Microsuction removal of earwax is performed under direct microscopic vision using tiny suction tube and instruments. It is a safe and highly effective procedure, preferable to irrigation due to significantly reduced risks and the ability to remove wax without pretreating with olive oil. This service is delivered by a British Society of Audiology accredited, ENT UK assured, CQC and HCPC registered practitioner.

I was very blocked up and could not…
I was very blocked up and could not hear in either ear. I was made to feel very relaxed and comfortable. The process was explained to me and it was not uncomfortable or painful at any time. I was treated with kindness and respect and I would be happy to go back if needed in the future.

Good Experience
The experience was excellent professional and welcoming. Everything explained to me and I was listened to. The procedure did not take long and non painful and wax was removed easily. I now have my hearing restored and would definitely recommend having micro suction at the Meadows.

Totally successful wax removal.
Steve was very thorough in his explanation of the process and carried it out with care and confidence. Everything happened as expected and the result was I had a successful hearing test a few days later.

A pleasant experience: Steve was highly professional and competent and also friendly and made me feel at ease (this was my first experience of microsuction and I was a bit apprehensive)
