Great service, clear snag report delivered within a couple days.
We used Snag My New Home when purchasing our first house, as we were worried after hearing stories about some houses having so many issues!
Our snagger turned up right on time and spent a good couple hours thoroughly inspecting inside and outside of the house.
The report was very clear and arrived much faster than expected, only a couple days. Very happy with the service.

We are really happy with the service provided by Snag my new home. The survey report was very detailed, with plenty of photos to illustrate each snag, and arrived less than 24h after the survey took place. Customer service answered all questions promptly. Would recommend!

Absolutely disgusting service
Absolutely disgusting service, avoid avoid avoid the guy turned up 1.5 hours late was completely uninterested, very very rude to my wife, didn't have the tools to complete the job. In the end we asked him to leave it was a Saturday we wasted half a day of the weekend and he just didn't want to be there awful company the people in the office on the wassap where the same, don't waste your time or money!!

We categorically reject this deeply misleading account of what happened.
We are not a company that subscribes to the idea that “the customer is always right” when that means our staff or surveyors are expected to tolerate unacceptable, disrespectful or abusive behaviour. Paying for a professional service does not make a surveyor anyone’s servant, and it does not give any customer the right to treat them as one.
Our surveyor travelled approximately two hours to attend your property, then spent approximately two hours carrying out the inspection. During that time, he had already identified more than 100 issues at your home. That fact alone completely contradicts your claim that he was “uninterested” or “didn’t want to be there.”
The inspection did not end because of a lack of interest or willingness to work. It ended because the behaviour directed towards our surveyor became unacceptable. Your wife’s conduct towards him crossed a line that we will not ask any member of our team to tolerate.
Despite the substantial travel time, the inspection time already spent at the property, and the significant amount of professional work already completed, our surveyor made it clear that we would issue a full refund. We then refunded you in full and immediately.
We therefore find it extraordinary that, after receiving hours of our surveyor’s time, having more than 100 issues identified, and receiving every penny of your payment back, you chose to publish a review portraying yourself as the victim while omitting the central reason the inspection ended.
To be absolutely clear: our service was not “disgusting.” What was unacceptable was the way our surveyor was treated.
We will always listen to genuine complaints, accept fair criticism and take responsibility where we fall short. But we will never sacrifice the dignity of our staff or surveyors simply to appease a customer, protect a rating or keep someone’s money.
Our integrity is worth more than your payment, and the dignity of our team is worth more than a five-star review.
We stand firmly by our decision to protect our surveyor, refund you in full, and end the engagement.
Extremely Knowledgeable & Friendly Snaggers! Highly Recommend!
My partner and I purchased the ‘Complete Package’ which included a pre-completion inspection and a post-completion inspection. We’ve now had both done so I can give our overall feedback.
Our encounters with the snaggers were brilliant. Elijah was very knowledgeable and thorough and took time to explain things and answer all of my questions. He was also incredibly personable too which helps when having a stranger come into your home!
The reports we received were detailed and allowed us to get the snags resolved with our developer. The use of their thermal gun also allowed us to see potential issues with our underfloor heating ahead of needing to use it in the Winter.
I would highly recommend getting a snag survey done from SnagMyNewHome as it provided us with peace of mind and from our experience they only hire quality snaggers. Can’t recommend them enough!

Highly recommended snagging inspection team!
Waseem and Lina were extremely helpful and professional. Waseem showed up on time, patiently waited for the site manager to arrive (who was late), then proceeded to inspect the home thoroughly. He was receptive to my inputs to capture specific things, and found a lot of important things that I missed myself, including small chip in a window glass, a large gash in the bin store door, and poor finishing on the under/hidden side of some kitchen structures. All of these items were important finds early on because I may not have found them myself, and if I did, it may have been more difficult and/or time consuming to get them fixed. In this case, I shared the report with developers and they committed to fixing. The professional report really helped, with clear numbers, images and descriptions for every issue! Thorough job - great experience!
Booking was really easy and ability to communicate simply via WhatsApp made things super simple. The surveyor arrived on time and did a very thorough job - 90 snags found and a really good quality report with photos sent to me by 10pm the next day which I could send on to my developers. Have already recommended this company to others! Thank you for making the experience nice and easy!
