We have had a great experience with Shropshire homes whilst looking for our first home, we were well looked after at Oakmere Ridge Ellesmere by Sarah! From first viewing to completion she was always on the other end of the phone with updates and answers to any questions we had. We can’t wait to experience our new home and feel as though we’ve been well informed with anything that may come up.

A 1* for customer service, I love my house we are both very proud of getting a property however, it’s leaked several times and I’m still waiting for snags to be fixed after 11 months including a mouldy porch and bad fitted kitchen. The manager on site avoided us after knowing what issues we were having and now he’s left our emails have conveniently been replied back too, customer care is solving the issue now if not we have to take it further, it’s endless. Very poor and disappointing as I previous wrote a lovely review before problems started to occur.

I’ve had a number of issues since purchasing my property at Forest Edge in Loggerheads, and the blatant lack of response from customer services has been shocking. On the rare occasions I do get a response, it often feels dismissive—almost as if they’re not interested in the concerns I’ve raised.

The customer journey started off well, with good communication and support before completion. However, once the property was handed over, everything changed. That’s when the problems began, and the level of service significantly declined.

It’s incredibly disappointing to feel ignored after making such a major investment. Aftercare should be just as important as the sales process, but sadly, that hasn't been my experience.

Would absolutely recommend Shropshire Homes, especially if all teams are just like who helped me with my home in Oakmere Ridge.
Sarah, Emma and towards the end Caroline were nothing but friendly, helpful and knowledgable with anything I came to them with; in particular, the weekly updates with solicitors. There were a few times were I felt like I was in the dark.. (although I can’t fault Hatcher’s who were recommended by Shropshire Homes)I would update them and without asking .. 5 minutes later they would call me back, have an update for me and reassure me that everything was on track.. I even ended up moving in earlier than expected!
I have never had a smoother, easier and care free journey.
A special mention to Andy who made sure I had last minute extras in place and installed before I moved in! Also Roger who helped me navigate all the tech bits throughout the home.
I met one tradesman (didn’t catch his name) who walked me through my house earlier than expected and pulled up snags before I even had a chance to spot them and was true to his word.. I have yet to find anything.

We will soon be moving into our new home at Oakmere Ridge in Ellesmere and so far our dealings with Shropshire Homes have been faultless. Moving house is inevitably a stressful time, but I can honestly say that Sarah and Emma have made sure that there is no stress with our purchase! Nothing is too much trouble, and every effort made to accommodate requests etc - they have the patience of saints!!!
Sarah informs me of how the build is going along the way, and makes sure that I will meet key personnel on site… a real good feeling that they are working together within the company to deliver!
Having purchased properties from larger builders previously, I value how Shropshire Homes are treating me as a person rather than a number

Phil the site manager made sure everything was perfect for us, and we will forever be greatful to them both for making our experience super easy (as easy as buying a home can be) and keeping us updated at every step!

I have just moved in to my beautiful new home built by Shropshire Homes. I was after the forever home so it had to be perfect.
From start to finish, Ruth at Foundry Point has been incredible. She has spent a lot of time explaining things to me and supporting me along my journey. She really is star of the show and has made the buying process simple! From chasing on my related sale/this purchase, to making sure that any concerns were addressed I really would have found this so much more stressful without her.
All of the site team are super helpful and friendly.
Wide range of choices when choosing personal touches means you can get your new home exactly how you want it.
Their quality and customer service is above and beyond anything any other new build site were offering, so the choice to buy a home from them was an easy one.
I would 100% recommend Shropshire Homes and can't wait to make the most of my new home!

Shropshire Homes build excellent well priced houses. When visiting their Sales Office on their Oakmere Ridge site at Ellesmere we met Sarah Cotton assisted by her colleague Emma. They were both welcoming and very professional presenting The Acton house that we were interested in purchasing.There were many things that we wanted to change to the standard specification and Sarah in conjunction with Joe their Buyer were able to accommodate our requirements making it a pleasurable experience.The changes we requested will make the property our home, not just a house.

On the day of the handover, Andy was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, ensuring that every detail of the house was perfect before we moved in.

Now that we’ve been in for a week, we’ve had a couple of minor issues, like some paint touch-ups, and these have been dealt with super quickly (next day). The team's responsiveness and commitment to quality have been exceptional. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our new home and the service we. Highly recommend Shropshire Homes!

I can’t fault Shropshire Homes, all the staff have been amazing. Particularly Sarah - she has the patience of a saint and nothing is too much trouble. She’s knowledgeable and efficient whilst paying so much attention to the detail of our new home to make sure it’s just right for us. I can’t not mention Ed the site manager - he’s just fabulous and genuinely keen for our home to be perfect. If our new home is as good as the staff we will be very happy !!

Sue who sold us the house and site manager both so helpful and just amazing service could have asked for any better.

We will be moving into our property in March, however, the customer service we have received so far is fantastic! We early bird reserved our property in October 2023 and since we have such a positive experience with Maggie. No task is too big and she always goes the extra mile to help us (even with the million and one questions I had). It’s always a scary experience buying your first home but the support and guidance Maggie gave us was amazing. Maggie is a credit to your company!

We have recently moved into our new home at Foundry Point. Without Ruth in the office I don’t think it would have at all been possible! From chasing solicitors, buyers, estate agents and head office it was a tough push to get us in within the designated time bracket! But somehow and going above and beyond she made this possible for us! Ruth has been there every step of the way and even after being in for nearly two weeks is still very much there for us if needed! She is an asset to the company and a very friendly face on site! Even our dogs itch to get in the show home to see her when we go for walks! Thank you so much for all your help!
As for the home, we are absolutely in love with it and it has been made to a very high standard with great specifications tailored to our needs! The guys on site are all really nice and polite and if help is needed they are there! Best decision we ever made going with Shropshire Homes! Thank you to you all and keep up the good work!!

Shropshire homes have made everything so easy for us to move into our new home. From our very first visit we have been treated brilliantly by everyone we’ve come across. Working with the sales team to get everything agreed to being shown round our house has been a great experience and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you all.

From the start we were keen to purchase a house from Shropshire Homes as the site was in a good position; close to the country but within walking distance of the town and the house designs suited our needs. All in all it was a year before we were able to proceed with a purchase and during this time the sales office kept us informed about the availability of homes and were very helpful in keeping the purchase procedure ticking along. The construction of the homes is good, the fitments are of a good quality and if reserved in time there is a choice of cupboard colours and flooring. Albeit there is a small annual service charge it does mean all public spaces are kept looking good. I would recommend this company.

Shropshire Homes have provided us with a home of fantastic quality and style that will no doubt stand the test of time.

We wanted to say a big thank you to Maggie at the Crudgington Fields development. She has provided an excellent service from start to finish. Buying your forever home is a huge decision to make and not something you do very often so understandably it can be a stressful process; however Maggie’s attentiveness, friendly approach and passion for what she does made the experience really enjoyable. Maggie went above and beyond on many occasions. We particularly appreciated the time and consideration Maggie gave in helping us finalise difficult decisions when purchasing optional extras. With hindsight it’s clear to see that, without Maggie’s second opinion and new build expertise, we very nearly made poor design decisions that would have been costly to rectify.

We are extremely happy with our home purchase and we felt very settled immediately.

Both Sarah and Ruth have been nothing but supportive, helpful and kind. Nothing has been too much trouble and their communication has been perfection! Can’t wait to move in. Thank you.
