Received a phone call from Smiths to ensure correct part was ordered and explanation of care when fitting, delivery was by Royal Mail tracked delivery postage was paid arrived on time first class company. 10 day delivery item arrived within 3 days Thank you.

I live in Jersey C.I. which adds a layer of complexity, or so I thought, to delivery.
Graeme assured me they'd dealt with this situation previously and it wouldn't be a problem.
I always knew I'd purchase my Ercol bedroom set from Smiths, it was simply deciding which one.
When it came to ordering, one item wasn't in stock but Graeme checked how long it would take and provided me with revised dimensions for shipping purposes within 10 minutes of our conversation.
My order has been placed and I excitedly await delivery, which I'm confident will go without incident if the service I've received so far is a measure of their professionalism.

It was my first time ordering from Smiths of Harrogate, I found the website on the internet and called the store to confirm some details. Paul was really helpful and managed to take my order over the phone. Such a friendly and professional service and lovely to hear that the company is a long standing family business. helpful, expert information about the mattresses but absolutely no hard sell. His explanations of the technical differences were clear so we feel we fully understand which product to chose. We were able to take our time and try a range of options and with Grahame’s guidance we feel confident we have made the right choice.

I placed an order and was given timescales for delivery. I have bought furniture from Smiths The Rink for over forty years and would not consider any other retailer as the service can not be beaten.

I have been looking for a reading chair for ages; very friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me to find exactly what I was looking for. Nothing was too much trouble, they let me try out all the functions and did not pressure me as I took my time deciding. Best of all, they offered to deliver it the same day! Can’t recommend Smiths enough , had a few issues with mattress purchase , Jamie dealt with the issue swiftly and professionally resolving the matter , transport manager Scott kept me informed on delivery dates and times , wish all company’s were as good as Smiths , 5 🌟

I was greeted by Frank Nickerson. He was very helpfull as we new what we were looking for. We were offered coffee and made to feel very welcome. We were invited to experiance the mattress we intended to buy, which was perfect for our needs.

Bought a £7000 mattress here, turned out it's not quite right. Out of 3 month exchange window (due not being in country). Sticking to T&Cs is understandable, if not somewhat unsympathetic; what will prevent me from buying here again is the patronising attitude and emails.

Eighteen months ago we bought an Alisia sofa bed from Smiths. From delivery we have been delighted with both the product and the service we received. Free two man expert delivery is an apt description and is invaluable when you live in one of the many three storey houses in Harrogate!
Recently the sofa bed was moved and a fixing was inadvertently damaged. It took just one call to Smiths and within a few days two expert delivery men, familiar with the construction of the sofa bed, were on site with their tools and fixed it.
Now that’s what we call service. Thank you Team Smith!

Paul Irvin was very helpful in clarifying and helping me place my order for Ercol sofas. I was pleased to hear from Paul that Smiths of Harrogate stock the whole range of Ercol furniture which is very difficult to see in my area. I hope to visit the store in the near future.
