At first I wasn’t sure abt their service. I wondered if it was financially motivated. As time has gone on and I’ve read, and reread their missives I have been grateful. I have felt much more confident with my decisions with their technical support.

Excellent, straightforward, thought-provoking materials to help you develop your solar-related plans. Well worth reading without any obligation.

Really appreciated the helpful service from these guys who are clearly passionate about doing the right thing for the planet and for our wallets

Great information which was given in small bite sizes.

There are so many solar comparison websites out there it's sometimes difficult to get reliable information without a sales pitch. This is where Solar Sherpa are different. It's a complete tool kit to help you navigate one of the more expensive decisions in life.

Yes, they can connect you to reliable suppliers in your area but it's the additional support that's so much more valuable. It gives you the questions and knowledge to help grill these solar suppliers.

Alex even reviewed my spreadsheet that contained all my quotes including ones that had nothing to do with Solar Sherpa. His insight has been invaluable in helping us pick the right solar solution for us.

Worth every star!

Provided a great insight into solar products and recommended 2 potential installers, great service and all for free.

Good at giving you advice via email. Which has helped my research.
Unfortunately when asked for a quote from local suppliers they sent my request to no one with a hundred miles. Now inundated with calls from places I’m not interested in. Such a shame.

Very useful advice delivered in manageable chunks.

Excellent plainly explained tips about solar and how to compare quotes
Highly recommend

Very timely advice in helping me select the best company and configuration of solar panels, inverter and batteries to suit my needs.
Plus a handy checklist to aid compiling my shortlist from the surprisingly large number of suppliers and installers who came out of the blue as soon as I showed interest in Solar PV !!!

We were impressed with the supplier recommended to us by Solar-Sherpa.

Solar Sherpa sent me three filtered-for-quality solar installation firms. One didn't get in touch, one was reasonably good, and the third one was excellent. None of them hassled me at any stage, and I got good advice from the excellent company, with whom I'm currently arranging an installation. Solar Sherpa themselves also sent out quite a few emails with advice and warnings about things to think of and things to beware of with solar companies. All of this for no charge: they are transparent about the fact that they collect a fee from the companies they recommend, but my impression is that they really do endeavour to recommend only good companies.

This service is legitimate. It genuinely is a couple of people in Sweden running it.

They introduced me to three professional and useful installers and I have chosen one of them.

Solar-Sherpa provided 3x companies who provided a first class response by getting in touch within 48 hours. Following initial consultation reports on panel number(s), battery type, costs & expected savings were issued by the 3x companies for deliberation.
What was extremely useful were email updates received from Solar—Sherpa that provided helpful unbiased advice on assisting in analysing the information presented so that an informed decision could be made.

Thank you both for input .It,s been very informative in giveing me good advice. Many Thanks Doug.

The information provided was extremely useful and well presented, and I would recommend anyone considering solar / batteries to use this excellent service. The recommended suppliers have also been helpful, and hopefully the chosen option will justify the recommendation.

Thanks Solar Sherpa.
Your guidance and honest no blinding technical talk approach , including the Companies you put forward, really helped with my journey to get a great System fitted by one of your Companies.
Well worth signing up with you. Thanks again.

Very useful guide to solar. Practical and informative, going well beyond recommendation, by explaining the reasoning underlying the purchase decision

Solar Sherpa provided 3 different installers, 2 of which quoted and one that I had no contact from at all. Went with one of those that quoted, now waiting for date for intallation.

Not what they say they are at all. Avoid. I - like another review on here - didn't notice that I was filling in a form for quotes. The difference is NOT obvious. There are notes throughout the form saying 'we won't pass on your number' and then lo and behold, I'm being contacted by three installers!

The first installer that contacted me as 'recommended' said that it 'wasn't possible to install on a flat roof' as panels need to sit at an angle. What?! Flat roof mounting, on an angle, is commonplace! The women had no idea and said they only install on slate and concrete tile and that flat roof was specialist. It's not. This is a supposed 'vetted' company. What a joke.
The website does zero enquiry to the type of installer you want i.e. I had no 'recommendations' for a local ONLY installer. They all operate nationally. Just not what they say they are and I have zero faith in the process. It's all just lead generation.
