Smokestack Guitars Ltd. Omdömen

A whole new different level of experience buying a guitar. Ed has a superb stock of wonderful high end gear, but despite being the other end of the country, he drove down in person to hand over the guitar and ensure I was totally happy with it. He gave a fair price on my part-ex. I'll certainly be keeping an eye out on the website for other stock he gets in as he has a great selection of ultra rare pieces.

Bought a Tom Anderson recently from Ed, exactly as described and set up perfectly.
Ed is easy to deal with, excellent communications and happy to discuss options as I changed my mind way too frequently!
He has a great range of guitars and at very fair prices.

Great selection of bespoke guitars and a true gentleman to deal with!

Ed is a true one-of-a-kind guitar sales guy. He represents Smokestack Guitars very well and is attentive to customers questions and needs.

In short, Ed was consigning a guitar that I owned 14 years ago, you know, the ONE that got away. I had been searching for this guitar everyday for the last 14 years. One late Saturday night, I saw the guitar come up for sale through Smokestack’s site. I reached out to Ed who was more than accommodating. In short, I purchased the guitar and had it shipped to the USA where it will always remain with me. The guitar was incredibly packed well and made it safe and sound.

Ed made the purchase fun, and walked me through every step of the way while it made its way through customs. I would not hesitate to purchase from Ed and Smokestack Guitars as he was incredibly detailed and descriptive regarding the condition and function of my guitar. A special thank you to the second owner, and collector who carefully stored my guitar in his vast collection for 14 years while keeping it in the same exact condition!

Ed, thank you so very much! You’ve certainly gained a customer and friend.

I found Smokestack and Edward whilst looking for a certain carved top Suhr, very glad I did.
Edward is possibly the most attentive and patient person I have met in the industry. Really knows his stuff and nothing has been too much trouble.

As others have mentioned he has a collection of amazing guitars - something for everyone.

I am so impressed that I am using him to sell some of my guitars.

Great service from Ed and the team. A very humble guy who has a fabulous range of very special guitars.

There is loads of choice with some serious top end kit for aficionados. A players dream. A collectors dream.

The guitar I bought is box fresh - in great condition, and we reached a fair price.

Smokestack Guitars. I think I have found my go to guys.

Smokestack not only offer high end, quality guitars but a service to match. From start to finish the transaction was very smooth and the personal delivery completed things nicely. Of course the guitar is immense! Would highly recommend all round.

I've never really had a go-to guitar shop, until now. Ed was beyond reasonable and after a quick chat in the afternoon, my new guitar arrived practically the next day (the morning of the day after) - probably the most securely packaged delivery I've ever received, by the way.
The guitar was perfect - the service was better. If I'm ever thinking of buying another guitar, Smokestack will always be my first stop.

Cheers, Ed!

Excellent service and communication. Great guitar! Thank you!

In my 20+ years of buying guitars I have rarely experienced such a high standard of customer service. Ed literally went the extra mile(s) to hand-deliver my beautiful PRS MEV which exceeded my expectations. Ed's prices are very fair, his guitars are immaculate and he has an extraordinary range to choose from. I have no doubt about his integrity and believe he will go far in this industry. I hope to buy from him again and have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone thinking of buying their next guitar. Thank you Ed for a brilliant buying experience.

Very helpful and gave me a very good price. I would highly recommend.

I've just traded a PRS CE for a PRS DGT with Ed and the process was very clear with very good communication. The DGT arrived the next day very well packaged and the guitar is mint. Highly recommended.

My first deal with Ed, I found him honest, courteous and quick to answer any questions I had.
The guitar was accurately described and even hand delivered, I would have no hesitation in recommending him and would use Smokestack Guitars again in the future.
5 **** service.

Excellent stratocaster as described. Great personal service and follow up to ensure all ok on receipt of guitar.
A pleasure to deal with !

Ed was great to deal with. Set a fair price and stayed in touch through the whole process. The guitar was sent overnight and was very well packaged.

Have had a few transactions with Ed at Smokestack. Always professional, always personable and always stands behind his words. Wouldn’t hesitate to do business again!

Very pleasant and efficient service from Ed. Communication excellent and packaging that would survive the holocaust! The guitar I bought is superb and exactly as described. I thoroughly recommend this company.

What a wonderful experience it has been dealing with Ed at Smokestack Guitars. He is an excellent young man and he has built up a terrific business. I would imagine it's only a matter of time before some kind of prestigious business award finds it's way to this superb business organisation. To say that Ed is a pleasure to do business with is an understatement! To use a phrase that I haven't heard for a while now, this is someone who goes the extra mile to provide a happy experience for his customers. Highly recommend!

Over the last 25 years of buying guitars and musical equipment I have never been as impressed with the quality of service and care in packing and shipping as I was with Ed from Smokestack.

An absolute pleasure to deal with, goes above and beyond expectations, excellent communication and amazing packing for shipping

I would never hesitate to buy from Ed and smokestack in the future and neither should you!
