I'm a healthcare professional and health nut who eats very cleanly and has always been slim and lean, but I developed a serious illness that caused chronic impairment of my endocrine system. Several years into trying to lose the 20 lbs I'd gained after being sick, I decided to give tirzepatide a try. After a lot of research, I found SlimDownRx, which seemed to have the most straightforward process and reasonable prices. My initial consultation with Dr. Hitchcock was pleasant and easy, and I received 3 vials within 10 days. Well, I went through that first 3 months and...no weight loss and barely any decrease in hunger signals...so, I presumed myself to be one of those people for whom higher doses are needed in order to reach a therapeutic level...and I ordered another 3 months of treatment...and lost only a couple of pounds in 3 months...but I had just reached the maximum dosage so I ordered another 3 months' worth with no changes in my weight or anything else besides my bank account balance. In the end, I lost about 2 lbs and nearly $3K in 9 months.

UPDATE 04/28/2025: I just discovered through having received a letter from a law office in Texas that the owners of this company have filed for bankruptcy. I did an online search and found the news stories so many reviewers have mentioned about Ousia Pharmacy and the potential for contaminated or otherwise improperly-handled peptides. I feel sure I received something other than tirzepatide given the complete lack of any perceptible benefit and zero adverse effects. SlimDownRx and Ousia were a scam.

SlimDownRx failed to notify patients that they had received medications from Ousia, leaving many unknowingly taking drugs from a pharmacy
under regulatory scrutiny. Eventually, the pharmacy had to relinquish their license.
Their misconduct is severe as they knowingly continued using Ousia Pharmacy for prescriptions despite being aware of its regulatory violations.
They jeopardized patient safety, which is unconscionable. They failed to ensure that their partner pharmacy was in compliance (lacking a sterile compounding license).

I bought 6 months worth of Tirzepatide from Slim Down RX, only to find out that the pharmacy they used (Ousia) is not licensed to do sterile compounding. I have used this medicine from another pharmacy for 8 months, and it worked great. I lost 4-5 lbs every month, and was never hungry. As soon as I switched to the SlimDown RX, all of my hunger came back, and I actually gained 5 lbs. Even though I paid them almost $2000, they refuse to take any responsibility for the pharmacy they chose (I had no choice in the matter of who filled the prescription.) Don't get scammed like I did. Find a reputable company and check to make sure the pharmacy they use is licensed for compounding. I am lucky that I only lose $2K. I could have lost my health, since I have no idea what I injected into my body from this unlicensed pharmacy. I'll be lucky if it was just water, and I don't get sick from it.

Scam. They use an unlicensed pharmacy, Ousia is NOT licensed to be dispensing any of these meds. They will take your money and sell you bathwater. Save yourself the headache, pay a little more and use a reputable company.

SDRX used a pharmacy (Ouisa) not licensed in my state and the pharmacy wasn't even licensed to compound sterile drugs. It insists that the drugs are ok because they were ostensibly compounded by a legit pharmacy...but it won't reveal what legit pharmacy.

Stay far away from them.

I am trying to get a replacement vial from a licensed pharmacy and they keep sending a canned response. I don't care if Ousia has a label indicating it was centrally filled, so it's safe. They are not licensed to send RX to Michigan and they will not say with compounding pharmacy filled it. And when contacting the other compounding pharmacies they deny filling anything for Ousia.

Absolutely terrible Telehealth provider. Uses Quisa Pharmacy to fill weight loss prescriptions, an unlicensed pharmacy under investigation by the department of health. They will tell you it is a licensed pharmacy but it does not have a sterile compounding license. Beware.

Absolutely horrible! Their pharmacy is not a licensed sterile pharmacy. They do not respond to emails!!!! They do not care about their patients. Run from this company!

Slimdownrx uses Ousia pharmacy that is not licensed for sterile compounding. I’ve reached out to Slimdownrx several times and have not gotten a refund or my medication exchanged for compliant ones. I’m out $1,800 and SD has stopped replying to my emails. Find a different provider

I was a transfer from another. It was a quick easy process.

I began Tirzepitide with a low cost 12 week starter program from another supplier. When the time came to proceed I did considerable research and was impressed by the SDRx pricing and their willingness to provide multiple vials at different doses. Their cost per mg for the higher doses when using the 3@once option was the lowest I could find and availability of multiple vials upfront somewhat abated my concern the FDA might stop compounding again. The product arrived on time, cold, in the dosages ordered. The Rx transfer process went very smooth. You simply select “Book Now”, then the “Transfer Only” option to complete the required forms and payment method online. From there all communication is via email/text only, no tele-visit unless you want one.

Speaking with Dr. Hitchcock was easy and rewarding. He answered all my questions and concerns.

HORRIBLE COMPANY, KNOWINGLY USED UNLISCENSED PHARMACY TO FILL TIRZEPATIDE PERSCRIPTIONS! Not only did NOT inform patients of the fact their meds were compounded by a pharmacy UNLISCENSED to do so, but had been under investigation for compounding without a liscense and cited for unsanitary conditions and improperly storing meds, as well as NUMEROUS VIOLATIONS! Allowed patients to inject themselves with illegally compounded Tirzepatide, and actually has the AUDACITY to not offer refunds, and actually FIGHTING any attempts at chargebacks for patients not receiving what was advertised and paid for! The SAFETY Issue is absolutely UNREAL to be injecting medication prepared by a pharmacy NOT licensed to do so, with TWO prior FAILED investigations to get their special Sterile Compounding liscense! So went ahead and compounded anyways... And Slimdownrx made NO attempt to inform patients that their medications were illegally compounded, and are actually FIGHTING to keep from giving patients refunds for unsafe medication they SHOULD NOT USE! Despicable.
