The professionalism, care and time taken in giving the right advice was evident. It’s great to see the team work from both ladies ensuring the customer come first.

Excellent reception by the lady on duty at Gillingham shurgard. Accessing rhe facility was quite easy with the app and enabling the Bluetooth. Trolleys really helped alot to move things around smoothly. I'll always recommend Shurgard to anyone.

Have been with Shurgard for a while now, the service from the girls in reception has always been great, they even recommended and helped me sort a transfer after I had moved some of my stuff out. So thank you to them.

We moved units today and Amy and Kate were really helpful in showing us different size units to find one that was smaller to suit our needs. Thank you for all of your help😊

Pretty easy steps to get to my unit and the receptionists were friendly and nice by rendering the assistance I needed

I felt a sense of relief when i went through the Facility the first time yesterday. The level of security, the cleanliness of the facilities and convenience of Accessing your Storage space is so satisfying and reassuring. I’m happy that I chose Shurgard Self Storage to safely store my Belonging's. The Staff are very professional and helpful and I would greatly recommend This Facility to others for safe storage.

Really easy and quick process

Very clean and secure premises.

Easy to book unit online and at good prices with the discount and 1st month rate.
Good that you can do ID during online booking, though would be good if you could provide proof of insurance via this method too instead of having to go into office to obtain the refund.
Everything explained easily on how entering and exiting the storage unit works.

Good service on the phone and on site, rapid booking process and safety and cleanliness all around

I appreciate that the site team have little control over their head office procedures, but I won’t EVER use Shurgard again.

You have to give 15 days notice, before your next invoice. I get there are terms & conditions, but my dad died unexpectedly around the time of the notice. I also have ADHD, so when I am struggling with my mental health, my brain can’t process much.

Even though I told Shurgard this, I was simply told nothing can be done, and that I need to re-read the terms and conditions. Really helpful for someone who has a disability. It’s VERY insensitive and quite insulting when you’re told you’ve done something wrong, but you try and explain it’s due to your learning disability & mental health.

My dad’s death also has been stressful on us financially, and stretching us beyond belief. Which I’ve told Shurgard.

Not only this, I had to have my dog put down today too. I’m utterly heartbroken on top of everything else.

Have your money Shurgard Gillingham, but you’ve lost a customer and I won’t EVER use your storage facilities again! Thanks for the additional stress!

The whole process was very easy to book online and the follow up customer service call was nice.

Good for short term use. At 6 months, they automatically increase your monthly cost (keep an eye on the invoice emails). Mine went up around 30%. I decided to leave as the increase was too much. I've heard it's also every 6 months they will increase the price so best to avoid long term rental.

I also chose a 55sq foot unit advertised as 9x6ft, but was actually given 10x5ft and was told by the onsite staff that it's measured by the furthest part of the wall corrugation and it's actually still 55sq foot. This can't be right as it means they're overselling the volume. May not seem much but it's the volume of two washing machines I'm losing out on.

Other than the above, the access times were great, every day till 9pm was very useful, the site was always clean, plenty of trollys to use.

Shurgard did call me about my previous trust pilot review to find a solution but we didn't come to any agreement.

Arranged storage online, very easy. Had to make a change to my requirements within a couple of days. An email solicited a quick response with the changes. No hassle all very professional. The only negative to the whole experience is the additional insurance cost which are only provided at the latter stages of the process. In my case the monthly insurance matched the unit charge per month.

Ease of booking and keyless access. Finding my unit was straight forward due to the clear instructions sent in the welcome email.
Would have preferred if the premises could be accessed a bit later; currently not accessible after 9pm

really quick and easy to hire a storage room no waiting time easy to park and transfer goods to room by trolley which you have two choice types and lift if room not on ground floor.Staff very helpful with questions or problems.You pay to cover your goods on an insurance and can purchase padlocks with keys

Needed a storage space Asap, unfortunately it was Sunday afternoon, but to my surprise there was such an amazing team who was there to help me, they walked me through how the app worked, explained in grate detail all the details regarding security measures, policies ect, helped me book one online, I can’t thank the team enough for the help and support I was given I had never done anything like this before but I can’t stress enough about how helpful they was and just how patient they was with me.

The staffs were welcoming and nice. As soon as I completed the form online I received a courtesy call from them which I found to be very nice and helpful welcoming.
