I phoned Emma in the morning who was very bright and chirpy, advised me that my storage size had been updated and that it was ready for me to utilise. Upon arrival, Emma was very accommodating, showed me to my unit and gave me clear cut instructions. Very helpful, lovely and welcoming.

Top notch face to face customer service from the staff.
They were there on hand to answer any questions, sort out problems caused by out of action lift and really make the rental and drop off and collection as smooth and hassle free as possible.

We went in to discuss changing the size of our unit to something bigger and was given great advice on what size would be suitable for the best price. We were given tips on how to make the best use of the space and the whole process was smooth and easy!

Brilliant! And friendly and helpful. Lynne has been very welcoming. I was hoping I could downsize to a smaller unit after clearing some stuff. Lynne came up and assessed the size of unit my stuff would fit into and showed me a smaller unit. She assessed , with her experience , absolutely correctly and I am grateful all my stuff fitted in perfectly. Thank you so much Lynn.

I’ve had an extremely positive experience with Shurgard, and a huge part of that is down to Lynn and Emma.

They are both immensely friendly, positive and genuinely helpful. From the very beginning, they made the booking process incredibly easy, clearly explained how everything worked, and took the time to show me around, including the lifts, trolleys and access arrangements.

They also clearly know their stuff! They recommended a particular size storage unit based on what I needed. I decided to ignore their advice and go for a bigger one… only to later downgrade to the exact size they had recommended in the first place!

That says a lot about their experience and how well they understand what customers actually need. There was never any pressure to take a larger unit — just sensible, knowledgeable advice.

Lynn and Emma are an absolute credit to Shurgard. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and always happy to help. They’ve made the whole experience straightforward and genuinely pleasant. Highly recommended!

Since February 2025 my life has been contained in a 55sqft unit here in Horsham while my work took me overseas. The thing is, how do you review a storage business. You show up, pay some money, put your stuff in a unit and disappear until you need it again. Its actually pretty hard for these businesses to differentiate and do so mainly on price which is relative to their location.

Or to put it another way . . . the only way they can normally compete is on who is cheapest.

Yet cheapest is not always best. A fair price for assurance of ones personal belongings is worth more than a few pounds here and there. So for me its mainly about the value for money.

And at Horsham where the lovely Lynn and Emma meet you and take you through the quite straight forward journey of getting set up, also make it a pleasant one. There is something nice about knowing this lovely team are there day in, day out, looking after the facility where my belongings are kept safe.

It is easy to compare prices these days, yet Lynn and Emma are what give this company a solid 5 stars from me.

Emma at Shurgard Horsham was extremely helpful when we were moving in. Understood our needs for the unit to make sure we had the correct space I needed.

We used Shurgard in Horsham whilst we moved house. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Easy to use and if we ever need storage again I will be going straight back to them!

We gave two weeks notice to leave on 9th march but have to pay the rental fee and insurance until the end of April. 6 weeks extra money after moving out.

Shurgard has been provided excellent service so far. The staff I’ve spoken to have been helpful and informative; all my questions were answered as well as giving me advice about the size of the unit I needed. There’s the flexibility for me to move my belongings to a smaller unit when I need to. All well so far.

Easy to book online, good price, efficient service on site.

Excellent service from both Lynn and Emma, really appreciate their help and cannot recommend more highly if you need storage in the area. Premises are very well designed - the only feature I felt was lacking was perhaps some a/c in the office / reception area, as with the recent hot weather I felt sorry for the staff in there all day with just a couple of fans.
