Shurgard Self Storage - Deptford Omdömen 

Great location, clean, friendly staff (need to mention Bret who was really helpful and kind during the booking and on the moving day as well), easy access and great opening hours.

Top notch storage company and very simple sign up process

My experience with Shurgard Self Storage Deptford began well at the start of June with efficient check in & seemingly good, secure access procedure via the app. Unfortunately six weeks after the incident had occurred, I discovered that my unit had been broken into and the team at Shurgard were unaware that my unit had been affected (despite damage to the door AND having changed the lock for security), had neglected to inform me or other customers that access had been restricted, provided little information or apology that this oversight had occurred, and management was difficult to get hold of to discuss my experience of poor customer service around this incident. I must caveat this with a thank you to Fred from the on site team who was helpful on the day I discovered the damage to my possessions in the storage unit.

I had an issue with the system whilst booking online, as a result I made a phone call to their dedicated helping and I got through to Brett in Deptford branch whom swiftly acted and efficiently settled the issue and exceeded my expectations.

I would also like to note Adam from the Southwark branch was very helpful and chased up my order and showed me around and generally a helpful person.

So far the staff have been kind and helpful and the storage unit was easy to access and use. Its a clean and pleasant facility.

Very pleased with the service received at the Deptford branch. Staff are very helpful and patient and the whole system seems well organised and very secure.

I found the staff tired for the day. Literally I was begging for everything. I didn't even get a tour of the facility. The staff just gave me the keys and ordered me to go navigate the facility to my unit. It was a bit challenging for a first timer.

Unit is clean, easy to access, very clear instructions given. I would only appreciate more trolleys as it didn't look there were enough but probably because people don't put them back to their place on the ground floor.

Tim was really helpful, showed me everything in detail and was really nice and friendly. He explained everything very well and clear and solved all of my issues. He’s great!! Also, the place is super clean and taken care of. Thank you for the amazing service 😊

Excellent customer experience at the branch. Tim aided us from beginning to end with the same level of passion. He guided us through the available spaces, carefully elaborated the security systems, and addressed all our inquiries without any difficulty. He also took the time to summarise each of the paperwork and ensured we comprehended before signing the contract. He is certainly a valuable asset for the company as he made us feel comfortable and finalize the agreement. Thanks to him, we have confidence in the service and proceeded with it.

I’ve used the service before a year ago. Seamless and upgraded this time around with blue tech. A nice touch. The location is clean and the pest control is frequent. Tight parking for one of the biggest in London. But timing of the essence as it a popular site. Customer service was seamless as usual in a good way. Instructions were clear and precise. And I understood even though I have Dyselxia.

Tim was excellent - informative, friendly and accessible. Recommend him as the man who should take everyone on tours of the facility when people come to use storage.

Bret has handled a few of my accounts and has always been polite and professional. He has very good patience and takes his time to explain policies and procedures.

We wanted to shift from our current storage unit to a bigger unit and Bret made the whole experience smooth, he even went the extra mile to allocate the new unit closer to the old one.
