We’ve had a wonderful experience with Software Academy. The lessons are well organised, engaging and enjoyable for children. The tutor explains Python in a clear, patient and encouraging way, making programming feel fun rather than intimidating.
My daughter genuinely enjoys the classes and looks forward to each lesson, which says a lot. It’s lovely to see her confidence growing while learning such valuable skills.

★★★★☆ Great one-to-one lessons that have really inspired my son
My 10-year-old son has been having weekly online one-to-one Unreal Engine game design lessons, and he genuinely looks forward to them every week. His tutor is engaging, patient and does an excellent job of nurturing his interest in contemporary game development. The lessons are well-paced, tailored to his ability, and have really helped build both his confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
The only reason I haven’t given five stars is that on the occasions when a tutor has had to cancel at short notice, Software Academy hasn’t automatically arranged a catch-up lesson. We’ve always had to chase this ourselves, which could be handled more proactively.
That aside, we’ve had a very positive experience and would thoroughly recommend Software Academy to any parent looking to encourage a child’s interest in game design and coding.

In regards to your concern, I would like to sincerely apologise that you had to chase us regarding catch-up sessions following tutor cancellations. We are genuinely disappointed to hear this, as it is not the level of service Software Academy is known for. We pride ourselves on delivering a five-star experience to every family, and I'm sorry we fell short on this occasion.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. I will be initiating an internal investigation to understand how this happened and to ensure it does not happen again—either to your family or to any of our other customers.
