I got a procedure last year and its was horrible.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE... They promised that if you're unhappy with the results they can totally repeat all the procedure again....
Thats a lie.... The Dr. Give you soooo manyyyy excuses,of why she won't do it again... Is super expensive and they promised an ideal body but nooooo. FAT LIE...

The care I received, has been phenomenal. Everyone is kind and professional. I feel cared for. I'm 1 week post op lipo and AbEx. I'm swollen but I see results already. My surgeon, Dr. Javan, in my opinion, is the best plastic surgeon. She went above beyond, sculpting my dream body. She's like my Fairy Godmother. LOL. I am beyond grateful. I'm a fit distance runner but I had loose skin due to being a mom of 4. I can't wait finally wear my bikini with confidence this summer 😍 Thank you!

I look like Frankenstein. I am lumpy and scarred. I never got follow up care and I didn’t get what I paid $7000 for, not the procedure they had me written down for and was told to come back they would that particular procedure separately. It did not get done at all. It hurt like hell! The needle to numb and the one to do the work were in two different places. I felt everything on the left side. Nobody ever talked to me again until I finally called them and asked to see my before pictures. Lexington said Cincinnati had them and Cincy said Lex had them. I can’t even have them emailed to me. They won’t do anything but they offered a lymphatic drainage in an air suit for an hour they said was worth so much money. Literally does nothing but waste time and drive miles. I came out far worse than going in and I can never show my stomach area again. I am not over weight I only wanted a fat roll sucked out. I won’t let my bf touch my belly he has no idea why and it’s affected my personal life tremendously. I’m out $7000 and have scarred puncture wounds, lumps and bumps and pain and embarrassment admitting I tried this company and was so naive. If you go thru with this get your before photos if something goes wrong, and it will, you will have proof you didn’t look so bad to begin with. Email me for questions. I left with a ton of added fluid and weight! Once the swelling started to go down it was a little better. Returned for the required follow up visit to expose the results. They took out more on one side than the other and left most of the fat. I asked how can they fix the error and actually get the flatter tummy, and I was told I have to lose more weight before they could go back in. List a lot of money on this one. The doctor left the company and the other doctor advised they couldn’t explain why the doctor did so little but needed more weight loss before they could fix it. So disappointing! Felt scammed for sure!!

DON'T JUST WALK AWAY...RUN! The pretty little sales rep "Danni" who flew in from Tennessee was damn good... she fooled me, and I thought I was smarter than that... She misrepresented post-surgical downtime, misrepresented recovery time and symptoms, minimized potential risks ("We have a 1% complication rate," she assured me at least twice). Promised I'd be healed in time for an upcoming vacation - lies! So .. she got her bonus (the nonrefundable deposit) which was really all she cared about (may she choke on it). The surgeon might as well have been a machine/robot given lack caring and concern. Had to cancel an overseas trip that had been planned for 18 months and was fully paid - huge disappointment. She promised I would be healed up and doing great in 3 weeks or less... that was a lie. Nursing staff was poorly trained and seemed to be reading from a script whenever I called to ask about worrisome symptoms. When I was running a fever and developing an infection, they just told me to go to the ER. The surgeon never called, no follow up. Suppose he got paid so that's all he cared about. Terrible customer service. Wretched experience all around. I wish I could get a refund because of the misrepresentations that ruined my travel plans, cost time from work and caused untold pain, anguish, fear (and TBH, guilt, because I should have known better). I got scammed. If I end up in the hospital, I will be suing them. Shame on these people. I wouldn't be surprised if the company is owned by Private Equity since all they care about is the money, not the patients.

It's been about a year and not satisfied with my results. I have an uneven lumpiness from the reduction/removal of my stomach and waist. The amount of reduction is compared to about an inch of weight loss, Maybe. Such an invasive procedure and it only looks like I've lost a minimal amount of weight over my stomach and waist area. I could have committed to a workout and lost a full body of weight. For me this was not worth the investment, period. I know other people that have gone to Florida and had the same procedure done and with more needed and and their results are flat smooth and shapely. Not recommended. Also experiencing pains when I work out in my stomach area severe sharpness that will make me have to stop and hold it until the pain goes away. I was told I should contact my primary physician when I've never had this problem in my whole entire life, okay.

