They were the only shop to show availability for the skates I wanted, Seba CJ Wellsmore 2 in a size 9... service was excellent, always available on the phone, always someone to speak to. I recommend Skate Britain and would use then again

Ordered a pair of skates from Skate Britain for my daughters birthday. They arrived super sharp (within two days) and the product was in perfect condition...my daughter couldn’t be any happier. The communication from booking to delivery was excellent. I would definitely recommend. Well done guys !

I ordered a pair of varsity blue skates for my son. The ordering process was very quick and easy, and the skates arrived shortly afterwards. They were carefully packaged and my son is absolutely thrilled with them. He’s been out everyday since. They are very well made boots-I can’t fault them. The service from Skate Britain was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend them.

After a sizing snag (totally on my part) my skates arrived, and they are so gorgeous! James was really helpful and considerate. It's a very, very hectic time to be ordering skates, and I think it's important to keep some perspective when it comes to minor inconveniences. My experience with Skate Britain was really positive. Great expereince with these guys. I ordered skates and they arrived with next day delivery (the £3.99 option). I had an issue with the sizing that they sorted with no problems and posted back again, with next day delivery. Really helpful advice on the phone too. Reccomended.

I ordered skates for next day delivery and payed an addition £12 for this service, I spent close to £300 for skates worth about £250 as skatebritain seemed to be the only company with them available in my size, I was interested to see if they would still arrive next day so I messaged them on Facebook messenger, the next day I received a reply saying “sorry, no, these skates have just sold out, can you hold for them?” I wasn’t best pleased with this news, I waited almost a week for the date they expected them to arrive in there delivery, I called them, and they did not arrive, I was told they should arrive the next day but yet again they did not arrive, I then decided to just refund the item and buy from another skate shop who finally had them(loco skate shop)

What I’m trying to say is, if time is of the essence do not go with skate Britain, as they will leave you waiting for skates that could potentially never turn up, the customer service was pretty good when you call there direct line, but don’t message the Facebook messenger. Also they have skates available on there website that they do not have in stock but have confirmed they will be delivered(sooooon) this obviously is an inefficient way of running a business as nobody wants to order an item only to find out the company also has to order the item as this causes massive delays in receiving said items, they refunded me no problem, so don’t think this is a scam website, I’ve still given the company 4 out of 5 stars as I’m not one of them people to ruin an online presence for a late order, very frustrated and won’t use again, but hope they can improve there system and not display skates they haven’t got available.

Skate Britain and James are a testament to the industry! They managed to squeeze me in for an appointment less than 24 hours after I got in touch.
James listened to my inline requirements and budget, suggested a pair, there was no need to try on another. Top notch service with impeccible inside knowlegde. I had 101 questions, every one was answered in detail.
Grabbed a pair of FR 1 80s (dont forget to buy some waxed hockey laces as well, they dont slip and get loose), and they've absolutely blown me away... Granted, anythings a step up from Decathlon MF500s, but I was initially hesitant as to whether the price was really going to be worth it, however theres a tenfold increase in comfort, speed, and responsiveness.
Amazing for urban skating (all kinds of surfaces), and slalom.
Too impatient like me to buy online and risk the size? (even though you can send them back and swap sizes) Just go to the shop and get it right first time.
Really impressed with the whole experience, and of course the skates!
Recommend SkateBritain to anyone.

Really excellent customer service. After skates I bought were out of stock the guys gave me some great other options and ended up getting me an even better pair of blades. I placed the order a month ago and the product did not arrive. I wrote Skate Britain twice but no answer. I hope my product comes to an end and I hope no one repeats my mistake.

I’ve recently started teaching my fiancée to skateboard so we can take our daughter to the skate park. After her first major fall I started searching for a couple of pairs of knee pads. Skate Britain appeared to be one of the only companies that looked like they had S1 pads in stock, plus they offered money back next day delivery. I ordered two pairs of knee pads, one pair of elbow pads, and paid for next day delivery.

I was initially hesitant to order through Skate Britain because few non scam companies use a network TLD however, a bit of research showed they were a small, lifestyle business, just using an inappropriate domain.

Received an email saying my order had been dispatched however, when it arrived it only contained one pair of knee pads. There was no explanation as to where the remainder of my order was, nor any indicator when this would arrive. I had to chase them to find this out. These pads were too small too so I returned these to exchange for a larger size (Skate Britain are apparently ‘cool with returns’).

A second parcel was then dispatched, containing a second pair of knee pads, but again with no explanation of when the elbow pads may arrive, or when my replacement knee pads would be sent.

Initially they were fairly responsive in replying to my emails and asked for my patience while they waited for new stock. After a week of waiting I emailed looking for an update. After 36 hours with no response, I began to communicate through PayPal resolution. Despite me including the email chain showing them confirming they were still due to send me two items, they responded via PayPal, five days later, suggesting I had received my complete order. They then uploaded a tracking code of one of the earlier deliveries.

To receive the remainder of my order I had to escalate my claim with PayPal. After much delay and zero communication, a parcel eventually arrived with the remained of my order (over three weeks after my initial next day order).

Despite paying for next day delivery, at no point prior to raising this with PayPal had I been unreasonable or impatient. To date Skate Britain have never offered any explanation why this order took over three weeks to fulfil or why they ignored my emails. They have never refunded their “money back” next day delivery. They have never apologised for claiming the order had been fulfilled, rather than look back at the email chain, when I raised a PayPal claim.

No trust worthy company should have you seek a PayPal resolution just to fulfil an order.

Google shows many other skate companies before Skate Britain. Do not make my mistake and trust this company.
