The process was smooth, communication was excellent... until I wanted to cancel the proposal and was asking for a refund. I informed Solar Emporium of my intention to cancel, via email and phone call, during the cooling off period, which is totally OK as per contract. However it has been almost one month and I still have NOT seen my money back. Total radio silence from Solar Emporium without any response or reply to my follow up emails. I lodged a formal complaint email to them, it has been 5 business day with nil response. At least I expected a confirmation that they have received my complaint email and would try to resolve the issue. I have now lodged a complaint with Fair Tradings.

It rained on my original installation day.
I was worried I would have to wait days or even weeks to have it done.
But No, the very next day, 3 lovely installers arrived to do the job.
Friendly installers, they even repaired the broken tiles already on my roof as I had no spares to give them.

Everything hunky dorey. Communication, professionalism, etc. We were educated on the system by the installers. Main thing is, it works. Job well done.

Mitch was excellent throughout the whole process. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable regarding the product and the type of set up that would suit our needs.

Had a great experience with Solar Emporium. Our sales associate Vincent Phan was attentive and knowledgeable. Vincent was a great sales person, respectful and not pushy, made the process fast and easy. I will definitely recommend.

It was smooth and efficient right from the enquiry stage to the completion stage. All queries were promptly responded, and the project was accomplished exactly as per quote. In all it was a walk in the park.

Right from the start I would be informed of each step of way as it would take place. Explanation was made simple.

Extremely bad will not recommend at all had issue for 7 month with battery not working and still not working and empty promises I will be taking action .

good services reasonable pricing

A good company to deal with, a good price but don’t expect them to give you all the info you might need. You need to do your own research too and get other companies out to see your property, so you can learn more.i would pay for a technician to come out and see my property if i was doing it again. Things to think about for an install…prepare for up to a 3 month process as a worst case scenario to get on the grid: expect a month for them to get around to installing, a month for inspection paperwork and up to 40 days for the power company to do their part, that’s far longer than the one month all up that they may imply. expect to pay more for tilting of panels, and pay more for 30%+ sloped roofs, don’t expect to be told the best angle, find out for yourself based on the time of year and shading, don’t expect anyone to care about roof aesthetics except you (if your roof looks like a mess, the design is going to be on you) lastly expect your power company to offer you a meagre 3c per kwh and that most of your power might come between 12 and 3pm which at that time will mostly just go back to the grid. dont believe the savings you are told you are going to make unless you go with a solar friendly 20c per kwh power company.don’t buy a battery because an honest retailer will tell you, that unless you are needing continuous power back up for a hospital or something you won’t get your money back.

It dragged on at bit when Taylor was doing it but when the new person took over it was done in no time and would of given you 5 stars straight away

Friendly helpfull staff,great correspondence,let you know everything that was happenning and when it was being done,all relevant information regarding solar vic was supplied.

Great communication with me through the process from quotation to install, can’t fault them.

Good advice right from the start abd clear follow-through the whole process.