Jodi who handles eastern sea board from her claims. Dosent allow you to see and meet the surgeon!! Run while you can !! Any surgical center who demands payment from a non credentialed person, nor allows you to meet the surgeon is scary !! Then they lie saying they offer military discounts, but then jodi says they dont. Then theyres no real customer service to contact. End all be all is “jodi” she will also over book and make you wait way past your appointment!! Then shel come out barking in front other customers that are waiting past their appointment time and tell everyone “its 7-12 thousand dollars” without seeing you and makes you feel opposite of comfortable !!

People let’s be real, you see the commercials and you have to know this is not real! No one day wonder at 10k is going to make you look like that in one, two or ten sessions. It doesn’t make sense and if it doesn’t make sense it’s not true. All that skin is not going to go away that easy. Do your research and better understand the procedure. It’s such a hoax. It really should be a law suit on fraud.

DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!! THINK TWICE, think thrice, and THINK AGAIN!!!!!!

I can agree with so many 1* reviews, and the only reason why I have given them 1* is because there is no option for no stars!!
They definitely blow smoke up your ass when you go in to see your 'sales' person!! I did do my research, was satisfied with the surgeon that they assigned me, even though I was very nervous to go ahead with the procedure. A week or so before my surgery appmt, they changed my surgeon to someone that wasn't even listed on their website, so I had no way to research whether he was any good, and was pressured to accept him as my surgeon, due to the 'offer' that I had signed up for to have my surgery before the end of July!!
I was never advised to get post op massages, however my own research had brought me to the conclusion that I should. I had an AWFUL experience receiving the second faja that I was supposed to get sent, and didn't get it until at least 4months post surgery!!
At my first couple of post op appointments, I only saw a nurse who weighed me and took pictures..... I obviously still had a fair bit of swelling that I expected. By my 3rd post op appointment, it was becoming obvious to me that the sharpie that the surgeon had used to mark me on the day of my surgery, had bled into the incision sites and was now very much within my skin like a tattoo!! They gave me some tape that I applied religiously for weeks, but NO CHANGE! Their treatment of my concerns never seemed to be taken seriously at all!!
I requested a consult with the surgeon, as not only was I still concerned about the sharpie marks in my skin, but also that my stomach was very lop-sided with a very visible lump of subcutaneous fat (which should have been removed!!) They cancelled my consult with the surgeon on at least two occasions via text, and never called me to reschedule. I tried to call several times, and was told someone would call me back..... they never did!
I saw my Primary Care doctor for my annual, and he also assessed that what I was seeing as a lump of fat that should have been removed, was indeed the case.
When I eventually saw the surgeon his attitude was very blasé regarding my concerns of my lumpy stomach area, and said it was 'the best outcome I could expect!!" He was all about disregarding my claim that the marks in my skin were from the sharpie he used, but agreed that he would have me back in to get rid of them!
Someone was supposed to call me to book me in to have the fix, but you guessed it, NO ONE CALLED!! I again tried calling to get an appointment and on 3 occasions got told someone would call me back!! Eventually someone called, said they were still trying to 'work out schedules, but will call me back'..... over a month later, still no call, still no fix and still very unhappy with my results!
Did I expect my results to be better, YES! The ad's, the staff etc, all give the impression that you will have AMAZING results!!!! Did I expect better customer service and post op care, YES OF COURSE I DID!!!!!! It is no small chunk of change to pay for this kind of procedure, and very scary for some of us!!
Do I regret it? ABSOLUTLEY!! I have permanent marks within my skin, and a lump of fat that is very obvious on one side!
I could name names, but would that make me feel any better? Probably not!!!!! This review is just to make sure others don't have to go through the same awful experience!!!

5 months after surgery and I’m exactly the same size and measurements. I talked to the doctor and he kept telling me “I did everything I said I would do, there is nothing else I can do.” I felt he got very irritated when I kept asking why it didn’t work for me. All I got for my money was a huge scar. I’m going to have to find another doctor who can re do the surgery. Not a happy camper

PLEASE, go to a real plastic surgeon if you want lipo. Sono Bello are professional legal crooks. The Doctors are not skilled or board certified.
Only Doctors who can’t get in a practice or hospital work here.

Wow, where to begin. While the in office staff was very kind, my experience was a literal nightmare. Let me try to summarize all the discrepancies between what I was told vs what I experienced.

