SolidSpace.uk is the same company as The Rustic Grove. If you check out their TP reviews, it is the exact same story. The same business completely ignoring paying customers.

Adding to the reviews already posted here, hoping this stops anyone else from having the same experience.

I ordered a desk on 6th April. Chased a few times and was told it was definitely, 100% shipping on 16th April and I should have it the next day. Since then I have had no response to any emails or web chat.

I will be getting a refund via my credit card company, and ordering from somewhere else.

Similarly, to recent previous reviews. I ordered a desk on the 27th March. With a delivery date of a few days. I messaged about a week later asking for an update, they said it would be dispatched within days. It wasn't so I asked for an update and didn't hear anything back. And then probably another week or so later, I asked whether it had been made and if not, whether they would be able to adjust the measurements, they agreed at no extra cost due to the delay so I felt good again. It's now been another week or so and I've heard nothing, I've followed up every other day on email or on the chat and am not getting responses at all. Bearing in mind, before I purchased the desk and I was asking several questions about it, I got instantaneous replies. I've rearranged and redecorated my whole office on the premise of this desk arriving and it's no where to be seen.

If I could award zero stars I would!!
Like the previous review. I placed an order nearly a month ago and still no delivery. Customer service is virtually non existent. Excuse after excuse.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you actually want a desk and a professional experience

Ordered a desk on 18th March, I contacted them on the week of 6th april and I was told my desk would be dispatched Thursday the 16th citing production delays. This has not happened and the live chat hasn't replied to my attempt to contact them since.

UPDATE: received an email, this company is officially insolvent and has advised me to seek my money back via chargeback

Ordered a £400+ desk on the 31st that had a 5-7 day delivery! No email since saying its been built! Enquired about my order status through the chat and absolute silence. No phone number or email address!

Spent over £600 on a desk with a 5-7 day delivery promise.

Over a week later: no desk, no phone number, no response from only email I can locate, and silence on live chat.

Feels very much like a one-man band with zero customer service - no idea if the company is even still trading.

Will be contacting my credit card provider to cancel the payment.

Avoid until they can demonstrate they actually fulfil orders and respond to customers.

Ordered a desk 3 weeks ago, with the estimated delivery being 5-7days. Had a single response through their live chat saying a day it would be shipped, 3 days later... nothing. Terrible customer service, just hoping to receive it now at the very least.

The order was supposed to have been delivered within 5-7 days. That was two and a half weeks ago. They have no phone number, their email addresses do not work and the 'live' chat gives stock answers and does not respond in any meaningful way. So the money has been taken, the goods have not arrived and there is no explanation or way of finding out what is going on.

I love my desk. I got a huuuuge 3m long hunk of well finished wood and it looks amazing in my office. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The only issue I had was with the lead time - on the website it says a week from order to delivery. For me, it ended up being 3 weeks. I was slightly nervous about that as I'd tried two other companies providing similar desks and wasted 3 months!

However, I did get a text, and a delivery date with tracking. The desk was dropped off on the day and there were zero issues putting it together on my own.

In the end, I really like this desk and wouldn't hesistate to order another.

This is a great product and I am very happy with it. Well made, looks great and easy to assemble. Supports my under desk pc holder with no problem.

My only criticism is the information available on the website and the speed of contact from their customer services. They will always get back to you with helpful info, but it could be a while and it’s all done through chat bot.

The quality of the desk is absolutely second to none. The finish is incredible, delivery was exactly as planned and the couriers they used were brilliant on the day and in the lead up. I wouldn't think twice about using them again if I needed another desk. Brilliant.

Very good desktop. The delivery was a little bit longer, but it was worth the wait.

Positives:
- Large surface area.
- Study construction.
- Easy to assemble.
- Two man delivery.

Negatives:
- Not clear that the surface is not waxed/varnished, so it's quite rough.
- The gray option looks just to be painted on. The website pictures suggest it is the colour of the wood itself, so it's probably better to go for a natural wood option.
- My order is slightly warped towards one end, it raises up towards the corner.

Quality piece of furniture. Strong, gooks great and is easy to assemble

I had a few questions about this product which I asked through their messaging form on the website, got quick answers through there and via email.

The desk arrived quickly and appears to be very good quality, assembly was very easy and it's a perfect fit. I got the 230 x 80 cm desk. I'll update my review after a few months useage.

My only issue is that they don't seem to want to accept phone calls for "traceability", but it's not a big deal, they are very quick to respond to emails and the person I spoke to was very helpful.

Would definitely order from here again if I need another desk in the future. This company seems to be a hidden gem.

Simple and stylish. Quality materials, excellent communication and EASY to assemble. They are right—no swearing!
