Definitely recommend
Very friendly and helpful people. After waiting over a year for an appointment with the NHS to have my NHS hearing aids adjusted I gave up and purchased some from Sound Advice. The difference is amazing. I didn't realise how bad my hearing had got!

Reduced waiting times are, indeed, just one of the benefits of an independent audiologist. A year wait for an adjustment is not very practical at all. So please rest assured that if you require an adjustment in future we will fit you in at the earliest opportunity.

Hear the Birds Sing Again
I have been lucky to hear well for most of my life, however, now in my 80’s I have found not being able to hear properly, particularly when in company, very frustrating and isolating too. It is therefore truly reassuring have an audiologist as competent as Louise now at the Parchment Street Hearing Centre. Not only is she an obviously caring person, but she is extremely thorough and meticulous, adjusting your chosen hearing aid with huge care in order to give you optimal hearing. Truly nothing seems too much trouble for her.

Persistance in getting the right solution
Louise and the Winchester team encapsulate what a local independent audiologist should be: friendly, good listeners, good communicators, and solution focused.
I have had four appointments and have been given two different styles (and suppliers) to test and evaluate. Having a choice is a standout compared to high street chain audiologists who tend to have one prefered product supplier.
Louise's skills in matching the problem with the solution is no fluke as she has great professional qualifications and a personal knowledge of the hearing challenge.

Professional, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. No pressure to buy but enthusiasm to get it right. So different to the high street "nationals." This is my third set of aids so i have experienced all the highs and lows of previous purchases.

Thank you very much for your review. Our audiologists are sometimes out on home visits or assisting at other branches. This is why our reception staff are so important, they are able to assist with so many queries and some levels of servicing of the aids too (depending on issue and model etc).
If you do ever require a direct appointment with the audiologist for a free hearing test, or to discuss new hearing aids, we advise calling in advance to secure an appointment.

Professional and trustworthy
Sound Advice Hearing were very professional and I felt I trusted them. They took their time to evaluate my hearing and advise me of the hearing aids which would suit me best. I did not feel under pressure to buy, but I did purchase the ones that were recommended and am pleased with them.

Excellent customer service
I cannot recommend Sound Advice Hearing in Hull highly enough. I have used them for many years and recently needed some new aids. It took a few visits to get the right ones for me but on each visit I received exceptional service. Patience, kindness, professionalism and excellent customer service are just a few words to describe my experience. Big thanks to Steve and Lyn who are a great team.
You won't get personal service like this from the high street providers.