They tell you that your down time will vary, but you should be back to normal activity in a week. 8 months later I still have a number of shooting nerve pains that will stop me in my tracks.

I don't think I fully understood the implications of what being awake for this procedure would be. The discomfort was so intense, and pain so sharp, they gave me more meds while I actively had surgical tools inside my body. These were not IV meds but oral, so it took a while for them to make any impact on my pain. I still have nightmares about being on the ice cold table in that ice cold room, being told to roll over so they could work on my back.

I was never warned about the numbness lasting between weeks and months. In fact, the numbness was never mentioned until after the surgery. I hated this feeling most of all. For me it lasted nearly 3 months.

The nerve reattachment was also much more intense than anyone mentioned. I feel like no one said anything about this until AFTER the proceedure and I was complaining and told it was normal.

I have had no change in measurements, and my weight actually went up, because my incision sites (despite being told that they were healing perfectly) were so very painful, I was in bed for nearly 3 months after the procedure. The idea of working out was so far beyond the possibilities of what my body could handle, I gained weight.

So here I am, 8 months later.... still paying off this insane debt for a traumatizing nightmare that did nothing to change my body in a positive way. Devastated is just the tip of the iceberg. I will never reccomend this service and will always warn people. If I had known about the likelyhood of this, I would never have wasted the money.

Did not lose 1 inch off my waste, nothing off my stomach. I looked the same before and after. When confronted about this they go right to "Oh well you have the right to some sort of a correction FOR MORE DOLLARS!

NOT impressed with the surgeon or anything else for that matter. I had my procedure about 15 months ago. I was not able to talk with a surgeon about the antipcated results or limitations until AFTER I paid for and scheduled the procedure. Then I met Dr. Sobrino at Bellenuw WA. location and was told a resident would be attending the procedure as well. The surgeon's bedside manner was awful and he was rude to the resident. I was not asked to consent for a resident preform the procedure and although it was made clear THE DAY OF, that I should not expect an improve of symmetry, I was not expecting for the symmetry to actually be made worse. I now have some very obvious contouring issues on the belly and thighs. The results were FAR less than I was expecting. I have been trying for three months to review the results with the surgeon and the clinic will not call be back to schedule anthing. I got a couple of text messages asking if I could come in during time that I was unavailable, but when I asked for a phone call to make it easier to talk about scheduling, the office assistant ghosted me.

I have a divet in the lower abdomen that was never there before. There is some weird shaping of the inner thighs that is alo not symmetrical (worse that before) and no skin tightening even though the surgeon seemed to think I wouldn't need it. The exact things about my inner things that I didn't like before, is still there. All the adavertisements about liposuctions will also mentioned a free skin tightening procedure but it was never offered to me.

I am now paying additional money elsewhere to see if improvements can be made. I have had professionals from two offer clinics confirm the contouring issues and tell me how much they don't like lipo suction.

If the surgeon really doesn't care about the results you want, I would definitely not bother going there.

Sono Bello appears to be part of a company who sends relentless emails. Even if you unsubscribe, having never signed up for their emails in the first place, the emails continue to come. I wouldn't trust such an unscrupulous company with my body. Be very careful. Absolutely terrible and desperate business practices.

I was a patient in 2020 and 5 years later am still dealing with the aftermath. I had several procedures done and so the advertised “in one visit” definitely didn’t happen. Right away I had issues. First off, your consultation is done with salespeople that are not in contact with the doctors and as far as I know, have no medical training. Their only job is to sell you as many procedures you’re willing to buy. You have to pay upfront before any of the work is done, and all this without once speaking to the surgeon who will be working on you. You should also be aware of their very strict refund policies, as in you probably won’t get one. Another strict policy…sign this non-disclosure form and don’t give bad reviews.

I paid up and met with my “team” which consisted of ever changing nurses and my doctor. The mentality at the office made me very uneasy. Because of Covid I was not allowed to have anyone with me and that made me feel very vulnerable. The mentality of the office was very much starve yourself skinny. When discussing my procedures the doctor said I was obese, which was the medically correct term but not at all kind. When I explained my many autoimmune diseases he said he didn’t believe that disorders like Hashimoto’s had anything to do with my weight and it was all about my eating and exercising habits. Anytime I asked questions he seemed impatient with a “roll your eyes” kind of reaction. I ended up talking more to the nurse than him as I got tired of being quietly belittled and bullied.

