Organic Irish Tallow Skincare - Handmade in Galway

I am a new customer to Solace. I have previously bought tallow products that I liked but wanted to try a local supplier. The products arrived but unfortunately 2 of the jars had broken lids that probably happened in transit I emailed the company with photos and they have sent me replacement products. So far I have to say I am very happy with the results and the quick customer service but will review again when I have been using for a while.
Would definitely recommend to anyone with psoriasis or similar inflammatory skin issues. Solace Bare Balm tallow is the first alternative to steroids I have used which has significantly helped my Psoriasis. Emollients, Vaseline and Moisturisers have failed to sooth flare ups in the past however the Bare Balm tallow seems to be the only thing which soothes and subsides my flare up.
Exceptional relief for ear dermatitis
I have diagnosed ear canal dermatitis with chronic itching and have tried multiple GP-prescribed treatments, including steroids, with little success.
After just one use of Organic Irish Tallow Bear Balm (fragrance-free, sensitive skin), the itching completely stopped by the next day.
No irritation, no burning, no reaction — just calm, soothed skin.
This is now a permanent essential in my care routine. Highly recommended.

I adore Solace! The tallow is absolutely fantastic. It was my first tallow product, so I wasn’t sure what to expect but it exceeded all my expectations. It is light, not greasy and a small bit goes along the way. I particularly love the fact that it is organic and handmade as it’s really important to me to have skincare like this! I got the essentials tallow which has all the key ingredients that I was looking for, but in one product instead of mixing a few so it’s great. A really great product, I’ll definitely be rebuying!

Usually scented balms and creams would irritate my skin. Even non-scented creams and balms specifically marketed towards dry/eczema prone skin would irritate my eczema causing me to constantly itch my skin which is absolutely not the point when you go to use these certain products. It would be a constant stream of apply, itch, apply and repeat.
After using the organic balm infused with Lavender oil on my hands my eczema was not affected whatsoever and for the first time in a long time the texture of my skin was smooth and lovely to touch, which doesn’t seem like a lot but when eczema is something that’s a big part of you it means the world and so much more!
If eczema, psoriasis or anything similar is something that affects you and puts you off buying a skincare product; let me be someone with firsthand experience tell you that this is a god send! Treat yo’self!

Been looking for a skincare product for my problematic, sensitive skin and could never find anything that really worked. I’ve been using the bare balm from Solace for a while now, and it’s been a game changer for my skin. I have psoriasis, and this has helped so much with calming my flares and keeping my skin soft and comfortable while reducing the appearance of it within weeks! The texture is amazing. It’s really buttery and melts into the skin while giving it a healthy glow that lasts all day. I apply it in the morning and my skin stays hydrated until night. After my evening skincare, I put a bit on my face before bed and wake up soft skin that looks and feels super hydrated. It’s been such a relief to find something that actually works and feels so nourishing on my dry sensitive skin that also manages my psoriasis. Wow what an amazing product! I’m super impressed with this cream, I suffer with psoriasis and it has completely helped heal the skin and leaves the skin super moisturised and glowing too! I absolutely love this Irish hand made product and you can tell the high quality level of the organic ingredients used in this the minute it touches the skin! It’s amazing and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough!
Wonderful Irish product. I’ve been using the essential balm for 2 month now once a day. It’s very moisturising I only need to use pea sized amount to cover my face and neck. My skin still feels hydrated after the day and I have no skin issues which I usually get coming into winter. I usually change to a more hydrating moisturiser this time of year and this product certainly delivers. The smell is lightly scented it leaves my skin incredibly soft and nourished. Works great before applying my make up. Highly recommend for sensitive skin like mine

The Bare Balm has been an absolute godsend. I have really sensitive skin and quite bad eczema, especially around my eyes and on my hands. Everything I’ve ever tried in the past has stung, made it worse, or done nothing at all. It’s the only product that actually soothes my skin instead of irritating it. Within a few days, the redness and dryness started to calm down, and my skin felt comfortable for the first time in ages. It’s now the only thing I can use that genuinely keeps my eczema away and stops new flare-ups from happening. If you’ve got sensitive or eczema-prone skin and nothing else seems to help, I couldn’t recommend Bare Balm enough.
I ordered the Essential balm from Solace skincare and it arrived quickly and well packaged. The product itself makes my skin so incredibly soft and I love that it can be used on different parts of the body. Would highly recommend and will definitely try their other products!
