It monitors and controls batteries, tanks, solar input, lighting, water pump, heating, and other appliances from a single panel. Nereide 2 is a digital switching solution for yachts, with PICO battery monitoring built in and NMEA 2000 compatibility. It is an OEM fit in yachts by HanseYachts AG, including Hanse, Dehler, and Fjord brands. The STR radar tank level sender series (STR1 and STR2) uses contactless radar technology to measure fluid levels in tanks, compatible with PICO and major third-party monitoring systems (Patent Pending – EP26171650.0). Simarine products are sold through an international dealer network, with full technical documentation and support.

Simarine STR1 Tank Level Sender
Simarine have produced a product (STR1 in my case) that I can only describe as “Brilliant”. Simple to install, integrate into new or existing systems or use as a stand alone application via the App as is my case. The App is also very well thought out and easy to use. Calibration using the App was simple and found to be 100% accurate.

The STR2 verion totally doesn't work
THe STR2 verion sending fluid level over NMEAS is broken. Support sent 2 software updates and after the seined the unit is now totally dead. No blue tooth and just address claims and product information broad casts every 8 seconds, completely abnormal behavior. Customer support is poor. They do not respoind, and if they do it takes several days.

Heel goed geholpen pakket was weg e-mail gestuurd naar Simarine deze heeft de handtekening laten zien het pakket lag op nr 18 in plaats van 8 en de watermeter is TOP een 10 voor Simarine

N2k connection is poor and support is worse
The str2 sensor was easy to set up and connected to the n2k bus for a few hours but then disappeared. The Bluetooth connection is fine but I don't care about that. I bought it for the n2k connection, which requires a complete restart by disconnecting the device from the backbone in order to bring it back to life.
I sent detailed information about the failure to support and received one response and have been ghosted ever since, which has been several days.

Tankmåleren er modtaget og installeret, den virker upåklageligt. Havde dog et par spørgsmål som jeg sendte til kunde mailen, men jeg har endnu ikke modtaget svar, så derfor kun 4 stjerner.
