Phenomenal skincare!
I started using this skincare line years ago when they launched their Inzincable SPF50. I haven't looked back since! Amazing is too small a word for how my skin has transformed since switching all of my skincare products over to Dr V's line. If you have skin of colour, trust me you NEED these products in your life! I now use the daily range, the triple action eye cream, inzincable, the body range, the hair range, the concealer, the vitamin c glow serum and the collagen sachets. I have also bought the hyperpigmentation kits (facial and dark circles) for members of my family. Trust me and just try it... you won't regret it!

BEFORE YOU ORDER ‼️
Hello, I placed an order on February 4th. Today is February 16th and I still haven’t received my order. I never received a confirmation email and when I tried to track my package it says it cannot find it. I sent an email from their website but when I press sent, it didn’t confirm they received my email. There’s no other way to contact them because there’s no customer service number. I paid almost $400 and have no idea what the status of the order is or if this company has viewed my concern. Please send me a refund or a new package that hasn’t been exposed to weather for so long since I spent a lot of money.

False claims, definitely leaves a cast
I ordered the inzincable sunscreen excited due to the claims of “no white cast”. When it arrived it was a lot smaller than I imagined. I tested it out and was entirely disappointed to find that it indeed did leave a cast on the skin.
The cast is more of a blue/purple tone which was very obvious and seems to get worse the more you reapplied. It’s also took a while to blend in, so I had to mix with another chemical sunscreen which defeats the purpose of wearing a mineral one since Dr V has been extremely vocal about being against. It also left me extremely oily. I emailed the skincarebydrv team and received no response from them stating I wanted a refund, no response for over a month.
When I tried to leave a review on the brand site it kept disappearing, anything 1 or 2 stars would disappear. I then left a review for 3 stars which appeared to be posted but then disappeared again. It’s been said they deleted reviews and I believe it as 3 of mine are gone and other reviews I read were deleted too. Wouldn’t buy again obviously and have now found a better performing invisible sunscreen.
I also believe many of the reviews are fake, there’s an abnormally huge amount of positive reviews because the real ones that don’t 100% praise the products (sunscreen) kept getting deleted.
I’ve also used the hydrating toner which I think is decent and hydrates but many toners do that so it’s not special. Lastly, I noticed that many products don't specify the percentage of certain actives or are very low. It’s not as high as it should be especially for skin of colour, yet it’s priced highly! Save your money.

As a mineral SPF50, the finish can vary depending on skin tone, skin type, amount applied, reapplication, and what it is layered with. While it is formulated to minimise white cast as much as possible for Skin of Colour, it may not appear completely invisible on every individual, and we appreciate your honest feedback that it looked visible and felt oily for you.
We would also like to clarify the review concern. All qualifying reviews are published after a moderation interval of a few working days, so they may not appear immediately. We do not remove reviews simply because they are 1 or 2 stars, and there are lower-rated reviews visible on both our website and Trustpilot. Our reviews are collected through an independent review platform following purchase, and verified reviews come from genuine customers.

I have been using the cera prep moisturiser and the inzincable and they are great products. This was my second order and I will be a regular bow.
Dr V knows her stuff and I have used similar products from other brands but this is priced competitively and I like that I’m supporting a new brand

Did Not Receive Purchase and Poor Customer Service
This review is in regards to order number 224359.
I purchased 3 sunscreens as a gift for a family member November 27, 2025. Around December 10, 2025, I noticed there was hardly any tracking information/ movement. Tracking page was saying the item shipped, but nothing more. I contacted SkincareByDrV to see what’s going on. Around December 18, 2026, I discovered my shipment was held by Canada customs on December 3, 2025. I contacted Canada customs and was instructed to ask SkincareByDrV and the shipping company 1) what Canadian courier was to deliver my parcel, 2) how was my parcel labelled, 3) what is the BSF124 number. Unless I have this information, customs cannot tell me where my parcel was/is held and if they still have it. SkincareByDrV stopped responding to my emails as of December 19, 2025. Even if there is no update, why not just say that? In my last email to the company, I clearly asked what their policy is for lost parcels.
The shipping company, DPD, has been far more responsive. They have responded to all of my emails - even if they could only say they have no update. As of January 10, 2026, DPD sent me an email stating my parcel has been lost in transit. They are to forward paperwork to SkincareByDrV, so I can be issued a refund. I’m hoping the process goes smoothly and they will at least reach out to me.
I bought the sunscreen because I believe in her products. I have recommended her videos and products to the majority of my friends and family. I know that things happen and I understand that, but to just ignore me when I bought a product from you is disrespectful. The experience has been both disappointing and frustrating.
I had a bad customer service experience and I did not receive my order.

Dear Abby, thank you again for your patience, and we’re very sorry for the delay and uncertainty you experienced with this order. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to wait so long without clear updates.
The parcel was held with the delivery partner, and despite repeated follow-ups, we did not receive further information. Communication was also slower than usual due to the Christmas and New Year holiday period, which meant it took longer to get responses from couriers and customs than it normally would.
We also want to acknowledge that we should have continued updating you while we were waiting for information, as we had done earlier in the process. We were not ignoring you, but due to staff holidays and an internal oversight, our follow-up communication fell short on this occasion, and we sincerely apologise for that.
As a result of the extended delay, the parcel was officially declared lost and we processed a full refund.
Thankfully, parcels being lost in customs or transit is very rare, but on this occasion the situation was unfortunately outside of our control. We’re truly sorry this happened and appreciate your understanding.

Just to clarify, we do ship to Thailand and to most countries worldwide. International shipping rates are set by the courier companies based on distance, customs processes and delivery speeds, and unfortunately these costs are outside of our control.
