Great fun!!! Ski, dance, drink… I highly recommend!!

Had a great time. The instructors were very good and reps were on hand when problems happened. The planned trips to Montreal and Ottawa were fun and well planned. Food and accommodation was ok. The company on the course was great. Overall had a very good time, qualified as a ski instructor and am a much better skier.

I’ve just finished the 10 week course with Ski Le Gap - BEST 10 WEEKS EVER. It was insane, from the teaching, to the skiing, to the weekend trips, and of course the apres! We all had such a blast together, and I enjoyed every single day. The instructors were amazing and personalised their program to every skier, so both my confidence and my ability improved so so much, leading me to complete both my Level 1 and 2 instructor exams! I couldn’t recommend the course enough, it was a very special group of us in a very special resort and I feel so lucky and grateful to have this experience. Thank you SLG ♥️🙌

The SLG 10 week experience was the best thing to happen on my gap year. I was able to take my skiing to a whole new level thanks to the amazing level 3 and 4 instructors!

I have so much to thank to Ant and the team for not only creating the best experience filled with amazing trips to Montreal and Toronto, but giving the opportunity to meet like minded people and the friendships formed from this course are unlike any other. The three months I spent in Canada was truly the best time and I made memories for life 10/10!

From start to finish, my experience with ski-le-gap was outstanding! It is up there as one of the best decisions i’ve ever made. Gave me the best 10-weeks of my life, i’ll be recommending it to anyone wanting an unforgettable season. I’d always wanted to do a ski season, and I can honestly say it went above and beyond anything that i’d imagined. The location, the people, the entire vibe - it was all perfect!

Ski Le Gap is one of my fondest memories in my ripe old 22 year old existence, I had a fantastic time, the skiing was next level, the people were amazing, Ant and the team along with all the ski instructors did a great job 10/10 recommend

I’m no Shakespeare so excuse my bad punctuation and writing. I came onto ski le gap nervous, as most people are meeting complete strangers that they’re gonna live with for months, and questioning if I was really going to enjoy it and get my moneys worth. Safe to say I did. Within the first 15 minutes, at the weatherspoons in the airport, I’d met a few people that I just seemed to gel with. Everyone was more than nice, didn’t once not feel welcome and the reps were great at pretty much everything I can think of. The lessons felt more like skiing with your mates, and the instructors did a great job of building our skills whilst keeping everyone engaged and excited. Weather was unbelievable, had countless blue bird days, but they are not exaggerating about the cold, my one piece of advice is invest in somewhat decent gloves! As for the nightlife and atmosphere at least something whether that’s a quiet movie night or a full on club until 4 am was happening every night so no fear of any boredom striking. Dinner and cooked breakfast was provided 6/7 days, with a packed lunch available and could not complain at all, on the none cooked day a general continental breakfast was provided and did the trick. My room had more than enough space and got cleaned twice a week by Andreas if I’m not mistaken which was a nice bonus. St jovite was always a fun little trip whether that’s was to go for dinner or for laundry whilst extremely hungover, and was a short bus ride or walk away. The trips we had were a blast, especially Montreal being packed full of stuff to do. Fact is I could write a novel about ski le gap and more. It was hands down the best experience I’ve ever been a part of and I’d do it all again.

Taking part in Ski le Gap 2025 was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had. The training was top-notch — led by Level 4 instructors who not only knew their stuff but made every session genuinely enjoyable. My skiing improved massively, and I left with my Instructor qualification and the confidence to tackle most runs on any mountain.

The vibe was brilliant. There was a great balance between having the support you need and the freedom to enjoy the experience with a fantastic group of people. The social side of the course was just as memorable, made some great mates and had some great laughs with them, had a weekend trip away too to watch the Hockey which was great to meet the locals and see some sites in Montreal, first time in Canada I'd 100% go again and would love to visit Tremblant again.

I made great friends, had great laughs, honestly would go all over again! If you’re even remotely considering it, go for it. Personally I can’t recommend it enough.

Overpriced, Misrepresented, and Poorly Managed: Avoid Ski Le Gap

I paid thousands for Ski Le Gap’s “Ultimate Experience” and received something very different from what was advertised. The programme promised 24/7 on-site rep support, daily organised activities, all meals, clean accommodation, and inclusive excursions. In reality:

There were no on-site reps, leaving us unsupported during serious injuries, including concussions, broken bones, and allergic reactions. Students had to get themselves to clinics or hospitals alone, despite the website’s promise that staff would accompany us.

Over two dozen advertised activities never happened, and several that did only occurred because participants organised them ourselves.

“All meals, 7 days a week” was false. Saturday dinners were not provided, brunches were not hot, and only two of the four promised meals out were covered, leaving us with extra costs.

Accommodation was dirty and poorly maintained – with leaks damaging personal belongings, maggot infestations, raccoons scratching through the night, and even the chef’s cat sitting on open food.

Those who paid £1,000 extra for single rooms saw others get them for free – with no refund offered.

When we raised these issues, management largely deflected, avoided direct answers, or blamed outside factors. For the cost of this programme, the gap between what was promised and what was delivered is unacceptable. The only good part was the skiing itself – thanks to the instructors, not Ski Le Gap.

I strongly advise anyone considering this course to look elsewhere. There are far better-run, more transparent ski gap year programmes for a fraction of the price. Complaint emails were signed by 26/30 participants.

Ski le gap was the most incredible experience ever! I completed this winter as part of my Gap year and I loved every minute. I made some amazing lifelong friends, gained a level 2 qualification in ski instructing and spent 10 weeks in Canada! I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of or are taking a gap year and love to ski. The reps and company in general are so supportive before, during and after your experience and truly support you and want the best for you. Thank you Rach, Luke & Ant for the best winter ever!! 💝

Maisie had an the best time ever!! She made life long friends and loved every moment.
What an incredible opportunity to be amongst like minded people in a safe fun and beautiful environment doing something you love and gaining a lifelong qualification.
I was fortunate enough to join the gappers and the fantastic team for a few days and I can honestly say I had so much fun and a brilliant time. Especially at the Caribou!!! Ha ha! What a beautiful place to ski. Picture perfect.
To see my daughter and her peers so happy, busy and engaged warmed my heart. It is non stop and should not be missed.
Maisie’s most memorable moment? Closing the slopes with “the gang” as the sun was setting.

An incredible 10 weeks I will never forgot skiing in a great resort, being coached by some of the top instructors in Canada and creating amazing friendships along the way. I couldn’t recommend it anymore, it really was a trip of a lifetime!!!
