Great service. I called twice to get some questions answered that I could not figure out online. They were patient and friendly and shipped the next day. I cant speak to the product bc it has not been installed but it did have the same level of blocking as rock wool but less dangerous.

Great Product but shipping is too expensive
The material looks great. The only issue that I had was that the shipping price was outrageous. It doubled the cost of the insulation. That being said, it is a great product.

We continually monitor online sales to ensure that the UPS shipping calculations are correct, unfortunately, Quiet Batt Cotton insulation does not weigh a lot, it is the size of the boxes that cause the high shipping pricing. We have worked closely with the third party shipping companies that we use to try and keep the rates as reasonable as possible, due to the high volume that we ship, we are able to pass along a significant discount to our customers.
It looks like when your order was placed on 3/22/2021 that the shipping charged was rather high and subsequently, incorrect, it did not have the discount applied. Our team saw that and it looks like your purchasing credit card was credited $171.91 on 3/23/2021, which would have been the difference from the original amount charged and the actual shipping charged by UPS for your order, changing the shipping from $413.84 to $241.93.
I do apologize that you were originally charged the incorrect higher amount, but am very happy to see that our team saw the order and in less than 24 business hours corrected it and had your refund processed.

I ordered a sheet of sound proofing for a cabinet generator and an e450 Ford. The order came the next day which was shocking to me. I figured it take a week to receive. I also receive fast help on the product that would be best for my application. The service was fantastic. The product works, was easy to install.

Five Start Company
Time to time, doesn't matter who is the Company you doing business with, the problem may take place. But what matters most is how this Company will address the issue. And here is where Soundproof Cow really shines! My order, because of computer glitch, was sent to a different address from where it was expected. Soundproof Cow stuff had jump in right away to solve the problem. Shipment was rerouted right away, we received the product on time and our work was completed as scheduled.
As for the product; we used Quiet Batt™ Soundproofing Insulation for our project. Had it installed in Master Bedroom area. Problem was noise coming from located nearby CSX railroad track. Great product, really works. It helped to take care of this problem.

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with you Quiet Wrap purchase, we do see this was an online purchase, we would like to extend the offer of speaking with one of sales team members to see if anything additional or perhaps questions about how the wrap was installed could be asked / answered to get to the bottom of the issue.
Quiet wrap is one of our top sellers, it is very rare that we hear someone is not happy with it's performance. Sound travels the path of least resistance and if there are any gaps in the wrapping or areas left exposed sound will escape there. Think of a the wind blowing on a window that is not sealed properly, a simple touch will confirm the air is passing through those non sealed areas, sound works / is transferred in a similar manner.
We would be happy to discuss to see if there is more that could be done to suppress your sump noise.

Trust is a problem
I think this is a good product, however I placed my order on a Saturday and it was confirmed that day. I needed it by Wednesday of that week so I paid for 2 day air thinking that perhaps it would arrive Tuesday. I had a time sensitive project that I was going to use it for. I called Wednesday afternoon when it still had not arrived. I was told by the person I spoke to at Soundproof Cow that my order was out for delivery. I thought it may come late Wednesday night. We decided to leave the part of the project open so we could finish up Thursday morning. The delivery came sometime in the afternoon on Thursday. I know that this can be debated that this was a delivery problem. If you are running an online business you are responsible for delivering a good product and getting it into the customer's hands. I paid extra for freight and the product is not cheap. This company may try, but they can't be trusted if you have a deadline.

I am sorry to hear that you feel you had such a terrible experience with our company, and upon researching, your order was received over the weekend, we are not open, nor do we ship on the weekends, and up until recently, neither did Fed Ex (Saturday deliveries) and UPS only delivers on the weekend for Amazon. Your order was processed on Monday, 3/8/2021, your invoice with tracking number was sent to you on 3/8/2021. Upon running your tracking number in UPS it appears that it was delivered to your ship to address on Wednesday, 03/10/2021 5:44 P.M, left at your front door.
Unfortunately, we have minimal control over a package once it leaves our facility as we use UPS and Fed Ex as a third party vendor. However, in this case, you did pay for UPS 2 day air, the order was picked up on Monday (UPS and Fed Ex state that pick up day does not count as a day of transit, unfortunately not our rule), transit day was Tuesday, delivered Wednesday, that is 2 day delivery according to UPS.
I do apologize if the delayed delivery of one roll of Quiet Wrap disrupted your project, I truly wish there was more that we could do when it comes to shipping options, the nation is very limited on available companies to work with, perhaps in the future consider overnighting material if the job is that time sensitive.

We continually struggle with shipping costs, often the weight of our materials are not the issue, it is the size of the boxes they require to ship, causing oversized box fees for ground shipping.
We use UPS and Fed Ex, providing the actual cost to customers, meaning we do not inflate the price. We do try to monitor shipping charges, and have been known to broker out quotes if something seems extraordinarily high, I apologize if this was the case and our team missed reaching out to you.
Shipping, as well, as other products and services seem to be on a rapid escalation, for which we have no control. Window Soundproofin
We've purchased soundproofing products from soundproof cow before and have been pleased with the results. The staff there is helpful and honest. They won't sell you something that won't solve your problem.
We bought the mass loaded vinyl and the 3" thick rolls of sound barrier to created window plus for sound blocking.
We had bought the mass loaded vinyl without the peel and stick option. You have to supply your own adhesive. If you can, go for the peel and stick, it's so much easier, cleaner and faster process - - works really well.
Of course price is always an issue but for the the quality of the material, it's worth it for us.