I went through 2 procedures and by the end I was not satisfied with the results. My abdomen was lopsided, with a large lump on the right side. I also still had the back bulge under the bra, which was supposed to have been specifically targeted. I spoke about this to the nurse I trusted and she assured me that if after 6 months I was still dissatisfied they could do a follow up procedure to fix the issues. Swelling did go down but the lopsided and back budge remained, and when I asked to have that third promised procedure done I was told I was fat and no, they would not do it. Furthermore the surgeon informed me that I would have to have skin removed to get rid of the back buldge and that liposuction alone would not do the job. I would need a different type of procedure to handle that. Unfortunately this was not revealed until after the first procedure meant to fix it. Why you ask….MONEY!

Another rule…you must be 5lbs within the range of the weight you were at the time of the initial procedure. I was but was still denied. I tried to speak to the nurse who had covered my recovery and acted as my advocate but was told she was “unavailable”. I never did see her in the office again after that.

Seeing no other way to fix the issue I posted honest reviews about the situation on Google. Almost immediately I was contacted by the office’s patient advocate. Where was this woman when I had needed her previously? In order for them to even consider a third procedure she suggested I cut my caloric intake by half to bring down my weight, and then half again if I wasn’t seeing enough progress. She’s not a nutritionist as far as I know and had no knowledge of my medical needs and background. This was a very foolhardy and dangerous thing to suggest. So I posted an Update to my Google reviews. Again I was contacted by the office. Turns out that ANY TIME a bad review is posted it’s her job to follow up and get the review removed or changed. Great for company PR advocate, not so much for a patient advocate.

Surprisingly I had a higher up from within the company call me and I explained the numerous problems I had been having. She apologized profusely and promised to stay in touch to get things done right. While I never did hear from her again she did get things moving and a third procedure was preformed by a different doctor who acted almost identical to the first, so I was definitely not impressed. All said and done it took the better part of a year for these procedures to be done and healing to occur before I could enjoy my final results.

5 years later and not much has changed. I had the mommy belly removed and lipo to my upper abs, sides and back done. I am still lopsided with a muffin top that will forever be with me, occasionally have nerve pain in my abdominal incision, and still have the bra rolls. I wish I had spent that $15K in a real plastic surgeons office where they could have corrected abdominal muscle issues and done more helpful procedures that I actually needed.

I want to stress that every office, while under the name Sono Bello, operates independently of each other. So this review applies only to the office I visited and shouldn’t be used as a judge for other offices. I went to Columbus, Ohio. It’s possible the doctors I used are no longer there.

UPDATE: I did finally receive my refund. ORIGINAL POST: Spoke with Sono Bello rep and agreed to prepay for procedure to get a discount but I had NOT even met with a Sono Bello doctor. When I went to meet with their doctors two problems arose: (1) I had very high blood pressure (which I didn't realize) and the doctor told me I was a stroke risk if I had the procedure so he said I should work with primary doctor to control my bp which I did, and (2) a few months later after my bp medicine was adjusted and my blood pressure controlled I went back to Sono Bello but for some reason still had high bp there; also at this time the new dr I was given (the previous one no longer worked there) said I wasn't "that fat" and given the smooth nature of my skin I could end up with ridges/wavy skin. I also was feeling sick. So I cancelled and asked for a refund. They said they would get back to me. I said I understood if they needed to take some kind of deposit but I spent many thousands of dollars and I wanted most of that back. No response from them now. It's been months.

Everyone was great from the minute you walk into the office, Big shout out to Melissa (PCA) she made the entire experience stress free, took my worries away. She answered all my questions, always responded right away when I needed ease. Great asset to your office. I would recommend Sono Bello.

Reading the 99.9 percent negative and horrible experiences I definitely changed my mind. They should be prosecuted for the horrible things they did. Unbelievable they are still in business.

Several months post-surgery, I continue to experience significant abdominal bloating and persistent pain. I no longer feel comfortable in my own body—my clothes don’t fit properly, constantly rolling down below the affected area, which only adds to my daily discomfort and frustration.
This procedure has negatively impacted my quality of life far more than I anticipated. I would not recommend this surgery based on my experience. The physical and emotional toll has been overwhelming, and I regret undergoing it.
