve. South West Knotweed were extremely understanding and cooperated fully to ensure continuation of the treatment plan despite everything that was going on. They didn't exploit the situation which they could have easily done.

Far along into a homebuying process and was in need of a Japanese Knotweed survey at short notice luckily Kay and Alex was able to schedule a survey of the premises and was excellent throughout. Alex arrived on site the next working day after arranging everything and was able to compile a thorough report a day after. Great service overall and would happily ask upon their services again should any issues/questions arise.

The lads did a fantastic job today and got nearly all of the bamboo out!

TL;DR An utter pleasure from start to finish, 5 stars not enough!!

After buying our first home in January, we were unaware of the issues of having Bamboo on the property and the problems it may cause. After doing some reading, we decided it was for the best to have two plants at the side and one at the rear removed.

After getting a staggering estimate from one company without even a visit, we contacted South West Knotweed who set a date for a home visit. Alexander came to the property and was both knowledgeable and personable. The quote was far more competitive and we were issued with a comprehensive survey document. It was a few months before the work would be carried out but this was far from a problem.

Fast forward to 1st November and a three man team including father and son attended the property to carry out the job. It was carried out to a fantastic standard, with all three plants removed, all rhymezones dug out. They went well above and beyond by replacing the pebbles to the side of the property giving a brilliantly clean and tidy finish.

We could not be happier with the level of service received and the finish and quality of the job. Thanks South West Knotweed!

What a fantastic company. We discovered well established bamboo in a secluded area of our garden. Alex came and examined the plant, wrote a comprehensive report for us explaining everything in detail including our eradication options. On the day of treatment they arrived when they said they would and did exactly what they promised to do. Because of the location of the bamboo it was necessary to cut down some shrubs but we were consulted before they touched anything, everything including the shrub cuttings were removed and our property was left clean and tidy. I can not rate this family business highly enough, they genuinely care, they are professional, approachable, hard working and incredibly knowledgeable. We have no hesitation in recommending.

Great service and received a very comprehensive Report with the company’s recommendations. Will update on completion of works.

You have edited the emails. You are totally dishonest therefore. You did not send me your last email.

It is only controlled in certain scenarios. It is fully lawful to send it for medicinal purposes, which I specified is what I needed it for. I never once gave any indication I wanted to / would "reintroduce the plant into the environment" did I? You can buy it as "Resveratrol" on Amazon and elsewhere.

Richard, please then also explain why you claimed my review was illegal to Trustpilot. My review was not illegal was it? You said my review was illegal as you were desparate to have my review removed even if it meant telling a lie, correct?

Richard White the TROLL. Hmmm, researching me. Thing is Richard White, like many people, I rarely leave positive reviews, but do leave deserved negative ones. The reason I leave so many (go research more closely) is I leave a negative review for anyone that spams me (yes, i get a lot of spam, bizarly from Indian based web developers who have bought an illegal database showing me to be an ecommerce multiple site owner / manager, when I am no such thing - so, look, and you will see most of my reviews for for Indian spammers). I know you meant to demean my / my review of your company, but you only actually demeaned yourself.

What a fantastic company. We discovered knotweed when we put our property on the market. The team here have been fantastic! They have been prompt, extremely knowledgeable, reassuring and professional. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We were worried about bamboo between us and a neighbour that was close to the boundary walls.
